I had my chimney cover done over a year ago by John and it is still looking like new and I have gotten a lot of comments and questions from my neighbors about it. I have an older house and the chimney needed some TLC, it didn't have a cover before when I purchased the house. I recently moved into a new house that had a double sided chimney, and one of the first thing I wanted to do, especially with the weather getting a bit colder, was make sure my chimney was clean and ready to use. I reached out in early January, and found that these guys are booked way ahead in advanced. The first availability they had was the beginning of February. I asked them for a quote for the job I wanted to do, and they gave me the estimates. It was on par, if not more reasonable with other chimney sweeps. I booked them, especially since they were very communicative. Two days beforehand they sent a reminder call that they would be out. The day of, they called me about 30 minutes before to inform me they were on their way. They arrived earlier than the scheduled time by like 10 minutes (which was awesome). These guys are awesome. I just purchased my house in Huntington Beach. I had them come out to look at the existing gas fireplace, which was not in good condition. They helped me pick out a new fixture to replace the existing, which was in bad shape. John and Sean just caused me to feel so much more affirmed about my husband and I purchasing a house built in 1941. We asked them to come to our house to assure us that our chimney and fireplace were in good enough shape before having them install a gas log set up. We didn't think there was a gas valve shut off outside of our fireplace (tho there is one inside, womp womp) but John threw on his suit and went under our house to take a better look and lo and behold he found it. This find saved us hundreds of dollars! When they first got to the house I was telling them we'd be using the fireplace as our main source of heat as I read on John's shirt that they do air ducts as well. I asked them to take a look at our old heat registers that we thought didn't work. They, knowing their shit even as far back as 1941, saw that one still had its pilot lit. With their help we got the heat on!! We've been living in this house for 2.5 months not knowing our heat worked. (Another inspector led us to believe that it didn't!) All this to say John and Sean know their stuff. They went above and beyond and were very very thorough. We even got a spark arrester installed. All of this was in an hour.
