A message from my heart to Wagging Tails. Thank you from the bottom of my heart…read more Wagging Tails has been one of the best decisions I've made for my furbaby, Madam Fifi. From day one, they've been transparent, caring, and always go the extra mile to make sure every dog receives plenty of love and attention. They also understand how much our pets mean to us and are incredibly mindful of pet parents' feelings. A special thank you to Crystal, who has the heart of a teddy bear and treats every pup like her own. James has the perfect balance of structure and compassion--his gentle soul shines through in everything he does. Danny and Jen are amazing caretakers who genuinely love my baby and make me feel completely at ease. I am so grateful for the recommendation that led me to Wagging Tails. Seeing my baby grow, thrive, and be surrounded by such genuine, caring people has been an incredible experience. I couldn't ask for a better team to care for my furbaby.

She got to enjoy a spacious backyard as she has at home and got her pick of comfy, soft beds(including her own) to choose from. I was able to truly relax and have peace of mind while out of the country, knowing that my baby was only a call/ text away. And seeing my furbaby meeting the Easter Bunny and making friends thru Instagram was truly the icing on the cake!!!! I was also lucky to coordinate with her groomer Kerrie to get her back fresh and clean on pickup day. I do have to say that she's so popular that she books up quickly, but if you're planning a vacation it's worth a shot to reach out to Crystal the minute you book your trip. Service provided VS Communication/Pricing…read more Bath/nail trim/ cleaning- all that good stuff for a monthly dog grooming is not something I would argue against here. Dog Planet does well in what it does with getting your pupper all clean as a whistle and I have a husky and they handle his deshedding pretty well. Main thing I am against is communicaiton and pricing, There is a very strong inconsistency is timings provided for all 6 times I brought my dog over. It could be just because of the dog volume, I am not sure but last time when I am bringing my dog to the front counter, I am told 3-4 hours from 10am and and its hitting 3pm and I am told not done and I wouldnt see my dog until 6pm. Other times would be early such as told 4-5 hours but done in 3 hours or all day but done 2 hours after i dropped him off. Its very annoying to where I can't plan the day. Pricing, i think its because I have a large dog of 48 pounds and hes a husky so Im paying around $150+ for him, idk if thats normal pricing for monthly grooming with deshedding. Place is really nice, they bought a second space on further right of the store for their operations for dog cleaning and used their old space for merch.

If I could give this grooming salon ZERO stars, I would. I brought my 7-year-old Chow Chow here for…read morea simple TRIM, and instead, they SHAVED HIS ENTIRE COAT OFF WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Anyone who knows anything about Chow Chows understands that they have a double coat and that shaving them can cause serious problems with coat regrowth. The fact that a professional grooming salon would do this is absolutely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the groomer tried to justify what happened by claiming my dog was matted. That is simply NOT TRUE. I brush my dog daily, take excellent care of his coat, and know exactly what condition his fur was in when I dropped him off. When confronted, she called it a "misunderstanding." How do you misunderstand a simple request for a TRIM and end up shaving an entire dog? My dog is 7 years old and has NEVER been shaved before. His beautiful coat took years to maintain, and now I have no guarantee that it will ever grow back the same way. What makes this even more upsetting is the complete lack of professionalism, judgment, and accountability. As a pet owner, you trust groomers to understand different breeds and follow your instructions, not make drastic, potentially irreversible decisions without your consent. I have before-and-after pictures showing exactly what they did to my dog, and the difference is absolutely heartbreaking. THIS WAS NOT A SMALL GROOMING MISTAKE. THIS WAS A COMPLETE FAILURE TO RESPECT MY INSTRUCTIONS AND MY DOG'S WELL-BEING. I would NEVER bring my dog back here, and I strongly urge other pet owners, especially those with double-coated breeds, to think twice before trusting this establishment.

He is generally very distrustful of humans but loves all the staff that work here (so do we) and gets excited to see them even on the street! He is sad when we walk past Disco Paws when it's not a daycare day. The staff all love him back and are always so accommodating. When our dog goes in for a Disco Day, he is sooo happy to enter the store and pulls to greet whoever is at the register. Does he come home smelling to the high heavens? Yes, yes he does. But is he the happiest boy ever when we check the playroom cam or when we come to pick him up and he has crazy eyes from an exciting day of tussling with his buddies? Yes, yes he is. This review is long overdue! I tried reaching out to so many "famous" and well reputable trainers…read morebased on recommendations and most were either always busy, ridiculously expensive or didn't even provide their services in Queens. I'm so glad that none of the other trainers worked out, because this led me to awesome Yuruani at Dog Liberty LLC. Yuruani is very professional, kind and knowledgeable when it comes to working with dogs. She asked many questions about my dog prior to coming over and we decided to start with the 4 class, in home training package. As soon as she met my 2 years old Pit mix Simba, she knew what needed to be done. She is very caring and attentive and knew how to point Simba to do the right things. I was surprised as to how quick and how well Simba responded to Yuriani. She was also very patient when Simba didn't respond well or gave up. Yuriani is also available for any questions and very flexible when it comes to setting up future sessions. She listened to all the issues I had and we worked on whatever we could during our 4 sessions. It's been a year since Yuri helped us, and I've been able to use everything that she taught me to turn Simba into a better dog. Although there are many things we still need to improve because Simba is a little slow (I still love him). Most importantly, Yuri has taught me ways of understanding and communicating with my dog which I believe is the most important. I highly recommend Yuriani if you are looking for a kind, patient, and knowledgeable dog trainer.

YURI IS AMAZING!!!…read more It is my pleasure to recommend Yuri and Dog Liberty Dog Training Service. We adopted Rosco, a three year old rescue, back in August 2014. He is a great dog but we realized that he was not completely socialized and he needed some training to help him get use to his new home. While walking through our neighborhood, we saw a very well behaved dog and asked their owner about his great skills. They said they used Yuri and that she had worked miracles with her dog. As soon as we got home, we called Yuri. She came over and met us and Rosco. She really asked detailed questions and worked with Rosco for an hour to see what his needs would be. She developed a comprehensive plan and our weekly sessions began. She also gave us a discount for rescuing a dog - which was unexpected but greatly appreciated. Rosco took to Yuri right away and also responded very quickly to training. He responded so quickly that even Yuri calls him Einstein (ok a little parental bragging here). As we went through our sessions, we quickly realized that there were other needs for Rosco and we were able to change and adjust his plan accordingly. Yuri even got her husband involved when Rosco needed to adjust to being around men. He came over with multiple outfits and disguises just to help Rosco get used to being around. On Rosco's last session, they brought him a framed diploma and took pictures of the proud graduate. We hang his diploma with pride Yuri made herself 100% available to us via email, text or phone. She answered any questions we had. She also recommended a great dog walker for us that we use regularly. She also teaches group classes that we regularly attend to also help with Rosco's socialization - he's doing great and we really do owe Yuri so much. She has an easy going, approachable demeanor. She has an abundant love of dogs. She is very smart and is a great yet adaptable trainer. Your dog will be in great hands with Yuri.
