No surprise at all that this location has 425 reviews & very close to 5 stars. Ryan C. came to fix a very peculiar issue & was not only professional, quick, & thorough but also friendly. After he was done, my mother inquired about a general water issue we have (details later... stay tuned) & basically Uncle Sam'd him ("we want you!") in requesting that he return to help us out. Quick summary: - Very affordable - Took way less time than I expected - Ryan C. is very knowledgeable & also provides different options w up-front costs & his expertise in explaining what would be done & what effect it would have. - We booked an appt with Ryan for tmrw for a separate issue we've dealt with since moving in & he was able to give us options & reasoning based on the information we gave - Put up w me teasing him for being a Dodger's fan (go Cubs!), but the commitment to the team (dodgers bucket, etc) is admirable from a general baseball-appreciation perspective. - Some intel: Usually plumbing companies (& other services) charge extra for weekends, but Mr. Rooter plumbing doesn't, as long as it's within business hours. What happened: Someone's vape fell out of her pocket & accidentally got flushed down (I don't know why you'd think this was me, that's so weird of you). Everything seemed fine & this person was like, "oh thank goodness... hope this doesn't come back to haunt me." Oh, it did- oh, it sure did. 3 weeks later the only toilet in the house was broken & of course we pulled out all the stops you'd use for a typical scenario, but this was no ordinary event now was it. Ryan gave us 2 options v similar in price (the one we chose was $130). I was at my desk & 15 mins after he began, I turned around & my toilet was upside down. I was like, woah. Then I got to see what's below an installed toilet (a portal to another universe). The service was very quick & my bathroom was working perfectly after! I asked questions like "do you think the vape would end up in someone else's toilet?" & he explained why that wouldn't happen in probably the nicest way possible. Tomorrow: We live in a condo unit & it takes forever for our water to heat up, the biggest issue being in the shower when adjusting water has a significant delay & the adjustment isn't minor so you go from very warm to really cold. It's like playing a game, but the game sucks. He said the issue for all faucets is related to a bigger source (that supplies heating to the entire building) BUT we could fix the shower issue. I'll edit the terminology tmrw for specifics. Absolutely deserving of the very high rating this business has. We were so worried that the unidentified person's "stupid vape" - Mom, would cost us ~500, but the whole process was a relief both financially & just because it's really fun to poke fun at Dodger's fans. Gave a fair quote and ended up costing less than the quote since they didn't have to break concrete to fix issues. Andy told me everything that should be done moving forward but wasn't pushy about it which I appreciate. Both Andy and his partner were polite, honest, and worked fast. They cleaned up everything afterwards as well. They were also able to offer no interest financing for 15 months which was great. the office staff was great as well. The entire process was pretty easy. The technician was friendly and respectful. I think the price was a little high at $345 to replace a wax ring but the quality and speed of service and ease of scheduling made up for it. Sometimes it's worth it to just get the job done, and to have the feeling that it was done correctly and with integrity.
