Overall I was pretty disappointed. -in the end they wouldn't even send me a written report or copies of the pics they took. -while on-site they really pressured me to agree to a bunch of repairs. Their repairs were also expensive. For example- they wanted $300+ to put some high heat mortar on the back side of my fireplace opening. This actually needed to be done but it was a tiny job. When I said I'd do it myself the vendor implied I was incapable without knowing I do small jobs like that all the time. I ended up doing the job myself for about $10 in materials and 30 mins of my time. -they told me my chimney needed a deep cleaning. Yet, unknown to them the chimney had been cleaned the week before. I asked them a few times- are you sure I need a cleaning?" Overall just not a great experience.
