I stopped in to this cocktail bar on my walk home from a smashingly successful collab book release and ran into Luke. There was a crowd at the door and as I walked in he made sure to acknowledge me and invited me to take a seat at the bar. I needed to use the bathroom and he pointed the direction and offered me a menu and asked what I like. I said old fashioned and he mentioned some great bourbon options since all GOOD old fashioneds as are made with bourbon . Anyways when I returned my drink was ready and was made with fantastic ingredients and with a smile! What a great end to a great night. Thanks LUKE!

The red stache is a safe space in the hectic Hell's Kitchen! I absolutely felt so comfortable and welcomed here. Enrique was a FANTASTIC waiter! I had the penicillin and the drink was REALLY good. The vibes of this place was so immaculate. The bathrooms were so clean and the food also was superb! I will be coming back! Especially before/after Broadway shows!

Stopped by for a quick happy hour drink- the house white was SO good!! Loved it so much we asked for the name (although we immediately forgot) lolol. But it was super welcoming, the bartenders were so friendly and we loved the space. Great spot :)

My friends and I stumbled upon The Red Stache and it may be our new favorite bar in NYC. We were looking for somewhere with good drinks and good food if we decided, and we got that perfectly. We were there for happy hour and were told that drinks were BOGO on certain items, which was incredible. We got the Froze (and let me tell you, it was both strong and freezing), but it fit the drink bill. We then each got a rail drink, which was part of the deal. We got a few food items: the pretzel bites, mac and cheese, meatballs, and a chicken sandwich. Hands down the pretzel bites honey mustard butter and mac and cheese were the stars. I could eat the honey mustard butter on its own, it was so good and something I had never had before. The mac and cheese was absolutely delicious, it was creamy and decadent with a nice crust on top. The meatballs were fine, we didn't eat the bread that came with it because it was a little bit hard, and the meatballs good but weren't anything to obsess over. My friend enjoyed the chicken sandwich, and the kettle chips that came with it were good. Service was a little bit slow, staff double as servers and bartenders and even though it wasn't late or packed, we had to waive down our server each time we needed something because he was just hanging behind the bar. We will absolutely be back, we love this place!

I would say this place is a hidden gem! The decor and ambiance is super cozy. I love all the candles inside. This wine bar would be a great date spot. It's not super big inside - there's a bar with maybe 10 stools. There are some tables inside and outside. There's a single stall bathroom in the back. My friend and I tried: - Bread and butter - the caramelized onion butter is so good! I wish the bread was a little more crispy though (but that's my personal preference) - Pork sandwich - this was the best thing we ate all nightly. The pork belly was cooked right and had a good portion. - Carrot tartare - I liked the pita/flatbread that it came with. The actual tartare was light and didn't taste like much. - Shaved Brussel sprout salad - this was my second favorite dish we ate. I Ioved the green apple and charred scallion. We got something else too but I forgot what it was. I got the rosé spritz cocktail - which is a wine based cocktail! It was very refreshing and easy to drink. I would definitely come back! -

However, our ultimate favorite had to be the Thai Crunch Wrap with sweet potato fries. It was fairly busy, and our drinks took a while to come, but the food arrived shortly after. Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. It was a hearty portion - super fresh and flavorful, and honestly more than I could finish (not a complaint!). I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water. It's $25 for unlimited drinks plus food by the way. Which is sad is a deal these days. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.
