This location is a fun vibe in the middle of a courtyard. The food was mid. The salmon sandwich was lit though. You wont be disappointed

Barking Dog delivers great food and consistent service at all their locations. I love to go for brunch. I prefer the location across from my apartment. It's their first location noted for being on the show Sex and the City. If I'm visiting my friends we eat here. I'm recommending.

Staff was kind and super dog friendly. The dog in our party was greeted with treats and water as soon as we sat down! Note, dogs are only permitted in the outside area of the restaurant (heated space). Food was average - all dog-themed or named. I had a hot chocolate with chicken and waffles with the side of bacon. Bacon was delicious, but the chicken and waffles meal was just OK. Syrup tasted like bottled syrup and I didn't really enjoy the combination of the meal with pickled onions and side of habanero jam. Unsure whether I would return here, with so many other dog-friendly options in NYC.

MANHATTAN/Hell's Kitchen: Barking Dog Hell's Kitchen is a must-visit dog-friendly restaurant inside a unique building, and it is all about the dogs. From the moment you step in, the space feels cozy, welcoming, and delightfully dog-themed. The menu features classic American comfort food with thoughtful options for everyone. We loved the Turkey Dog Burger and the Veggie Farm Dog Burger, made with a vegan Beyond patty. The drink menu deserves its own round of applause. If you love coconut, the Pawsome signature cocktail is an absolute must. Hands down one of the best drinks we have ever had. Also, there is a great pup menu and Brie devoured the chicken breast bowl with white rice and veggies. If you bring your dog any day between 4-10pm, you can get 50% off cocktails, margaritas, and frozen sangria. They are open daily from 8am-10pm, serving every meal from breakfast through dinner. Leashed and friendly dogs are welcome on the patio year-round. During the colder months, the patio is fully enclosed and heated, making it comfortable no matter the season. Be sure to check in with the host about additional seating options. The service is outstanding. It was a pleasure meeting Pamela, the manager, and Oni, our server. Both were incredibly attentive and clearly committed to creating the best experience for humans and pups alike. Helpful tips for dining with your dog can be found on their website: https://barkingdognyc.com/new-york-hells-kitchen-barking-dog-tips-for-doggie-dining Other locations include the Upper East Side and even North Carolina.

My friends and I came here for an early dinner. We were seated upon arrival inside as it was raining outside. Food: I got a pear and avocado salad that I enjoyed. It came with plenty of both! I would order it again. Service: Service was a little slow as we were the first of the dinner service. Our server was friendly though. TL;DR - Good salad with decent service

Quick stop in the city quick google search quick bite. Simple easy good. Great service. Great location. Very clean. Would have been perfect but was not a fan of the chicken wings. I think they were frozen which not a fan of otherwise everything else was on point!

Very dog friendly restaurant located on top of the New World Stages This street level restaurant has a large outdoor seating area and welcomes dogs. The indoor seating area is smaller. The cocktails are good. The food is acceptable, nothing was outstanding. This is a solid dining option if you are with your dog or seeing a show at a nearby theater. The service was attentive. There is a 3% service charge if you pay with a credit card.

Honestly...WAY BETTER than I expected...it's the kind of food that you would eat even if you weren't in the mood for it. They have so many options on the menu that there is a choice for everyone! They even are dog friendly and have food for your dog (that's actually healthy for your pet) they also have vegetarian and vegan options for people! The service was great! Food came out at either a decent time or faster than expected or than usual orders are...the waiters and waitresses were quiet but I honestly think that worked well with the speed. The decorations were pleasant, very nice place, had plants and umbrellas on the outside and it looked like a tiki bar on the inside...it had a bunch of dog decorations. I would definitely recommend this to dog lovers and foodies!

We stopped by for a family brunch last Saturday, and the setting couldn't have been more perfect. The restaurant is tucked inside a charming pavilion with a fountain, and since the fall weather was ideal, we opted to sit outside. We had a reservation, but I noticed they were able to seat plenty of people without one too. For food, we ordered the spinach and feta omelette with a side of fruit, salmon avocado toast, and the Nashville fried cod with fries. Our meal was either a hit or a miss. The Nashville fried cod was absolutely delicious--crispy, light, and not overly spicy. The fresh fruit was truly fresh and flavorful. However, the misses were the spinach and feta omelette, which was under-seasoned and bland, and the salmon avocado toast, which my husband found equally underwhelming. While some dishes fell short, I lucked out with the fried cod and would definitely recommend it!

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. Delaney's drinks are personality-packed, with her behind the bar, the place doesn't just serve drinks -- it gets its personality back. It's a place off 8th ave where fitness meets fun, and every corner feels like home--complete with friendly staff who know your name (or at least your size) and are always ready to offer a witty comeback or a perfect recommendation. Cheers!

Taking off a star because I had a weird experience with the people at the front. I'm currently recovering from an injury and I'm in a pretty obvious neck brace. I was visiting with two people who were on their way and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes and the people at the front told me I couldn't be seated until they arrived. I understand that this is normal protocol, but I pointed out my neck brace and asked if an exception could be made because it's significantly more comfortable for me to sit down (and there was no room at the bar). They said that their manager wouldn't let them do that, and that they couldn't seat me until the rest of my party was there. There were tons of table tables available the entire time and when my friend arrived about 12 minutes later, they seated us, I totally could've sat the whole time and it wouldn't have been a problem. Not the end of the world and I probably could've pushed it harder, but it definitely was a little awkward!

We reserved for a quick bite at Redeye Grill before catching Dog Day Afternoon on Broadway, but as soon as we walked up, some bouncer told us they were closed for a private wedding reception. We were dazed and confused because how was I able to reserve online? But the real plot twist was that it ended up being the best thing that happened. We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. My cocktail had passion fruit, so of course I asked my usual question: "But is it real passion fruit?" He just nodded in agreement and that told me everything I needed to know. That drink was legit and had nice strength. The food was great too. My fish tacos were packed with fresh fish, the guacamole and salsa were chunky and full of flavor and hubs enjoyed his pastrami sandwich. The shepherd's pie is insanely salty and it's very off-putting. It was inedible. I was looking forward to having it but I would not in good faith recommend this to anyone. The buttermilk tenders is supposed to come with pickled shallots and marinated green beans. We didn't get the pickled shallots or the marinated green beans, which was a shame. The chicken tenders by themselves didn't have much flavor. It also is unfortunate paying $17 for what was considered a small plate and just getting the chicken tenders. The Asian-sesame wings were okay. Also, didn't have much flavor and weren't that impressive. There was also still hair on some of the pieces of chicken, so the chicken could have been cleaned better. They have fries and hand cut fries. The regular fries were soggy. Should have went with the hand cut fries. The tater tots were okay. I was told that the chicken sandwich was good. It came with a little side of rustic chips. I would not come back for the food but I would possibly go back to try a drink if I was in the area. The drink menu looked pretty good.

The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend. If you have a big group, have some common sense and book a reservation, but likely able to do walk-ins for small groups, couples, or singles easily. This is a great option for laid back vibes in HK.
