Crispy fries to the left--yummy, the globs of inedible fat in the short rib sandwich to the right.

Food- disgusting. Service- terrible. Drops the plate on the table, no napkin, fork etc. Ask for ketchup for fries, never returns. Ask for box never returns. 1 other couple at the entire restaurant. Are you for real?????

The Salmon is amazing We also loved the bruschetta. The wait staff is excellent and very knowledgeable. This place is a must try. You won't regret it. Cute little place

Tiny serving of beef stew for $27

Went last year for St. Patricks Day and it was great - this year's meal was REALLY disappointing. The Irish beef stew used to be thick and super filling, but this year they didn't even fill up a tiny to-go cup the whole way. Less beef in it and not very thick. Not worth $27 for such a small portion. I was genuinely looking forward to Raven's Nest beef stew this year, so this is a shock. Won't be coming back next year.

Buffalo Chicken Salad and Nachos

Buffalo chicken salad, was good! Started with the chili tacos, did not disappoint! Paired with a perfect aperol spritz. Love that this has different seasonal special drinks and food items! Extremely friendly wait staff!

The best thing I ate -- the bruschetta.

Great drinks and great staff, but the food seemed to take an hour to make it to our table.... And we only got a few apps. The pear martini was delightful, strong, and big, the espresso martini was sweet and yummy and strong and not made with any coffee. The wicked hot wings were wicked hot. So hot you don't feel like finishing them. The bruschetta was baller!!! So good. The Mac and cheese with cinnamon should have been much much cheesier.

Pistachio Chicken

It's a fun and lively place that has several seating options (bar, dining room and outdoor patios). I've eaten here several times and have to say that you should come here hungry. The servings are large and there is plenty of variety. To be honest, everything thing I've tried has been delicious. I'd recommend giving the pistachio chicken a try. The flavor combination is well done and it has a nice diversity in texture with the smoothness of the mashed potatoes and the crunch of the pistachios as well as the crispness of the asparagus. The shepherds pie is a flavorful favorite for a cool fall or cold winter day. The burgers come with fries that look like they are all bonus fries. The drink selection is decent and the pour sizes are generous. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and friendly. My only critique would be that it can be a little on the loud side but certainly not overwhelming. In closing, it's consistent good food, friendly service, and prices that seem reasonable. I'd recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for a few drinks and/or you want to add some delicious fare with friendly, knowledgeable service at a fair price.

The Ravens Nest has some of the BEST staff in the business and one of the primary reasons we return! Mark the owner is great! The bartenders are wonderful! Brittany, Rachel & Shaina are friendly, outgoing, attentive and make fabulous cocktails!!! The food is always consistent and always very good! They have your typical pub fare but also some really great main courses!! They offer rotating specials that are also always excellent!!!!!

Great food and great service!! The "patio" is a bit merged with the sidewalk but was still nice to sit in the sun. Staff was super friendly and attentive

We are a fan of their Pistachio Chicken and their Chicken Wings. We constantly look for excuses to go there.

Great food. No enough bar space however. Lots of young kids on weekends. It's ok. Good sandwiches.

Just disappointed they no longer serve Sangria. My wife had the last of it. Guys put it back on the menu. Please and thank you. I believe your customers will appreciate it. My wife and I included. I'll say it again Umaka and Amy....I swear they should do a training video on how it should be done. Food insanely fresh and tasty ( dry rub wings and turkey wrap - don't hesitate, just order it. You WILL NOT be disappointed. Would've taken pics but got it to go after our drinks and demolished it all when my wife and I got home......sorry not sorry sooooo good!!! Our server was super sweet and very knowledgeable about the menu. We started with fries and fried pickles for appetizers. The fried pickles were long, flat ovals with a lot of breading. They were good, but probably not something we'd order again. Everything else was very flavorful. Our server recommended the brisket grilled cheese and it was amazing. We also tried the pizza special of the day -- some slices were cooked a little more than others, but it was still good overall. We would definitely come back!

I went to Limey's Pub in Norwood on a Wednesday evening, in search of some "proper" beer and fish n…read morechips and some atmosphere, while it rained outside. The weather, the beer, the food and a fun barmaid in a wood paneled pub are all single qualifies that makes me harken back to my past, living in London and then in North Wales in the 1980s. And the other patrons, Americans all, still were like an American version of an English pub crowd. There were young and old, posh business types, sitting next to manual laborers.. The barmaid (whose name was known by most of the regulars there, although I have forgotten it (alas I must be getting old!) is a pistol. Always chatting and joking, while she poured pints, and even Bells scotch, which is a standard blend found in just about every pub in England. The only sense that was missing was the ubiquitous scent of wood (oak) found in almost all of the pubs in Britain. That unmistakable scent you can find in the many old (generally Irish) pubs around Faneuil Hall, btw. When I asked the barmaid (always smiling and laughing) about the fish n chips, she gave a wink and said "ooh, Love. Ya picked the best day for that. The fish is delivered from the dock every Wednesday." I ordered a pint of Smithwicks ale to enjoy at the bar, as she took my order for fish n chips. She leaned forward and whispered to me, somewhat conspiratorially, that it's served with salad, as the owner has not yet found a coleslaw recipe that meets his standards. Very evocative again. I watched, listened and drank my ale deeply, as the barmaid described another barmaid as "so wonderful, the only thing missing is there should be two of her!" We all nodded and laughed. Fun place. The fish n chips arrived hot, very fresh and perfectly crunchy with beer batter. The chips (fries) were hand cut, as you could see the small bits of potato skin at the ends. Served with a very attractive and crunchy salad, and of course malt vinegar, it was a bargain at a lower price than the $20+ charged at many local watering holes. I ordered another pint, and then dug in. It was very fresh and somewhat thick piece cod. The flesh of the fish separates into large fleshy flakes under the crispy beer batter, and the chips had flavor (as opposed to the more common extruded fries usually found here). But it's more than just the food and the bar. The atmosphere at this pub is so very real--sort of the best aspects of some nice neighborhood cozy pubs in Britain. If it's cold outside, you can just shamble in, and rub your hands together and mutter "lovely" as you savor your drink and food. Welcome!

Not Bad Limey's has…read morethat warm, friendly, neighborhood feel you expect to find in pubs across the pond. Our waitress was extremely friendly, and happily answered all questions about the menu and pub. She told us they have live music 2 nights a week (seasonally, I think), a weekly specials' menu, a pool table with specials' nights, and even board games available for patrons to use. The atmosphere is casual with wooden dining tables on one side, a long high table with multiple high seating running through the center of room and a long bar along the inside wall. There's a pool table in the rear. Tables had nice space between them; we didn't feel crowded in. The menu had all the modern pub favorites plus a list of chef's specials for the week featuring "an ingredient of the week". Thanks
