We really liked their paver garden, where we could see how different pavers looked laid out in natural sunlight. It really helped in our selection. Luis at the front counter was helpful, informative, and easy going. read more

This wasn't my husband's first time here and definitely won't be his last. My husband is a DIY kinda guy and went in to get bricks for around our pool. One of the guys who works there was extremely helpful and told him that the bricks he was looking for were discontinued but there were display bricks he could help himself to that may be an exact match or close to what he was looking for. Another employee showed my husband to the bricks and he was on his way. These guys were helpful, friendly and courteous. The brickyard will continue to get our business. read more

Orlando at the brickyard solved a problem for me. I wanted to elevate my new half barrels that I'll be planting in. He suggested four 6"x6" pavers. A perfect solution! read more

This place has been my go to for my pond building project. I have visited them multiple time for rock products. Always quick and fast service. The yard men are super helpful with loading. More than I expected and any business. Usually you are on your own loading. Thank guys. Next project I will be there again. If you need rock products in the area. Make sure to check them out. read more

Jose was very helpful on Saturday when I stopped by with my son to pick up some boulders for my backyard. He was efficient in helping me with picking out the ones suitable for me, and swift with the forklift. He also was friendly and joked around with us . The prices were excellent compared to another site nearby, where we often wander through without anybody approaching us. We have also bought other DIY products here. read more

Very helpful to find to find materials to finish an unfinished job from last year. Luis went above and beyond to located the needed materials moving pallets out of the way with his forklift. Thank you. read more

I just showed up today and had a very pleasant experience. I am a DIYer, and was intimidated as most of the folks around seemed to be contractors and professional. I got in line and spoke with Nelson, a brick expert and bbq aficionado. He knew exactly what I was trying to build, and quickly recommended two types of brick. I asked for dimensions of the brick, and he did me one better, getting me free samples. Overall, the visit exceeded my expectations, and I was surprised to see other reviews mentioning poor customer service. I didn't receive any. Nelson, you da man! read more

These guys are great! Great selection of material and what we bought was 1/2 the price of a competitor.

Let me first start by saying amazing customer service. My husband came here looking to replace a few stones that were missing from the front of the wall on our house. Couple of the gentleman there went above and beyond to assist him in finding exactly what he needed and even explained to him how he needed to fix it. We have another huge backyard project that we are working on and we will definitely come back here to get what we need. read more

We ordered materials through Brickyard... there was a delay from the outside vendor and it took longer than originally anticipated to receive our material. However, when the material was received, we found that the vendor brochure had absolutely misrepresented the material. It was so much so that our cost of labor was going to triple. We had some back and forth with Brickyard and the vendor (about the 30% restocking fee) and ultimately, the Brickyard gave us a full refund. I do not know if they had to eat the cost of restocking or were able to resell the material, but they saved us almost $300. For those of us who are retired and on a fixed income, this is a good bit of money. It was clear the brochure misrepresented the materials. Leah and all of the staff at Brickyard were very professional and tried working with us to find a solution. I will absolutely use The Brickyard again as I think the service and staff are OUTSTANDING. read more

Very disappointed. Pavers delivered didn't match color in Pamphlet. They agreed to take back and charge $100 for clean up fee- I agreed to pay. Next thing I know, they want me to pay for delivery and pick up. This was not agreed to in the various email correspondence. I agreed to meet them half way. I was told they were cutting me a breaK as they were not charging me restocking fee etc. However, the most relevant fact of this situation is the material didn't not comply with the color displayed in the pamphlet and didn't meet the consumers expectation. read more

I enjoy working with this company best products! Customer service is great! Except I think his name is Orlando, horrible customer service. read more

I went here on a Friday and look around. And the lady actually ask and shown me around they have a good selection compare the one in vallejo and their price is more competitive than my area local paver. The lady was not very informative but she recommended I go to their one of the class mostly Saturdays their all my questions are unsweredand Aswell as they showed how to do paving and the vendor was very informative on what work or not. I got all my materials and was very happy with the purchased I have my paver with the base and the sand plus the sealer and polymer. And the price was very very competitive much much less than Vallejo plus I got a better paver for their price is competitive and willing to work which you. I will update photo on my project read more

Yes, customer service isn't necessarily their strong area. I have done business with them in the past, though. I knew what I was looking for, and they had the better price at the time. read more

Jennifer, Jim, and Lorenzo where so helpful. We got the stone we needed at a great price. The driver that delivered are stone was so nice. Went out of his way to put the stone where we needed it. It was a great experience. read more

They offered a free sample of a stone sealant that helped me make a crucial decision for finishing a project at my house. Just for the heck of it, I stopped by Home Depot and they don't even carry the sealer in stock although you can get it online. You can special order it. Their price was about the same. Stay with the local business who knows what works best. read more

I am only giving this two stars because they do have an excellent selection. Customer service however was non existent. I went on Saturday 5/10 at 8:10am (right after they opened). I wondered around in the yard for about 10 minutes liking around then went inside. There was a man and woman behind the counter neither bothered to acknowledge I came in. I was in there looking at stone for about 10-15 minutes with no "can I help you find something" "do you have any questions" I grabbed some catalogs and left. Although they had a great selection I will not be back. I can get better service on line. read more

This place may have a good selection and some neat displays but their customer service and ridiculous hours leave a lot to be desired. It's a long weekend and we wanted to check it out and get some things done in our backyard. Knowing that this was a holiday weekend, we first called and then checked the website to see if they'd be open. Both the website and the phone recording stated that they were open til 2:00 pm. We loaded up the kids, braved the crazy I-80 Memorial Day traffic and pulled up to closed gates with a note about being closed for the whole Memorial Day weekend so that the employees could enjoy their families. I am all about letting your employees have time off with their families but PLEASE, update your website or your phone recording to state that you are CLOSED. This is the second time that this has happened to us, hence why we double checked this time before we left. How hard is it to let your customers know that you'll be closed without them having made the trip out to your site to find out? For that, we will never be back. read more
