What is the purpose of the wait list when a third of the tables were empty?

When we went there was no wait list

Do they have WiFi?

I don't think so! They have very quick turn arounds, so they don't want customers stick around for too long.

Can you do a large to go breakfast order for 30-40 people?

I want to see menu?

Just good coffee shop food. Nice place to hangout or meet friends.

Do you do to go orders?

Yes they do!

First of all the woman taking orders was extremely rude! There were 3 of us ordering together. The first person wanted to order the French Toast combo and switch out the eggs for hashbrowns. We were told that we would have to pay the cost of a side of hashbrowns $4.70. An extra egg cost $2.10 so 2 eggs would cost $4.20 so charge us the 50 cent difference for the hashbrowns. We asked if we could do this and she scoffed and said no. (I remember not too long ago they were charging an additional cost to anything with eggs due to the higher cost of eggs.) So the first person stepped aside to figure out what to get. The next person in our party ordered, obviously there are still 2 people left in our party to order and in a very snotty way, as if she was being inconvenienced, she asked "Is that all?" Then as she was filling our drinks she kept making snide comments about us to another employee. When our food came the French Toast had butter on it, we had asked for no butter and they also had bits of onion in them. Again, due to the rude service we will go down the street to Tops from now on. Upon reading other reviews she is clearly THE problem and must be related to someone because she is still there. Clean house and you'll get customers back.

Only thing next time I will ask for a little more butter and syrup - easy fix. Our actual order was the House Special Noah's Ark - 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and 2 slices of bacon. (My husband substituted chicken sausage for the bacon. He appreciated that option.) I ordered my eggs soft scrambled with cheese and they came out PERFECT! This is a rarity. They generally come out runny or overcooked. The eggs were fresh, seasoned great and tasted delicious. Husband ordered his scrambled with cheese and onions and his were perfect too. Not soft like mine, not overcooked. That sounds simple but I can't tell you how rare this is done correctly. Both of us really enjoyed our breakfasts and know we will be back for more. We also saw other items on the menu that looked really good so we're looking forward to trying them. My mother had the Smoked Brisket Reuben, served with salad, and she said it was delicious. She said the dressing on the salad was especially tasty. The restaurant is a cute retro diner with wonderful, friendly service. They have seating at the counter and booth seating. We were seated promptly and drink order taken. Food order arrived quickly and was accurate. Generous portion sizes. The desserts looked really good but I didn't have any room to try them out. Something else to try next time!!

This is such a sad eatery for a college campus...it almost makes me want to cry…read more Let's see, it's my second day on campus and am totallllly missing my food from UCLA. So far, I've tried their coffee. It's not exactly the cheapest coffee out there but at least it's cheaper than Starbucks. Yesterday for lunch, I also got the turkey and cheese pita sandwich (priced decently) which was pretty good. For dinner I got a Chinese Chicken Sandwhich which was okay....but I would only eat it again if i was in need desperately for fiber. Today, I started off with the same coffee routine, but for lunch I got their Italian combo which was lasagna with salad and garlic bread stick. WOW. That lasagna was super dry. It was one of those frozen lasagna that you can buy at Costco...but even if I were to make it it would come out better. The food wasn't even kept in a steamer, but a tin foil tray so it was cold and dry. BLEH. The salad was okay, but they piled it on with ranch dressing :( And the bread stick. my GOSH! The roof of my mouth is still trying to recover from the flavorless dry plank of carbs that I was given. All that for ~$7. RIPPPPP OFFFFFFF. There is still the Chinese selection and the grill that I have yet to try. Chinese doesn't look too promising...for sure worse than Panda Express right across the street. The grill though looks good considering they actually make it for you on the spot. They also have a fried popcorn chicken and french fries you can grab and go. It looks good, but I have mainly 2 issues with it 1) It costs ~$6.50 and 2) it's WRAPPED IN SARAN WRAP IN A STYROFOAM TRAY SITTING UNDER THE HEAT TRYING TO KEEP IT WARM!!! uh...HELLO?!?! Isn't that just WAITING for cancer to happen with MELTING PLASTIC?!?!?!?! YIKES! For the sake of being on campus, it's 2 stars. They also keep the place pretty clean. But.....I'm starting to think about bringing lunch from now on....

I can't remember exactly when it became a Denny's, but we've been coming here ever since and have always enjoyed our visits. The service has always been friendly, and the food is consistently good. I'm a creature of habit, so I order the same meal every time: the French Toast Slam with well-done hash browns instead of eggs, no sausage, and extra bacon. It's my ultimate comfort breakfast and always hits the spot. What I enjoy most is being able to come here with my family, share a meal, and catch up. It's a reliable neighborhood diner with good food, welcoming service, and a nostalgic feel that keeps us coming back.

We both ordered T-bone steaks--mine medium rare, hers medium. Unfortunately, both orders came out incorrect. My steak was well done instead of medium rare. My friend's was also overcooked, so hers was sent back. She ended up switching to a sirloin, which was tough. My steak was remade, but it still came out overcooked again. The cut was also very thin, more like something suited for a sandwich than a proper steak. After that, the server kindly offered me the sirloin as well, but it was undercooked in the center, on the raw side and not properly prepared either. At that point, I didn't want to continue sending food back or making it more complicated, so I declined further replacements. The server did offer alternatives and remained very polite and accommodating throughout, which I genuinely appreciated. I also made sure to acknowledge the service to the manager because the staff was doing their best. However, the kitchen execution on multiple steak orders was inconsistent during this visit. This location has some history for me--it used to be Coco's back in the days, right across from the convalescent hospital where my mom passed away. My friends and I used to come here often and always looked forward to the pies.
