Went at 6pm on a monday and it was pretty dead. We were seated right away. Drinks and meals came out promptly. My burger didnt have an ingredient it was supposed to have and had cheese on it which was not in the description. Wasn't too big of and issue and I was tired so I didn't complain. I do have to say the prices here have gone way up in the past few years. Used to be a good place to go for a quick bite, but it now costs $19 just for a burger. A nice hidden little gem in a small strip mall in Mansfield. An authentic Irish flair with very friendly staff. It is not that big so it can get loud. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were friendly and attentive. They played off each other so you never waited long for something. A ton of beers on tap to choose from as well as some interesting mixed drinks. The menu offered some good Irish meals as well as a bunch of other options. My wife is doing Keto and they didn't blink an eye. They made everything to her liking and she ate it all. My Tullamore burger was perfectly cooked and the fries nice and crispy. We will be back. Went for lunch on Friday and were promptly seated next to the fireplace. It was a bit of a "raw" day so seating location was perfect Hubby had a porter and since I was on my way to work I opted for a soda water with lime My meal was a fried country basket with chicken tenders coleslaw and fries and Hubs had the Reuben Our meals were perfect and quite tasty. First time trying this place, and I loved it. We didn't drink there, we went for lunch. We both had burgers, and they were exceptional. Service was friendly, fast, and constant. The only reason it's not five stars instead of four is the cost. The burgers ranged from 18 to 20 bucks, depending on the toppings. This is a great craft beer bar with 40 quality beers on tap. The prices were actually quite reasonable given the quality and eclectic selection of styles and brands. While they have traditional food on menu like fish and chips, they are not deep in this regard: I.e. No Shepard's pie. This is more pub food than a full on Irish menu like you might get in Boston...not that there is anything wrong with that. This is a wonderful neighborhood place. My gluten-free wife ordered a burger and they had gluten free buns. She opted for the bed of lettuce, and they provided a generous bed of green under a nicely cooked, medium rare burger. I ordered the Irish spring role and it was tasty and filling: better to share as it is a lot of food for one. I appreciated the fast, customer-centric service. This day I was in the mood for a nice Ruben sandwich and decided that I may find what I was looking for at an Irish Pub restaurant. There were two friendly guys working the bar and floor when we arrived My guest ordered the burger of the month and was told it was pretty good. Of course I ordered the Ruben that I set out for. The plate looked great, the disappointment came when I bit into my sandwich -I'm sorry to say it was deli corned beef round, which is bland and suffers in flavor. I wish they cooked their own corned beef. For this reason I would give them 3.5 They offer a large selection of craft beers I had a draft from Amherst Brewery -Jess - it was ok- wouldn't reorder. read more

My house mates and I came here on a Monday as they have $.35 wing night. We placed an order for 50 wings however the waitress only brought us 40. Slight error that she corrected. The wings came out quick and hot and with the additional orders later, again quick and hot. Waitress was very attentive. All in all, a good time and a nice atmosphere. I did not have an opportunity to use the ladies room, so I can't account for it's cleanliness. The parking area, restaurant and out side were all well maintained and clean. Love this Irish pub!! My friend and I stopped in here before the Morgan Wallen concert to get some food and drinks. I loved the feel of the place as it reminded me of a really friendly neighborhood bar. The bartender was very sweet and attentive. The honey BBQ chicken tenders I ordered were juicy and had the perfect amount of breading. I am giving Flynn's Pub two stars bevasue the food used to be good. However, last week, my wife and I ordered the same meals (chicken caesar wrap and homemade chips). To summarize, the food was not good. The chicken was "too chewy," and the chips were over-cooked, dry, and tasteless. I then emailed the manager (twice!) and suggested that they could do better. I was not harsh or over-critical. When the manager did not reply, I then realized that we would not be returning there. There is no excuse for poor customer service. read more

My friends and I have been visiting Flynn's for 6+ years. My mouth waters thinking of their unique specialty burgers like the "Sligo" and my friend loves the "Feckin Peppa". Sad to see the restaurant has downsized their menu (and the restaurant itself) and no longer offers some of their awesome specialty burgers. No more Sligo or Feckin Peppa. Their burger options were just typical burgers you can get at any restaurant. Somehow on a Saturday night, the "special" of the evening was straight up a Plain Cheeseburger.. that's it! Their beer menu is smaller. At 7:30 on a Saturday night the place was half empty, and that's even after half of the restaurant has been closed off. The cozy fireplace wasn't even on. Their huge specialty burgers use to cost $12. Now what burgers remain range from $15-$18. The Bergin, a plain burger with no cheese, use to be $9.... it is now $13! With NO cheese! The plates have also been changed to small little trays, for your smaller servings. Worst of all, when I asked the waitress for the Sligo, she scoffed and responded "oh no, we don't offer that anymore! It was HUGE and takes up too much room on the grill! That's THREE sandwiches they gotta cook for one meal!" Like... lady I know I'm ordering a 8,000-calorie burger but can you still not fat-shame me please. I would pay $20+ for that bad boy. My friends live near Boston and traveled to visit one of their old favorite restaurants. We were all super bummed at the diminished offerings but increased prices. I get it... recession/ inflation There's no reason for us to visit this restaurant anymore as it no longer offers the unique food we loved. read more

This review is for our drinks only. They are currently operating with limited seating both inside and out. Staff is very attentive. They constantly check on you and make sure you don't need a refill. Some of the drink combinations seemed strange in an Irish Pub, but we enjoyed what we ordered. Our friend ordered food and thought they could use some improvement there. read more

They have a monthly beer special ($6) and burger of the month ($8.99). My husband had the Cashel burger (pretzel roll, garlic butter on roll, parmesan cheese and cheese burger) I had the patty melt - both were properly cooked to our requested medium rare. Irish Pub with a huge beer list and even bigger bar! I stuck to the BBC extra pale ale and had the tasty "wicked pickles". There is a separate dining room if you prefer not to sit at the bar. There was excellent live acoustic music being played and all of the staff were very friendly. The restroom was clean. The only downside? Tiny parking lot that is shared with neighboring business. I had a great dinner tonight at Flynn's. But before I get to that I really enjoyed the cold, creamy, delicious Guinness. Both were a nice pour with that creamy head you expect to see. For dinner we enjoyed the Ruben, a cheeseburger and a Cesar salad with steak tips. Everyone's meal was well cooked and flavorful. Not sure if it's the heat or the three Widowmakers or what, but I think this might be the best patty melt (PattyFlynn) I have ever had. It was cooked to exactly a medium rare, as I requested. It was super flavorful and the grilled onions were just right, not too much or over powering! Oh and the house fries were crispy and fried to a golden brown!! He outdoor seating wasn't crowded and it was nice to enjoy the outdoors while savoring a delicious burger. I will definitely be back! Living down the street is a huge plus! Went here right as they opened for the day....my friend and I had a great experience! Beer selection was good, the food was excellent as well. I got the fish sandwich, and it was basically the size of an entire fish! I'm a big fried fish person, and this was so delicious... super crispy on the outside but flaky and soft on the inside. I'll definitely be coming here again! Kudos to the bartender too... wish I had gotten his name to give him credit, but if you see a bartender with a big beard, he's an awesome guy. Amazing food! Amazing staff! Definitely making the 1hour and a half ride back!!!

I have been going here for last 4 years on and off but with travel restrictions it has been 18 months since last visit. Unfortunately things seem to have deteriorated. Beer selection is now limited with no stouts or porters other than Guinness and this used to have multiple craft brew options. All IPAs are 12oz pour now for $7-$9. The food has also become much more expensive, with the burgers going from $10-$13 when I last visited to $17! Look at menu photos on this site. I had fish and chips on my visit and was unimpressed, although fish was good the batter was not and chips were barely warm for $19. I don't know if business is struggling post-pandemic but raising prices and cutting quality and selection does not seem like a good approach to getting healthy. Please get 'The Feckin Pepper' back on menu as it was a great burger that made your eyes water as well as your mouth! Hope it gets back to 'normal' soon as otherwise I won't be visiting when in Mansfield.. read more

It gets 3 stars because the food is still decent, but it used to be phenomenal, unlike any burger I had ever had with it's unique seasoning and toppings.
