I purchased from this local florist for my uncle's funeral and the flowers look exactly like the picture. I called 2 days before the funeral just to make sure everything will get delivered on time and they said they checked with the funeral home and were going to deliver ahead of the time of the family arriving. I found Diablo Florist on Yelp and after looking at the photos, reviews and website, I called. The associate who helped me was extremely helpful in putting my order together. The arrangement was delivered the next day and it was even better than the photo I saw online. Fabulous mix of summer florals. Ordered the Farmhouse Fleur to be delivered to my BFF in the hospital. Outstanding customer service over the phone and received a completed picture and delivery time. They are stunning! My girlfriend adores them, saying it is the most beautiful arrangement she's ever received and all the nurses have visited her room just to take pictures of the flowers and florist shop info! The arrangement truly brought happiness! I don't order flowers frequently, but am beyond impressed with the response and outcome! Caroline and Lisa omg these ladies are superb . They give the very best high quality service. My sister's dog passed away and needed to send her some flowers same day. It was a last minute request and she delivered them to my sister's home in less than 2 hours. She asked me what I wanted in the sympathy bouquet I told her I trusted her style. This florist is amazing. I sent my mom an arrangement for her birthday. I emailed the florist with a concern I had and Carolyn the owner emailed me and called me right back. I was not looking for anything more than to tell them something and they sent my mom a whole new arrangement. This level of customer service is fantastic. I purchased from this local florist for my uncle's funeral and the flowers look exactly like the picture. My mom was depressed after finding out she had to spend yet *another* night in the hospital. I wanted to distract her and needed a Sutter Hospital delivery the same day. Their delivery person had already left, but Lisa was sympathetic and she and the owner were kind enough to make it happen. I really appreciated that. I Gave Diablo View Florist a $100 price point and said to just do their magic. My Mom was surprised with the flowers that night and was absolutely delighted! The arrangement was SO gorgeous that the nurses were talking about it at the nurses station and kept coming in to look and talk to my Mom. That says a lot as nurses see flowers all day, every day. :) A full 6 days later her bouquet was still perfect. 10 days later she had to pluck a few flowers out but they were still stunning. Very pleased and highly recommend them. Call them directly instead of using one of the 800 services, and let them be creative! read more

Ordered a delivery for a family member who got surgery, but the arrangement was more of a headache than anything. I made sure this place could do same day delivery, and the order did not arrived. I called the florist and she apologized, saying they tried to deliver. The lady stated that I should've gotten an email stating they were trying to deliver - I never received anything. I let it slide because she assured me the arrangement would be the first thing delivery and it'll go out right when they open. I gave them an hour after opening and called - florist told me that it was on the truck and already out for delivery. I called my family member and they still did not receive anything. The flowers were delivered 7 hours after opening on the SECOND day. Not a reliable place and does not call to update you. I would recommend trying somewhere else that keeps you updated or calls the recipient to coordinate delivery options. read more

I needed Gladiolas, which I know are not in season, for a friend who had a child that died. I emailed back-and-forth with the florist the entire weekend, and they answered every question of mine and I hope you can see the arrangement. It is beautiful it is perfection. I am thrilled with the work they did. And my friend texted me as soon as he got them and said how touched he was by them. So I would recommend them without any reservation whatsoever. Carolyn is very creative and gifted! I requested a bouquet delivered to my friend and I only asked for unique flowers and lots of color. Wow!!! I absolutely loved her bouquet and my friend and her husband were both in awe!! I've used a lot of different florists all over CA and FL, but I was extremely impressed Diablo View Florist. My mother recently passed, and after many years I returned to Diablo View Florist. Our family have been customers for generations. I sat down with Lisa and in detail went over photos and my specific request for a gravesite spray of flowers. When I arrived the day of the service, I cannot tell you how disappointed I was with the arrangement that had been delivered. It was completely opposite of anything I had discussed and shown Lisa. I contacted the florist at their email. The response was my complaint would be forwarded to Lisa as that is who met with me regarding the details of the arrangement. Lisa did email me and apologized for the mishap. I explained to her that not even one of the flowers I had asked for was present. I asked for white with purple. There was very little, and the arrangement was actually dark in color. The service had passed and I declined her offer for a redo. She also offered a refund which I accepted and told her I felt was warranted. I have never had any response of any kind from Diablo View Florist since. I cannot tell you how many orders my family has placed with Diablo View Florist for so many occasions, going back to the 1930's. We considered the previous owner, Mary Lou, a family friend. Under the current ownership, I am sad to say I will not be going back. read more

You've truly exceeded my expectations. I made a last minute call to see if a same day flower delivery was possible due to late notice. Not only was a bouquet delivered it truly made her day as every flower chosen happen to be her favorite flowers and would have purchased herself. I really wanted to like this place because of how gorgeous the bouquets are on their website. I live really close but was out of town for my parents wedding anniversary and wanted to send something nice. I chose to order the Pop Of Lavender By BloomNation arrangement to be delivered. On their site they have 3 options ranging from standard to deluxe and premium. There are no photos giving the difference between each so I just got the premium because I wanted it to look exactly like the photo or better. I was left very disappointed unfortunately. The 3 stars are for the accommodations they did make for me. I emailed them the photos of my arrangement compared to the one on the website. My arrangement was missing the orchids. The delivery was made 11/11/22 and after just 1 week the flowers are already dying which is unusual for such an expensive bouquet. They did give me a partial refund and were very apologetic. I just wish I revived what I ordered and that they lasted just a bit longer for the price point. Pics provided below. read more

Let me just begin this with: I'm a floral designer at a florist in Sacramento. So I'm familiar with working with flowers and building arrangements. Working in the florist industry, I know flowers can go out of stock/season and arrangements cannot guarantee it to look exactly the same as the photo. However, I just don't feel like the photo accurately represented what my mom received. I think the arrangement itself is nice but in no way does it look similar to what I wanted, I even specified lots of peachy colors and I just don't feel like that was taken into account. I have great respect for florists, designers and everyone else that goes into running a flower shop, I hope that this review can be taken as criticism and not a bad experience because it wasn't. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! that pretty much sums up how I feel about diablo view florist. I went In For a quote for my wedding. I met with the owner, Carolyn and right away I knew I was in good hands. We discussed details and she gave very good suggestions. I had her make the bouquets, corsage, boutonnieres and Center pieces. She was very reasonably priced and very accommodating. I was able to bring in my own diy centerpiece vases for her to use. I never once had any stress regarding my flowers. Carolyn kept in good contact all the way up to the big day. I was so amazed at her work when I arrived to the venue. My bouquet was my favorite, along with a rose she prepared for my mom who had passed away. For a small event I sponsored I had a bouquet made as part of my give away prize. I like to tuck a little Starbucks gift card in a bouquet for one lucky winner. I left the arrangement idea up to them. I was so surprised by the bouquet. It was one of the most gorgeous bouquets I've ever seen. And I come from a family of florists. It was very nice because they delivered it to my husbands office. Then he brought it home to me because I was unable to pick it up. When I brought it to my event everyone ooo'd and ahhh'd over it. It was quite the hit. It was so full and gorgeous. I loved, loved, loved the feathers she put in it. The Roses were magnificent and full. The florists here are amazing artists. I secretly wished I kept it. But I'm sure the gentleman who won it took it home to his wife who adored it too. read more

We also have one of the largest color selections of roses weekly. We import all of our roses fromEquador as well as Columbia. We only use farms that practice ethical working conditions for it's workers and their families. We follow the chain of life process to ensure the longest possible shelf life for your flowers and have a replacement no questions asked policy. Weddings are a passion of the owner. Each Wedding is created with attention to detail and quality in mind at all times. Only the perfect blooms are selected and used in the bouquets. With a strong artistic flair each wedding is unique and suited to your taste and budget. Our florist has been proudly serving our community since 1930. We are not only family owned but I take personal pride in running the store as well. We're not only the oldest florist locally but we are the oldest business located within our city. I personally took over in 2006 with a fresh and on trend perspective with my floral artistry. One thing you will notice with my custom floral arrangements is I use a variety of mixed materials and unique flowers. And lastly 80% of my flowers are grown using local farms. This is not only responsible environmentally but also gives the consumer the freshest possible flowers. California has vast fields and sun so we certainly are fortunate and take advantage of this win win... I'd love to earn your business. My passion is to always push the limits of design and use unique materials most wouldn't consider using together to create beautiful unforgettable floral pieces. Carolyn at Diablo View Florist made three absolutely breathtaking and unique funeral flower arrangements to honor my father. She incorporated on of his hand-crafted small boats on his casket arrangement, and the flowers were that of what you would see at the delta. She made an anchor for us that looked like it was just pulled up from the water and incorporated the boat steering wheel with unique flowers on another arrangement as well. If you are looking to do something traditional, or add just a little something special, or have her incorporate a passion a loved one had this is the place to go to honor someone you love. Carolyn created the flowers for my daughter's wedding. The flowers were beautiful, very reasonably priced and her customer service was great. We had to move up the time of the pictures at the last minute because of the heat and she was willing to come in earlier so I could pick up the bride and grooms flowers. She then came back an hour later (even though her shop was closed that day) to meet my family member to pick up the rest of the flowers. She was kind and patient even though my family member was over an hour late picking up the flowers. The next day she sent me a text to make sure everything went well and thanking me for being a part of our wedding. I would recommend Diablo View Florist to anyone. read more

My son uses this florist for every occasion that he sends me flowers. Today I got THE most beautiful bouquet, bells of Ireland, yellow and coral baby roses, large orangey roses, white hydrangeas, lilies, and some gorgeous flowers I'm not familiar with in shades of violet, burgundy and creamy white. Tied up with a black and white stripe ribbon (very French!) and with a lovely dove in the center of it all. Oh, and it is in a galvanized metal vase! I can't get over how gorgeous it is.
