"no. " I looked around for about a minute more and decided to leave. I have been to the Granite Expo in Fairfield and their Customer Service is phenomenal. The inside of the building is extremely clean and well kept at the Fairfield location; total opposite of this place. I tried to go to the Granite Expo Vacaville for the first time today because it's closer to where I live. I can now say Fairfield is well worth the drive. Customer Service here is just really horrible and theres substantially less choices then their granite expo in Fairfield.

They delayed me for some time because first of all they ordered the wrong unit. They always had an excuse for everything that went wrong. They did not complete the project as promised. They were very rude and said that I was being to picky about the installation. Neither they or Meeks would honor any warranty for the defects of the French door unit. I ended up having to hire someone who knew what they are doing to finish the job and correct the poor workmanship that was done. I will not ever purchase anything from Meeks and never hire this contractor again, nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.

He was also very knowledgeable and recommended upgrading the screen door for the slider since the standard one can feel a bit cheap, and suggested upgrading the glass to help with temperature regulation. He also gave me a quote for the exact door I originally ordered from Home Depot, in case I didn't want to upgrade anything. I really appreciated the time he spent helping me, especially since it was just one slider door. Excellent customer service. They definitely have my business going forward. Highly recommend!

In both instances, there were multiple employees working at the front desk area on their computers. While they may have been busy, no one acknowledged or greeted us when we walked in. Even a simple "Hi, we'll be with you shortly" would have gone a long way. My wife spent about 10 minutes browsing the showroom during one visit and we still were not approached. We ultimately left both times without speaking to anyone. We understand that some showrooms operate by appointment, and if that is the standard protocol, that is perfectly fine. However, a quick greeting, asking whether we had an appointment, or offering to schedule one would have created a very different experience. We did not have this issue at Golden State Lumber or Ashby Lumber, where we were promptly acknowledged and assisted. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we will be moving forward elsewhere.

Customers "BEWARE" This company will rip you off!!!…read moreI called to get a quote on the cost of concrete, i was quoted $141.00 per yard, it sounded like a reasonable price, i showed up and requested 3 yards, each trip took one yard, when i was done i when back to return the barrel, I made sure to clean the barrel as good as i could, as i came in to the office i was informed that the barrel was not clean to their standards, the barrel was empty and clean!! there was no possible way it could have been any cleaner, i was told they would charge me an additional $100.00 i when out to show them that it was clean and they refused to even look. Unfortunately it did not end there, Once i reviewed the bill they charge me and additional $60.00 for (Emergency Freight Surcharge) they charged me $94.50 (barrel Mixer) and $100.00 for a dirty barrel, this company does have the a sign for the $100.00 charge for a dirty barrel, that's why i made sure it was clean, but they do not have anything posted for the bogus charges, nor was i verbally disclosed that there would be additional charges, this company has been ripping people off and it needs to stop, many of the customers speak very little English and don't complain. This company owes me: $60.00 emergency freight surcharge $94.50 barrel mixer $100.00 dirty barrel fee But more important need to stop this corrupt and misleading and racist practices.

We recently got the new floor in the hallway that came with non-standard baseboards. Because the…read morenew baseboards are taller, we had an ugly mismatch in the transition from the living room to the hallway. Checked all local home improvement stores and none of them had the size of baseboards that floor installers put in. Finally, after days of searching, I stumbled upon Moulding Base and checked their website. The website doesn't show what they have in store, so I gave them a call to check, and they confirmed the baseboard is in stock. Even though Rancho Cordova is not our part of the woods, we drove over to the business park where Moulding Base is located to pick it up. They also deliver, but I did not check how much it would be, since the distance might not warrant the cost for us. If someone lives closer and doesn't have a pick-up, this is definitely an option worth exploring. Since these baseboards come in 16 feet pieces, we had to have it cut in half, so it would fit over the gate in my pick-up. They will gladly cut the baseboards in the back before loading the product in. The store has all sorts of baseboards and moulding, just as the name implies. If it exists, most likely they will have it here, and if not they can order it. While I won't be coming here every time when replacing baseboards, in case there is something non-standard that local Home Depot doesn't carry, I now know where to go.
