Karaoke, jukebox and long pours what more can you ask for? This is a nice size space with indoor and outdoor seating! The drinks are strong and the boys are plentiful lol.

As an Artistic Director for a NY based company I had to come out and support the local scene and let me say this....I was NOT disappointed. The whole production was on point from the hostess of the evening down to the talent. The drinks were strong and I brought two Drag Show virgins with me who left as fans. Homerun. This will now be my favorite watering hole in Phoenix when I visit my brother.

Have you ever seen Cabaret? This place is SO awesome and the best place you will ever see in phoenix or rest of the country. If you love personal performance, check it out!

I love it here! Come me and my partner walked in around 3 in the afternoon it was great! We where greeted by the bartender who was very very nice and also greeted by some guests sitting at the bar so as soon as we walked in we felt very welcomed. We ordered 2 drinks vodka and red bull and Tito's and sprite. The drinks where delicious as we buy our drinks he then tells us it is buy one get one free!!! Whaaaaaaaaat yass even better! We sat for about 2 hours had our 2 drinks listened to great tunes. The bartender was so nice and gave us both a free shot! We made sure to tip him good for his kindness to us from the very beginning of walking in which is very hard to come by now and days. We will definitely be going back! This place is awesome they also have amazing drag shows a outside patio. This bar is a definite must on melrose.

They treated us so wonderfully for my sister's bachelorette party - we went and saw the Barbra Seville show with Celia Putty, Diva, and more!

Captain's Club? Say less…read more I came to Carry On with some friends to celebrate a special occasion, and let me just say... this was a 10/10 experience from boarding to the last bite! We went all in with the Captain's Club experience ($115 per guest), which is basically First Class... but make it bougie. You get a welcome cocktail, in-flight snacks, THREE craft cocktails of your choice, plus a four-course light bite menu. And yes, I was seated and ready for takeoff. The cocktails: Absolutely amazing. Every drink we tried was beautifully crafted, flavorful, and dangerously easy to enjoy. Three cocktails? Apparently, I had places to be... emotionally. The food lineup: King Crab Dumplings -- flavorful, delicate, and the perfect little first bite. Mini Salmon Lox Bagel -- cute, classy, and packed with that savory lox goodness. Japanese A5 Wagyu Skewers -- HELLOOOO. Tender, rich, and ridiculously delicious. This was giving luxury. New York Style Cheesecake -- creamy, decadent, and the perfect sweet ending. Everything was delicious, the drinks were fabulous, and the whole experience had such a fun, sexy, upscale atmosphere. It felt like a night out, a cocktail lounge, and a first-class flight had a very glamorous baby. This was such a fun way to celebrate a special occasion with friends. The vibes were immaculate, the food was on point, the cocktails were flowing, and the experience was absolutely worth it. 10/10 -- would absolutely board again. Next flight, please!

I went on their website on Monday, two weeks before I wanted to try Carry On. In my experience,…read morethat was the easiest way to get tickets. Carry On actually called me to confirm our "tickets," which I thought was really cute. The whole experience kind of started a couple of days before our actual "departure time." They also reminded us to park in the Renaissance Square parking garage under Wren & Wolf, and they were able to validate our parking for three hours. We had to go to Wren & Wolf first to pick up our Carry On tickets. We got there early, and they let us relax in their couch area while we waited for our departure time. The walk from the Renaissance Square parking garage to Wren & Wolf was easy. You just follow the signs, and the whole walk is inside the building, which was perfect because it was so hot outside. While we were waiting, we could order drinks and chill, just like being in an airport lounge. When it was time for departure, we walked outside the building, and Carry On was right around the corner. You won't miss it because you'll see the Carry On Air flight schedule above the gate door. Right on time, we were greeted by a friendly flight attendant. Once we walked into the cabin, it really felt like we were inside a first-class flight lounge. Our flight attendant served us drinks right after we sat down, and we also ordered more cocktails and snacks from their menu. The captain spoke to us over the speaker, just like on a real flight. As we took off, we could even feel the seats moving. Looking out the "window," we saw buildings, clouds surrounding us, and even experienced turbulence I'm not going to tell you too much because I don't want to ruin the experience. I'll let you try it for yourself. I think it's definitely worth giving it a try. At least for us, we loved it.

Great spot to go have a drink with friends. I'd heard about this place but never been. Easy to miss…read moresince it's a bit tucked away. You can only catch the thunderbird sign on the front window. This place is such a nostalgic place/ the retro walls, the wooden panels, the decorum and games, the lighting, everything. Bob Ross was playing on the television at the front, and the arcade games are classic. There are trophy's on the shelves and some cool "mature" trinkets sprinkled around. The guy behind the bar was swell. He was just chipper and jovial and it was great. I had a house marg (was on special for $7) and my friends had some Mantucky Cold Snacks. He said the crowd is usually such good vibes and that the place is well known for the patio in the back (I didn't get to peek outside before we left!) but I did see some warmers from the inside... seems like a nice wide open space to host groups. Made me happy to bee there with good friends. Will definitely be coming back.

I've been to Thunderbird Lounge probably half a dozen times, usually on a Friday or Saturday when…read morethey have 80s retro music or a DJ. They host different themed events on the weekends, and there's usually no cover unless it's a special event. The vibe is laid-back with a retro dive bar feel, and I've noticed a mix of different types of people there, all seeming to have a good time. The back patio often turns into a dance floor when there's a DJ or music playing. Inside, the space leans heavily into the retro theme. There are a few arcade games, a retro-style phone booth, and a living room area that looks like something straight out of the 70s, which adds to the nostalgic atmosphere. Ordering drinks can be a bit hit or miss. The bar inside can get a long line, and there isn't waitstaff walking around taking drink orders. There is a small window connected to the bar where you can place drink orders, almost like an ordering window, which sometimes works better than waiting at the main bar. Parking can also be a bit of a challenge. There is parking in front of the establishment and in the same shopping center, and you can also park across the street. Just be aware that towing can happen in some areas, so it's worth paying attention to the signs.
