When we called them, Rian came and he sounds very knowledgeable so we decided to go with him but the others. Since then it has been 4 months. Every single time the person who answered the phone said this problem, that problem all those reasons. We were not even in the schedule in spite of paid half of the amount. They also wanted the full money payment in advance. We said we pay half and we will pay the other after you finish. We are glad we did not pay for full amount. We paid $1000.00 up front. New scheduling day was today and no show. Rian. I think you are busy or something happened. But I think this is not right. Please correct me. I will update when I get refund. Here is the update. I received the refund. read more

We just had our fireplace redone. Mike Johnson from Pyro Guy installed it. He was amazing, thorough, neat, cleaned up after working and answered all our questions and did an excellent job of taking us through the finer points of our new installation. This company has something many don't have, not only pleasant people, but are respectful and show pride in their product and work. We'd highly recommend them for anyone wanting to rejuvenate their old fireplaces or want a new one. read more

The Pyro Guy - Finally updated and useable! - Fireplace Services Near Me - Bellflower, California

After reading several reviews we gave The Pyro Guy a call...he was quick to reply and we set an appointment with him. We had a built in bbq that was very old and falling apart and needed replaced. He was quick to offer several solutions and products to choose from. After selecting a new built in bbq, an appointment was set for installation. We did buy in off season which helped a bit on price. He showed up on time and went the extra mile. I know he does fireplaces etc...but he was a pro on our new bbq read more

Ryan did a great job. 3 fireplaces being serviced at a reasonable price and repairs done on 2 of them with satisfaction. Will absolutely call on The Pyro Guy again. read more

Due to a pipe breaking in my home, water mitigation occured and my fireplace was guted. The insurance approved Rian's bid as fair and reasonable. I was able to pick out designs of fireplaces that I liked and Rian matched it perfectly. Rian was very patient and flexible with the timeline due to reconstruction incidents tied to plumbing that adjusted the schedule. Rian did a beautiful job with my fireplace. I am so happy I hired him. It is nice to know a person with honesty and integrity. I recommend him to others. read more

The most efficient, communicative and professional experience I've ever had with a contractor. The Pyro Guy and his team were knowledgable, honest and reliable every step of the way - from our first inquiring email, to installation and inspection. Not only is The Pyro Guy a pro, his team was always on time, respectful and left the installation site immaculate. The team respected my space and home, every detail was thoughtful with creative solutions. Rian is a true engineer, problem solver, who takes pride in his work and will collaborate with you to create your design and bespoke vision. During the bidding process, Rian was the only contractor who was transparent with his quote and what all it entailed. He provided an itemized estimate that broke down figures and what to expect going into the project within each phase. I had many previous contractors in the past throw out lofty estimates from the top of their heads with no explanation as to where the numbers where coming from with methods that felt exhausting, messy and unnecessary. With Rian's expertise and skillful knowledge, he clearly and efficiently broke down a timeline, walked me through all the materials, labor and project overview, while giving a clear, fair price. I went into the project with full confidence and understanding. After our final inspection with the City Inspector, the Inspector himself complimented Rian on his craftsmanship and keen attention to detail, cleanliness, safety and professionalism. We passed inspection with flying colors! Everyone who walks into my home stops and admires the fireplace and installation. I've passed along The Pyro Guy's info to all my friends, neighbors, coworkers and everyone I know. I'm looking forward to working with Rian and his team again in the future and will be a forever client. I fully endorse and recommend! read more

Had the log lighter replaced with a swank new stainless unit for a reasonable price then had our other fireplace trouble shot on the house ! Thanks Pyro Guy you're lit ! read more

We purchased a home that was built in the early 2000s, so it was relatively new. However, the fireplace was non-functioning. I requested quotes from several companies and Rian's quote was the most reasonable. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and explained all the running parts of the fireplace. After ordering a part, he was able to come back and fix the fireplace permanently. If you're looking for fireplace or gas repairs, I highly recommend Rian! read more

Worked with The Pyro Guy in conjunction with my general contractor to have a 70's stone fireplace removed and replaced with a modern linear unit. I had my general demo the fireplace and from there Rian came in and helped me determine what was the best go forward plan based on my budget, timing, and HOA restrictions. He was great in giving me multiple options and I never felt pressured to go any specific way, regardless of price. I ended up selecting the Modern Flames Orion Slim- and let me tell you it has been my favorite feature in my house. The flames are very realistic, the cracking sounds are great- and the color options/app make the experience even better. The installation process went well- they were great in working with my HOA's requirements on having a permit with the city and color matching the chimney chase cover. The only downfall in the process was that the price went up due to unforeseen difficulties with my electric wiring however there was no way for them to know that when they first gave me the initial quote. Overall great experience and super happy with the work and unit. Would recommend to anyone looking for fireplace service/install/remodel. Thank you! read more

I highly recommend this company for your fireplace needs. My experience from beginning to end was great, the price to refinish my fireplace was truly a huge saving and it turned out better than I expected. At times I contacted more than once to arrange things but I always received a fair and honest response given how busy they are, was reassuring. While other companies wanted to charge me an arm and a leg, this company truly saved me thousands. Mike, Rian, and Owen are heaven sent! Thank you to this team for exceptional honest work! Lucky to have your assistance! You're simply the best around! Do not even think twice about reaching out for your needs, hope my experience can be reassuring! Something shady's going on. We were looking for a fireplace screen. No one at the 17824 bellflower facility. Then went to Southgate and it was even worse. Lots of gas wasted. Worse customer service read more

Rian was a nice enough young man who sold us our fireplace. Soon as I put down the down payment, the red flags started raising up. First, they sent an electrician who was unlicensed to do the work. This very same electrician was supposed to arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 and decided to come at 10:30. Second, Rian charge $395 for a permit. He said it would arrive electronically. We went to the city and found out that no permit was ever issued. Third, they want to charge $395 for a permit that in reality only cost $60. We kept the fireplace, but voided the contract. Now comes forth.... As we took the fireplace out of the box and try to assemble the frame, the frame parts did not match. We called modern flames and they were kind enough to say they would send us a new, workable frame. Whatever you do, do not do business with the pyro guy. read more

Amazing guy! I had 4 people come out to fix my gas fireplace in my casita. They all said it was a different part, they were all wrong. After spending many hours waiting for these different people, not to mention over 1000 dollars, the Pyro guy was there, exactly to the minute on time, took him probably 2 minutes to figure out what was wrong. Fixed it for the small fee I paid. DONE! Great experience! read more

Rian and his team completely refaced our fireplace with new tile, new mantle, new doors, new gas log insert with lava rock and painted the inside of the fire box. They also added a new electrical outlet above the mantle for our tv and mounted our tv above the fireplace. Communication and responsiveness throughout the entire process was great. Rian consistently emailed with updates on delivery estimates of the pieces and installation appointments. He was always very nice and helpful. We are extremely happy with the finished product and highly recommend Rian to anyone looking to get work done on their fireplace. read more

This business rocks! Rian, the tech person and his staff, including Owen are extremely skilled at problem solving and competent at their craft. Further, they have exceptional attitude and are extremely customer oriented with great people skills. They scheduled the appointment and Rian arrived on time to service my gas fireplace that has been attended by others with disappointing results! It was going in a flash and is still operating satisfactory. Doesn't get better than these "guys". Don't hesitate to contact them. read more

Rian is one of the best people I have ever worked with for any repairs after we got our house. He started our fireplace that was not used for the last 10 years. Fortunately, we did not have to change any parts and all was done in like 30 minutes. Rian responded with a good standard pricing and an available timeframe, checked with me on the model details and all to be sure he had all the parts, gave me a heads up the day before and was on time for the appointment. He checked all the parts, lighted the fireplace, explained us everything, did a detailed cleaning and set it all up. He is super nice, friendly and professional. He answered all our weird and vague questions and provided all the tips that I needed to maintain our fireplace. He really was knowledgeable on the unit we had, which was installed maybe 10+ years ago. I would 100% recommend him for any fireplace installations, fixes or any related repairs. Thanks again @Rian for helping us fix the fireplace and letting us know on how to keep it running good. Will surely call you again if something comes up. Thanks. read more

Rian is such a nice guy, he's knowledgeable, respectful, and fair. I had an old gas fireplace that I needed to have checked out in the unit I'm renting. He checked the gas line for safety, cleaned it out, and got it up and running really fast. All while managing to keep the cream colored carpet safe from soot and dirt. read more

I had an original gas burning fireplace that's been in my unit since the 70s and wasn't working. Andrew was able to schedule time to come out and work around my schedule, quickly diagnose the issue, and saved me a ton of money by only having to replace the igniter and a few components--rather than thousands on a new unit. He walked me through the complete process and was very clear with the estimate and charges. Very happy and highly recommend! read more
