Just visited The Quynh Cafe & It's so cute and authentic to Vietnamese desserts and drinks! The Coconut Pandan Waffle is soooooo good that we had to order another one. Their cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese coffee) is very concentrated & you can ask for more/less condensed depending on your preferred sweetness! The bánh flan (caramel flan) is very creamy & not too sweet and comes in the cutest ramekin! I also got the rau má & đậu xanh (pennywort & mung bean drink) as well as the hazelnut butter coffee. The rau má drink was so refreshing, not too sweet but not bitter at all, just a great blend of tart and sweetness. The hazelnut butter coffee was similar to the original cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese coffee) but there is a slight difference which you can taste, either way both were great! The aesthetics and set up was also SO CUTE! The aesthetics are definitely great for cute pics. The staff was very nice, didn't rush us to order, and brought the desserts & drinks to us. RECOMMENDED!!! My go to order for this spot is Original Milk Tea Boba. Great people and fantastic service. I'm a regular here I try going every weekend. I had lost my wallet and they brought it back home. Super helpful. Honestly if I could give more stars I would. Can't thank them enough!! Ambiance itself is very chill and relaxed. My mom loves the avocado smoothie (not to sweet, just about right ), my brother always gets the taro coconut smoothie with boba (so good), I get the Rau ma (Vietnamese pennywort drink) always so good and has alot of health benefits! This place is legit expensive but it is LEGIT. Iced hazelnut butter milk coffee will set you back $7.50 but O. M. G. This baby packs an intense kick! No watered-down iced coffee here! Menu says it's made with real hazelnuts so beware if you have nut allergies. The coffee itself is STRONG but the hazelnut butter and milk bring on a smooth finish. The sweetness was just right too. Absolutely delicious. $8.50 for Che Thai?!?! Can you say "sticker shock"? But this is not your typical Che Thai you get at any other place. First, the flavor. If you're expecting an overly sweet Nestle Strawberry milk-like base, you're going to be disappointed. This dessert here is a flavor trip. It's full on coconut milk with a dash of salt. It's thick, it's smooth, and it's well balanced. The owner claims they use top quality ingredients. I believe it! There's no mushy fruit in this bad boy. The agar jellies have the right chew and the fruits have the right bite. And for the durian lovers, it comes with a serving of durian on top! Durian in Che Thai is a first for me but it works! This place replace what used to be greatea and the interior is very nice. When you first walk in, the place will remind you of a small alley way in Vietnam with an older lady greeting you and asked if you needed any help. Our family came here on a Tuesday afternoon and the place was pretty much empty. We ordered some Vietnamese desserts and drinks. The Che was pretty good but the drinks are a little lacking in flavors. We also ordered the pandan waffle which a lot of my friends bragged about how good it is. I feel like they used too much food coloring and the waffle was lacking in the natural taste and smell. Overall, I do highly recommend this place due to there are so many milk tea joint in Georgia but very little Vietnamese style coffee house. I came to study at Quynh Cafe and had a blast. It is a decent sized cafe where there is accommodations for big groups and individuals. The decor is so cute, customer service is top tier and their music choice had me singing along . I would highly recommend coming here and I loved the drinks I ordered ( Vietnamese coffee and a pina colada smoothie). We got the sweet soup dessert thing (can't recall the actual name) and it was just what my husband wanted. I got a red tea with passion fruit, which was also pretty good and not overly sweet. Hubby was overjoyed to see they had flan, so we got some as well. He never managed to eat the flan. So, my toddler and I gave it a try. To our surprise, it seems to be a coffee based flan. Maybe this is a traditional Vietnamese version with the coffee, and I just never knew about it until now. I'm accustomed to the Latin dessert. Never had the coffee flavor but it wasn't bad. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I have read the reviews about this place, and I understand why there are bad reviews. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. The owner lady, she was verbally abused us. We actually saw the sign outside which says "Minimum 1 order for 1 customer for DINE-IN." We had 5 people and just order 1 drink 1 waffles because the rest of us don't want any caffeine. We placed an order and were waiting for the food. The decoration was really cute so we were taking pictures while waiting for our waffle. But she told us: "This place is open for business, not for people like you come here to just order 2 drinks and taking pictures, you have to buy more to keep staying in this place." At first, we thought it was our fault so we were about to apologize but then she said:"If you still have conscience, you are not gonna give me 1 star after i'm saying these." We just wanted to get our waffle and leave but she kept saying that again and again, and our waffle was still not ready even we've been waiting for 10-15 minutes since she started complaining. We left without the waffle because she kept bragging on how slow the business goes and assumed that because of people like us make her business going down. It's strong and delicious. What's also worth mentioning is the outstanding customer service. We typically don't receive any customer service in most Asian establishments, but this place cares and it shows. The owners are the sweetest, kindest people. The cafe is extremely esthetically pleasing - but owners, please please make sure you consistently check to ensure the bathroom is kept clean since it's only 1 shared single bathroom in the entire place. I hope the owners are reading this. I'd hate for an awesome cafe to go downhill due to lack of attention to the bathroom's cleanliness. The cafe is beautiful and full of real plants which give a nice tropical theme. The coffee is strong and concentrated with condensed milk, the coffee flavor busted at the first sip. In addition to that, the egg foam is creamy and very tasty, doesn't taste eggy like raw eggs. HORRIBLE. Do not go here- for reals. Walked in thinking that the ambiance and environment was beautiful and just wanted to bring my out of town friends to somewhere new. Firstly, my party of 5 came in greeting the lady in Vietnamese and being so friendly, giving her compliments, etc. HOWEVER, the minute we ordered this lady who was our cashier (the owner), continued to try persuading us into buying more. Eventually, I ordered the Caramel Flan and that was it. She told us that my party could not take a seat anywhere at all since the rest of my party did not get anything. I told her OK for takeout, and proceeded to pay. My friend politely asked for a drink of water, she refused. Momentarily after, my sister used the restroom. Tell me why this lady (the owner) tells us that we have to "pay up" $5 to use the restroom. Note, there is NO NOTE on the entrance door that says that everyone in your party has to order something AND to use their restroom is $5. NO NOTE SAYS THAT WHATSOEVER AT ENTRY. Let's be for real, the $5 for the restroom is insane. This lady proceeds to tell us in Vietnamese that we are all crazy to think that we can go to any café and just use her restroom, her electricity, water, etc. I'm like- isn't this a public place? This lady (owner) continues to have the rudest rant on and on- and even worse, when a couple came in to order behind us, she continues to rant about us IN FRONT of them. Talk about customer service- never coming back here again. Simply coming from one Viet person to another, and just being genuine- you don't talk down so poorly on someone just because they're a group of teenagers and not all of us order something- and you continue to talk in front of your other customers about us. This was the WORST cafe experience I have ever had. The customer service was absolutely horrendous. I had only bought one food item and I had no intention of staying long with my group. The woman cashier then started speaking in a such disrespectful manner and saying all these bad assumptions about us. Since we bought too " little" she then CHARGED 5$ since someone in my group had USED THE RESTROOM! 5$ TO USE THE RESTROOM?? I understand if she's had bad past experiences with other groups but this is no excuse.
