Pepperoni

The restaurant is open! Well only the bar area. Very limited seating but there's a whole restaurant ready and not up and running. This was a dismal visit- supporting evidence: 1. Immediately told 1.5 hours for a pizza. I asked why. Our waitress multiple times during this trip eluded to an issue but didn't tell us what the issue was ???? 2. Our waitress needs a new job. Waitressing isn't for her. She forgot my daughters Shirley Temple and then she forgot one of the apps we ordered. She wouldn't fess up to it but both times we had to remind her after a good amount of time after everyone else's drinks/food were delivered to the table. 3. The Garlic parm wings were delivered to the table with shaved parmesan. Ok great start! But there was zero flavor on the wings. And we eat wings a lot. Where's the garlic?? 4. This is purely a preference thing but don't lay my mozzarella sticks in a puddle of marinara! Not everyone likes marinara. 5. The onion strings. Great serving size but again, lacking seasoning to make it great! Also, inconsistent batch. Some super thick. Some super thin. Also, did we get the bottom of a batch? All broken pieces covered the bottom of our plate, like over cooked. 6. Due to the wait were had appetizers there and ordered pizza to go (our 4 year old was reaching his time limit at a restaurant.) The pizza's- the crisp on the crust is exactly what all bar pizza's should be like. But why are they being cheap with the sauce. Almost dry. Laced- we are rooting for you!

I made a planned stop at Laced on my way home from some weekday Christmas shopping. Located right on Rt 1 it is easy to find with plenty of parking. Place is very clean with a lot of seating a big bar and an area with a couple of pool tables. The place was surprisingly empty for a Friday at peak lunch time. I sat at the bar and the bartender couldn't have been nicer. Had a great conversation while I waited for my pizza. I ordered the Patriot no mushrooms. Pizza came out in about 20 min, which allowed me to enjoy my beer. The pizza was really good. The sausage was the star but everything on this pizza complimented each other perfectly. The peppers were sliced perfectly so they cooked just right. I thought they forgot the onions, i could taste them but I couldn't see them, Found them later diced up small enough for flavor but not eating onions. I am glad I stopped here. But a funny, good funny, thing happened on my way home. I brought about half the pizza home with me, but it never actually made it into the house about an hour after eating the first half. I started to eat the second half and the pizza had so much flavor I couldn't stop eating it. the flavors had married together while it cooled. If you like south shore bar style pizza or just pizza in general you should give this place a try.

Visited a few weeks ago, fantastic local pub. Pizza was phenomenal, and cooked to perfection with a perfect amount of toppings. Service was top notch, too! A must try for locals or people coming by for a game/event at Gillette!

Excellent service, nice draft beef perfect temperature, head . Laced pizza was very good bar style. Menu looked all good. I'll eat again for sure... hot honey pepperoni with nice laced edges...

The good: Great bar style pizza, hand cut fries, onion Strings, and mozzarella sticks (for my son). We also tried wings which were fried well but the garlic parm sauce lacked flavor. I would definitely try another flavor. All apps came out in a quick fashion. The food runner was great. The bad: 90 min wait time for pizza, they let us know up front so at least we were aware. Our waitress struggled!! Not personable, forgot items (several times), forgot to check on us. Not her day it seemed. Probably still working out the kinks. Rooting for this place!!

Meat Sweats pizza

Food was good. Service was awesome and everyone was very nice. The restaurant was cozy and clean.

Fat Mac pizza

Tried Laced last night with my family while watching the AFC Championship. Lots of TVs in the bar area to watch any sort of game! We got 2 pizzas, onion strings, and a burger and everything was excellent! The fat Mac pizza reminded me of the cheeseburger pizza they used to serve at the Red Wing, so good! Will definitely be back!

Pizza just awesome End of rant

Outstanding New England food and hospitality…read more The steak tips were the best I've ever had -- perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and tender. The crinkle-cut fries were fried to crispy perfection. The quahog and chowder get a true New England stamp of approval (I grew up here and now live in the Philly area, so I know what I'm talking about). The fish and chips portions were enormous, golden, crispy, and delicious. Even though the inside was packed, the staff cranked up the heaters and gave us the patio all to ourselves, which was a great touch and showed how much they care about their guests. The place has a classic New England feel, bringing back memories of growing up camping at Normandy Farms down the road. The owners were welcoming and genuinely hospitable, which really set this place apart. Fantastic food, nostalgic vibes, and top-notch hospitality. On to see the Tom Brady statue -- Go Pats!

The food and service were not up to snuff, as our waitress was rather slow and inattentive. The salad I ordered was STILL not correct in that it featured items which I specifically asked to be removed. I did note that my salad was brought out in a bowl and not a sheet pan, which was an improvement over last time. The thing was that there were less than 10 people in the restaurant at the time as we arrived around noontime and I would have thought that the waitstaff would have had the time to attend to us in a proper fashion, but they were content to mill about close to the bar area. The drinks were OK and though not spectacular, were still good and met with my expectations. Apparently, management has yet to take appropriate steps to ensure that the waitstaff is attentive and the food is brought out properly. My wife ordered things that were more in line with this restaurant's strengths and she thought everything was fine, but as with the last time I was here, it seemed that little attention was paid to dishes that are not fried or battered in some way. While I realize that it is impossible to be all things to all people, when I order something at a restaurant, I expect it to be perfect considering the prices. All in all, I will not be returning to this place unless some serious improvements are made not only in the quality of the dishes, but in the attentiveness of the staff.

Located in the large Patriots Place complex, full of shopping and many restaurants, it can be a bit of a walk from the parking area. The exterior and interior are just as we remember. A hostess greeted us at the door and sat us immediately with menus. Menu is the same as last visit. Lots of Asian and Mexican influened dishes along with pizza. Menus are a hard cover, book style and the pages are showing their age. We got two half sheet pizzas. Each can easily feed four people. The mozzerella on the Margarita was rubbery this time around. That may happen because of hot 'pizza oven' temps or it could just be low quality. I reheated some left overs on low heat and the cheese did melt OK and had less of a rubbery texture. The crust is thick and crisp on the bottom. The tomato sauce is sweet. The second pizza was a buffalo chicken. It was plenty spicy, lots of cheese, nice drizzle. Not much chicken. All in all it was a tasty pizza. Restrooms are clean. Service good. Plenty of shared parking.

I have to admit I was disappointed in my visit to this establishment. I had heard good things about…read moreit & the parking lot was always full, so I was optimistic. Decor wise, there's not much to write home about. Outdated with lots of wood but, hey, it's a pub. Which is why I didn't expect fancy restaurant prices. The evening started out fine. Our friendly young server brought us a basket of warm Irish soda bread with real Irish butter, which was delicious. Our water was served in cute logo glasses. Strangely enough, the beverage menu listed wine prices but not cocktail prices. And we wanted Margaritas, which weren't listed. When we asked our server, she immediately said they didn't offer them. Since they have a full bar, we asked why. I honestly don't think she knew what a Margarita was. She said she'd ask the bartender & came back to tell us they could make them. We asked the price. Again, she had to find out... $12. We agreed, but when she returned with two drinks in Old Fashioned glasses, I refused mine. The drink was literally 4 sips! My dining companion kept hers & said it was nicely made but not worth the price. I ordered a ginger ale instead ($3). We both ordered fish & chips ($21) and, again, were disappointed with what we received for the price. The chips appeared to be hand cut & were tasty, but the small, thin fish fillets were breaded in what I believe was cornmeal. Edible but certainly not what you'd expect from an Irish pub. Where's the beer batter? Neither of us liked the tiny cup of coleslaw. Afterwards, we asked for a dessert menu. Again, no prices. There were three desserts & several coffee drinks listed. We opted for Irish coffees ($13) and were pleased with the coffee, whiskey, brown sugar and fresh whipped cream concoctions. With tax & tip, the total bill came to $105.76, way too much for this kind of place. And, they ended up charging us $13 for that mini-Margarita. Whatever. We won't be back.

Having prior experience with this establishment, I departed today with a sense of disappointment…read more My companion and I both ordered the fish and chips; however, the portion sizes did not meet my previous expectations. The coating was not the traditional batter but rather a crusted layer of bread crumbs. Typically, Irish or English pub-style fish and chips are prepared with a beer batter to achieve a crispy crust, a preparation I believe I previously enjoyed at this venue. Consequently, this was a notable disappointment. Additionally, when requesting two margaritas, the waitress informed us that they do not serve margaritas. While I understand that it is an Irish pub rather than a Mexican establishment, it is a fully licensed bar and pub. We did ask her to request it from the bartender, which was produced. Although it was good, size matters; it was a 4oz drink. Not worthy of a $13.00 price tag. Regarding portion size and pricing, the fish and chips were quite expensive, especially considering the limited portion size. My recollection is that in the past, the portions were sizable enough to share, but not so much now. Lastly, my observation is that many restaurants, once renowned for excellent cuisine, have exchanged flavor and portion size for profit. Giving customers less and increasing prices threefold. This is a pub, not an elegant establishment. I felt the prices were higher with less product for your money. I awarded two stars because the Irish soda bread was delicious, and the Irish coffee was quite exceptional.
