I had an old, sketchy saddle valve feeding the refrigerator line from under the house, and needed it replaced with a proper recessed ice maker box, and an accessible shut-off valve so the fridge could sit flush. From the start, their pricing was transparent and fair. The technician showed up right on time, cleanly removed the old saddle valve, installed a proper copper T-joint in the crawlspace, and finished the entire job in under two hours. The work area was left spotless.  Kudos to Carlos, Roy, and Gina! read more

Beware of high prices and bad client retention services. Returning customer here. Had a Navien water heater replace by this company in Dec. 2025 ( Navien covered replacement, under warranty) so we only pay for labor. We pay $1200 for install on a thankless water heater...way to high for an install but at that moment we had about 5 days with no hot water( waiting on Navien replacement) so we went we them. Long story short, unit is having same issue again today Sept. 2026. Unit is under warranty but Mullen plumbing is charging a service fee because they are short on tech( 2 techs out/small business company) and since they are short on a Friday it would be covered usually to come out but since techs are out they can come on a Saturday, they wpuld be charging a fee because they don't work on Saturdays and that's OT for them so we the client have to eat up the fee or wait till Monday so they can cover the fee. Makes no sense to for a returning customer to go thru this...given most likely we would use their service to get parts replace(manufacture) and us pay for labor. Had a conversation and text messages with Ashley Mullen the owner amd she would not budget not even applying the diagnostic fee towards repairs!! This is insane .... their rates are high... I shop around all day and found out there's people license doing the same job or better with lower rates/fees. read more

Reached through Yelp Project services on receiving estimation quotes on relocating my pool pipes. I received about 19 responses but half of the responses from other companies never followed through. Mullen plumbing did follow through! Came to my residence to perform a price assessment on the type of work I am requesting. A PO and SOW (Statement / Scope of Work) was provided in detail format, via email. With that said, this company provides pictures and a final price quote in readable electronic format. This business is professional and courteous. They spent the calories providing the information I needed by coming to my physical location of residence. "Measurements, Evaluations, Cost of Labor and resources." Currently My project is on hold due to a city infraction I am encountering. When sorted and clarified, I would make the decision to choose the best possible match within my budget. Thanks to Yelp Projects and Mullen Plumbing for following through as professionals. Kudos and Thank You for taking the time to come out. I highly recommend to use Mullen Plumbing as a source to your plumbing and pool needs! read more

Mullen Plumbing came out of nowhere and totally saved the day. We had a hose bib that decided to go bad and start leaking non-stop. This wasn't the 'do-it-yourself' repair. This bib was wet soldered on, not screwed. I called our typical go-to plumber on a Monday and he said he could be there on Wednesday and would charge $250.00. I called another plumber and he also said he could be here Wednesday and would charge me $195.00. But TODAY (Tuesday) our neighbor had a plumbing emergency and used Mullen Plumbing. When they were done with their other job, I mentioned my issue and they came over to take a look. They got a couple tools and parts, turned off the water main and badda boom, they fixed it in like 10 minutes. When I asked how much I owed, their response was amazing and I paid. Mullen Plumbing is now my go to plumber!! If you need a plumber, I truly recommend Mullen!!! read more

Mullen Plumbing - This was the non-stop leak that they fixed. - Plumbing Near Me - Long Beach, California

Mullen Plumbing was the first to respond to my inquiry for quotes after business hours and schedule an appointment for a free estimate. They followed up with confirmation of the upcoming visit and were on time. Trevor assessed the job of installing our new kitchen faucet, provided a price and proceeded with the job. He was professional (wore bootiies over his work boots & cleaned up afterwards), quick, and accurate. The faucet works perfectly and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend Mullen Plumbing and would use them again. read more

What can I say except that Mullen Plumbing has truly earned every one of these five stars! From my initial contact with their dispatcher, I was immediately impressed by the sincerity, kindness, and honesty I experienced. These qualities can be difficult to find these days, so I genuinely appreciated the level of care and professionalism from the very beginning. After scheduling my appointment, I received a confirmation the morning of the service. I was also notified when the technician was on his way and when he arrived. I especially appreciated that they provided a photo of the technician beforehand, which gave me peace of mind knowing exactly who to expect at my door. Our technician, Roy Ruelas, was absolutely the right person for the job. Although I was not home, my mother was there, and Roy's customer service was truly A1. He assessed the issue, clearly explained what needed to be done, demonstrated his knowledge and professionalism, and provided a quote before beginning any work. Once we agreed to proceed, Roy completed the job efficiently, cleaned up afterward, and made sure to show my mother that everything was working properly before he left. That level of thoroughness and care did not go unnoticed. Mullen Plumbing is a company I will absolutely be recommending to my friends and family. They have earned a customer for life! Thank you again to the entire Mullen Plumbing team, and a special thank-you to Roy for your professionalism, kindness, and excellent service. You truly made what could have been a stressful situation a smooth and positive experience. read more

Had to come in here and knock these reviews down a bit! Called these guys to come out to check my plumbing issue. It's a $100 for them to come out and check your house so i ate that. I found another plumber who charged half that price. I had slab leaks in my bedroom. They were charging like $700 dollars for a leak detection inspection for my home. They were not looking forward to negotiating for a bit less nor call back. I ended up going with another plumber to save my house and we worked out a great deal. read more

We've used Mullen for two different properties and already have additional projects planned for them. Their pricing is fair, their staff is professional, and the quality of their work is exceptional. Most recently, they repiped our home and completed the entire project in just one day. While we were waiting for the work to begin, they even provided an interim solution to help minimize the inconvenience. What sets Mullen apart is their innovative approach and integrity. They don't recommend or perform work that isn't necessary, but they are incredibly thorough in the services they do provide. We have confidence in their expertise and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled plumbing company. read more

Missing the main problem! Our property manager sent this company over to unclog a mainline issue. So they supposedly started with the snake, and before you knew it, we had to get the Jetter out. I was in told they needed to use the camera because the Jetter was not getting through and they thought there was possibly a tree or some blockage in the main line. Soon after they were done, I asked for the camera footage and findings. We were told the camera inspection was needed because the Jetta was not clearing everything but then told there was no pictures because it was cleared by the Jetter. Don't tack on extra money that's not necessary. When we had another plumbing company come out because I knew something was up, they actually found what we thought was a tree route in the main line down before our guest house. Well, they were given permission to begin digging it up when they noticed it was a leaking gas line that the city had drilled through our main line. Had their camera gone down the main line. They may have seen that blockage and found a pretty significant problem. read more

We have hired Trevor to come out several times over the last 10 years. He has replaced our water heater, done a new home inspection, some minor jobs and some major jobs.
