A friend was invited to attend a "Celebration of Life" at this location. The deceased was a former Las Vegas Police Officer who had recently passed away. The day prior to the event, the owner apparently found out that the person had been a police officer and abruptly informed the family that they absolutely could not hold the celebration at his establishment and needed to relocate. I'm sorry, but even though I realize a business can refuse service to anyone, I feel that this is completely inappropriate and unacceptable. Needless to say, I will never patronize this place, and hopefully if you are a law enforcement supporter like I am, neither should you. read more

I just drove into town I was looking for somewhere to eat I found The Village in Las Vegas Lakes and found many little local restaurants that were all along a cobble stone walkway. The are was very quaint and had a resort feel. I was looking for some dinner and found The Pub where I met Jennifer the waitress who recommended some menu specials which I found to be very tasty. The l service was, with a smile, and she seemed very sincere about her recommendations. I tried some "European" favorites that were on the menu. Wow they tasted great. I've been to this spot before for a friend's birthday way back in the day. And I truly remember it being an awesome spot. Sadly, our customer service was definitely mixed this time around. We were at Lake Las Vegas with a HUGE group after going on a yacht for my friend's birthday. His fiance had told us to go ahead and head to this pub and let them know that there should be a reservation of 40 people under her name there. We walked in and sadly weren't greeted the best. Maybe the waitress was having an off-day? I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. We told them we had a reservation for 40 people under my friend's name. They just kind of looked at us and said well there's no seating. However, the patio was completely empty. So I mentioned my friend had called ahead and since there really wasn't any seating inside, we'd be more than happy to take the patio. We got a huge eyeroll back, which was a little upsetting. If I heard 40 people were coming in to my establishment, I probably would have seen dollar signs lighting up haha, but maybe she was just having not such a great day. Luckily, as we were walking out, a spot opened up so my friend's 80 year old grandfather had somewhere cool to sit. We all decided to head out onto the patio. It took the same waitress a bit to come outside and give us some menus, that I just decided to go to the bar. I'm glad I did because the bartender was so extremely friendly. He took my order, remembered my name every time I went up and would say "thank you, Kayla" after handing me my next drink. He was the people's champ! When the waitress did eventually come outside and I decided to try to order some food (was even open to opening another tab to do so), but she made a comment that she could go tell the bartender I wanted some pretzels or maybe I could? Literally so weird. She just stared at me after asking if I wouldn't mind running in to tell the bartender I would like to order some food because she can't start a new tab for me. I just kind of stared back and then she did get the hint. My pretzels came out shortly after that, so I do appreciate her going out of her way to make sure I got my food because I wasn't sure if it would eventually come out seeing as she didn't seem to like our group very much haha. Now, when I did decide to go back inside, they had this amazing guitarist singing some really fun songs! He was incredible. Definitely added some positivity to our experience (along with my bartender friend haha!). He was great and was taking requests all night long. My husband bought him a drink and he played our friend's favorite song for his birthday. It was definitely a highlight of the night! Not understanding the two star grade from Yelp reviews. We had a great experience last Sunday. We were welcomed in as soon as they opened by Kat the server. She was genuine, sweet and buzzed around the pub getting everyone's request in with a friendly disposition. She took the time to explain the menu items to us. This is a great pub to stop and relax. The atmosphere is a mix between an Irish pub, an American sports bar and an upscale bar. There are several TVs with sports on, plus some great music in the background. The people working here are very nice and service is prompt. They have a great selection of beers on tap as well as many craft beers. The bar is fully stocked and the food is delicious. We ordered the fish taco appetizer. It came with 3 tacos. They were the biggest and THE BEST fish tacos in Vegas. Check out the pic as they are monstrous. It is a little pricey but absolutely first class food. Worth the drive. As a female, me and the girlfriends went to eat lunch after cruising on the lake. We were excited to watch Euros and eat food, sadly, we were met with the rudest service I've experienced post pandemic. There were 2 tables of 2 in the restaurant and as we walked in we were shushed. Said we were not allowed to be noisy or loud as it would disturb the other guests. Mind you, it's 1:30pm. All we wanted was to enjoy the Euros and enjoy the good food we've received earlier over the last few years. We were met with mansplaining and condescending attitudes, that made several women, including I, tear up. Regardless of how much we wanted to enjoy their day. Ultimately I've never been with 4 women willing to pay for drinks and have a manager make them feel so awful they cried after the interaction. There's always two sides to every story however there were other women seeing how we were treated that they refused to come in. I used to be a big fan of this place but never again. I do not need to me mansplained when bringing double the amount of patrons in and when anyone of color doesn't feel welcome. Food is always phenomenal as always but there has been this one employe that we just have gotten tired of the way he acts when we come in to eat. First time he wasn't our server but he was greeting others guest and when it was our turn to he treated us like he didn't want to serve us. Me and my wife just got a weird and somewhat a disrespectful vibe from him. We sorta just brushed it off assuming he was having a bad day.. Saturday 02/13 around 3 we come in again and he was there again. We where hoping for a better service from him. And same thing. Like he just hated being there. He walked with us to our table didn't even said anything just sat us and left. My wife felt uncomfortable that she just wanted to leave. We decided to stay just to confront him and ask him if there was something wrong with us because its the second time we feel like he did not want to serve us or have anything to do with us.. he never came back im assuming he sent someone else because this new server was the complete opposite. He was nice and very attentive to us his service was great I can't complain about him. GREAT GUY!! I did ask him for the other guys name and if I remember correctly Joe or Joseph somewhat around there.. Wow is this even a restaurant? It's service is horrible and the food is really dissapointing, but not the worst to be fair. My sister ordered [Not Mama's] meatloaf and it had plastic in it as well. The burger my other sister ordered didn't come until everyone else at the table had eaten--It wasn't even cooked thoroughly, the cheese was soggy with grease. There was a pool of oil forming on the plate after she picked it up once--it was so disgustingly greasy, and the fries were bland. They were quite impatient when we ordered too...we didn't even get what we wanted to drink so we were forced to have water. And not lastly, but unfortunately, when I had ordered garlic fries, I received normal fries. We were also sat away and secluded from everyone else. It was crowded and the chairs were very uncomfortable to sit on. Waiters had to lean over just to get to us. Not only, after we had been told they'd put table together to seat us all--we had to do it ourselves. Plus, the tables weren't even completely clean, so we were once again forced to do something an employee should've done. The waiters scrambled around the restaurant too. They took a plate out, with a fresh burger on it, and after running around with it they placed it back in the kitchen. Food was decent, as aforementioned, but it was such a waste because of poor service. Waiter was also polite when we asked for a yelp and water. But, that's exactly it...we had to /ask/ for refills instead of them bringing around water, which most restrauants do. There is a woman who "reserves" tables and talks very loudly and complains the whole time. Eye rolls at her table don't seem to change anything. I'm not sure if she is related to an owner or manager, but she is a vibe kill that seems to be tolerated. Service is really good, but the bartender definitely over serves the regulars. Went there for dinner. Bartender told us he was hungover. waitress told us she had a person in front of us and she would be with us shortly. We waited for 30 min and she was serving other people and multiple people at a time. My mom went to the bar to get drinks because we still hadn't gotten them. After seeing a low star average with 22 reviews, I was not sold. I went anyways because there aren't many options on a week day in the area during COVIIIIID. I must say that I was shocked at how great it was. The food was very fresh and delicious, the drinks were great, the prices were fair, and the service was warm and top notch. I would absolutely go back. I had the Cobb salad with jalapeño ranch + the blackened chicken sandwich with fries. I would go back for both. If there was a choice to give this place one star, I would I just recently moved into Lake Las Vegas and was very excited to hear about a pub nearby with this being said, I visited a couple times and each time I experienced poor service, the food was not good. And i mean NOT GOOD. The tall guy with the glasses said he was the manager. He was very rude. He had his back facing us the entire time we were sitting at the bar while he was texting on his phone, I mentioned some thing to the gentleman sitting next to us, and he said that's what he does all the time and for being a manager he might want to take a class on pouring beers not only was it not filled properly, but he sat the glass down soaking wet, I'm sorry but I'd like to keep my hands not sticky while enjoying my beer ...We sat there for at least 15 minutes waiting for another drink as he continued on his phone, the other bartender, we experienced the second time we came in was literally drunk as a skunk, pouring his own drinks, right in front of us, and complaining about how hung over, he was from the night before, his girlfriend was sitting at the bar, also drunk as a skunk, and she was causing conflict with people at the bar, which is very unprofessional. She even had her dog sitting on the bar drinking from a bar glass, which is absolutely disgusting and I'm sure against health code ...With all that being said, we tried it one last time and our server (a skinny little dark-haired girl with way too many piercings in her nose. Another thing we found was super unprofessional) had no idea what she was doing, Didn't know anything about their drinks or their specials I don't know if she was drunk as well? Is this establishment just somewhere where the employees get wasted? our food came out cold when we sat with the young lady, her and her coworker were sitting in the back room, playing on their phones, so I'm sure our food sat under the warmer for some amount of time.. it's a very big disappointment as we were looking forward to having a local pub right next to where we live!
