I sent a Thanksgiving cornucopia table arrangement to my dear friends who had just moved into their new house. Wanted it to be special since it was their 1st TG there, (after living in an apartment whilst conducting a multiple year home & job search). The guests included their ~100 year old parents, married for 75years and his brother, his only sibling. Such a lovely, beautiful, and kind family. At 100, more family holidays are behind you than in future, so really wanted to send something special to them. (see below) My friend had just barely finished unpacking everything from storage and getting the house prepared for her guests. She arrived home later than planned from too many errands in a new area & grocery shopping. Mind you I had only ordered it a few days prior bc It took awhile to find what I was specifically looking for, a centerpiece arrangement that would be in a cornucopia basket. It was a thing growing up in the 70's, our Mom's had this type of basket that was put on the table every Thanksgiving yet somehow times change, and many moves later no basket. They now had one again, and said it brought back all the good memories from many childhood family Thanksgivings. I wanted to send my 82 year old mother' some flowers. She has dementia and was depressed. My mother's favorite flower are white orchids. Five stars is not enough for this gem!!! Last week I ordered flowers for my daughters Michelle's birthday which is today to be delivered to her classroom. I ordered them from this shop in her neck of the woods because it had a perfect 5 star ratings from every one of the 86 prior reviews. Sonia, the owner of the shop, was a delight to talk with and together we explored a variety of options until I realized I sbould just leave everything in her hands. She came up with the arrangement shown in the first picture. Unfortunately, the date of the delivery got mixed up and the flowers arrived yesterday, the day before Michelle's birthday.  Michele thought the flowers were beautiful - I do too - but afterwards I wondered whether the kids would think "Why doesn't Mrs. XXX's dad know her birthday?" So I called the flower shop both to complement them on the beautiful arrangement and to mention the mixup on delivery dates. Sonia was very apologetic and the next thing I know she sent me this picture of a second bouquet she just delivered to Michelle's classroom with a note explaining to the kids that Michelle's dad does indeed know her birthday. :-))) Now that's epic customer service!!!
