I rarely leave reviews, but Proper Plumbing & Rooter genuinely earned this one. I work in restoration and property damage, so I tend to notice how contractors operate -- and watching this crew work was impressive. Our building had an exterior leak that forced the owner to shut water off to all four units. Vince came out on a weekend and I could see right away he wasn't just there to sell a fix -- he took his time diagnosing the system before recommending a trenchless line repipe. That kind of approach says a lot. What I expected to be a two-day job was done in one. Vince was the first one there and the last one out -- he wasn't the type to drop off his crew and disappear. At one point I watched him get down and start troweling the concrete patches himself. I actually asked him, "Wow, you a mason too?" He just said, "I do what needs to be done." That pretty much sums up his whole attitude. The crew worked straight through until 10:30 PM to make sure we had water that night, and they cleaned up the entire area before leaving. I don't throw recommendations around lightly given my background, but Vince and his crew have a "get it done" mentality backed by real technical skill.
