This is a take out place with prepared food item that are delicious. Everything except the salads, which are tasty and fresh, you should heat up to eat. They also make salads to order when you are at the facility. The main business is meal delivery. But for us it was great to pick a healthy and great tasting lunch for hiking and picnic. read more

Check in for a free cookie! They had a few options when I was here and they are huge cookies! I had a snickerdoodle that was soft and delicious. The menu is very limited, but that probably helps them maintain quality ingredients. I had the roasted vegetable cobb salad with chicken. The mixed greens were fresh, the toppings were abundant (egg, bacon, bleu cheese, roasted peppers and squash, tomatoes), and the balsamic dressing was very good. The atmosphere here is very nice and they have a few large tables on the patio. The staff was friendly and the baked good selection is pretty good! Food tastes AMAZING- from the bbq chicken to the Mac and cheese, desserts, everything was great! They have entrees, sides, soups, salads and desserts all labeled with use/freeze by dates so you can buy meals a few days out.. At first the prices seemed a bit steep but with how outrageously expensive groceries are right now, it's honestly cheaper for me to eat here instead of making some of these meals at home. read more

They're not just for lunch events anymore!! Red Radish has started a take home dinner service. They make southern gourmet fare. The service is friendly and quick. Take home a full meal and pop it in the oven for about 30 minutes. It is a great way to have a home cooked family dinner when you're short on time and don't want to go out to eat. read more

The Red Radish is a catering only business, but if they opened a restaurant I would be a regular for sure! I've had the opportunity to have the Red Radish for several catered lunches for work and they are absolutely amazing! Each day they have a set menu for hot lunches and you just tell them how many people you need to feed. The lunch is buffet style and they provide a salad, meat entree, side, dessert, and lemonade and tea. I've had many Red Radish lunches but I don't think I've ever had the same thing twice. Fortunately all of their food is outstanding and I've never had anything I don't like. Their salad is the only thing that doesn't change and it's incredible. The lettuce is a spring mix and they have all kind of delicious toppings including sunflower seeds, mandarin oranges, and craisins and at least 2 dressings to choose from. The zesty ranch dressing they serve is awesome! The meat and sides area always delightful. I think the last time I had Red Radish the meat was roasted turkey with gravy. Delicious! And the best part of the meal is the dessert. They have a wide variety of cakes they serve and all of them are to die for! My work caters lunches for some of our customers and the customers request Red Radish every time. When we're eating the room always gets extremely quiet except for the intermittent yums and mmmms. You know that part of your job description that says "and other duties as assigned," well recently I volunteered to plan two Holiday parties for a Director on Maternity leave in offices in areas without a lot of resources available. I started searching for the perfect meal options and found that Red Radish does in deed deliver to both areas. I sent an email, they sent a menu, I ordered and they delivered. What was awesome was it was full-service delivery including plates, ices, cups, plastic, dessert, drinks and the food. While it was a tad more per person than we normally pay for catering considering I didn't have to do anything I felt it was perfect. The first party was in Marion. The menu was pork tenderloin in a scrumptious sauce, mac n cheese that was cheesy, creamy and delightful; perfectly sautéed green beans; light rolls; butter and their famous salad with the dressing I could literally drink. The delivery was timely and the delivery person was smiling. The food was hot and was so well boxed for delivery. For dessert we ordered the pumpkin cheesecake and a chocolate peppermint Bundt cake. The desserts weren't as good as the rest but they weren't anything to complain about either. The second party was in Forest City. The menu was BBQ (this wasn't my favorite) mac n cheese (again cheesy, creamy goodness) green beans, apple pie, chocolate peppermint Bundt cake and the Red Radish salad. The apple pie was amazing. The rest was the same as the day before except to me the chicken just wasn't that appealing. So the next time you get assigned other duties and they include catering order from Red Radish. read more

Contacted Marcus in the a.m., and by 6:00 p.m. we had an AMAZING dinner for 24 people. Blueberry Barbecue chicken, macaroni and cheese, broccoli, fresh bread and a salad to die for! And the desserts!! There was carrot cake, cobbler and peaches and cream cake. It was for an impromptu but very special event, and because we were dining outside, Red Radish provided all the necessary accoutrement. The doctor's office I work at routinely gets Red Radish catered in for lunch, when pharmaceutical reps come in to discuss their products. Usually, what they send is ok, but probably 8 out of 10 times, when we get chicken, it is not fully cooked. This is highly inappropriate and unacceptable for a catering business. read more
