On Tuesday, my boyfriend and I decided to switch things up. We usually dine at the Fremont location, but since we were running errands on that side of town, we stopped by the Green Valley location instead. As always, the food was absolutely delicious, but the service completely stole the show! Our server, Bre, was incredible. She was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely made our experience even better. She convinced us to step outside our comfort zone and try one of the Grandma-style pizzas instead of our usual favorite, The Butcher. It was SO good, and we're so glad we took her recommendation! Throughout our meal, Bre made sure our drinks were always full, checked in on us at all the right times, and made us feel so welcomed. She has such a kind personality, and you can tell she truly cares about her guests. We love dining at both Pizza Rock locations, but after this visit, the Green Valley location has definitely become our favorite. If you like sweet, spicy & tangy, try ordering a side of Hot Honey & pouring that on your slice, or get a side of Alfredo sauce for your pasta! It is a party in your mouth! I live far away I have been here probably 15x I always review well here. Today was a bummer All I wanted was a Neapolitan margherita pizza... this is the best pizza other than Italy imo. We arrived it was half full placed a few beer orders and calamari the best Calamari in US!!! I went to place my order Neapolitan! Oh I'm sorry no wood fire today.... Server knew I was upset nothing offered in return. I say that because 2 beers two pizzas and calamari was $120 smh... I've been wanting to check out Pizza Rock at Green Valley Ranch, and it definitely lived up to the hype. We started with the zucchini fries, which were crispy, light, and the perfect appetizer to share. For pizza, we ordered the New Yorker and the Detroit Red Top with pepperoni, ricotta, and roasted garlic. The New Yorker had that classic foldable, thin-crust bite with a great balance of sauce and cheese. The Detroit-style was the standout for me--thick, airy crust with crispy caramelized edges, and the combination of pepperoni, creamy ricotta, and roasted garlic was packed with flavor. The service was friendly, the restaurant had a fun, energetic atmosphere, and everything came out fresh. If you're looking for quality pizza with plenty of styles to choose from, Pizza Rock at Green Valley Ranch is definitely worth a visit. This place used to be one of my favorite pizza spots, and that is reflected in my previous reviews. Unfortunately, what happened during this visit, ensured it will be my last, and I can't recommend it anymore. Everything was great until it was time to pay. we asked for a box for our leftover pizza and our server said he would box it up for us. Instead of doing so right away, he placed our pizza on an empty table and walked away to another table's order. Meanwhile, another employee who was cleaning the tables saw the pizza, assumed it had been abandoned and threw it into his trash bin along with other garbage as he continued cleaning. When our server looked around for the pizza, couldn't find it, went into the kitchen, then came back, picked up the trash bin and disappeared for a couple of minutes. He then returned with our leftover pizza boxed up and handed it to us. Our pizza had literally just come out of the trash. The most disappointing part wasn't that a mistake happened, mistakes happen. It was the decision to serve food that had been thrown into the trash instead of owning up to the error and simply apologizing. A simple "I'm so sorry your leftovers were accidentally thrown away", would have been completely understandable. Instead they chose to retrieve food from a trash bin and give it back to a customer. That completely destroyed my trust in this restaurant. If that's how they handle something in plain view of customers, it makes me wonder what happens behind the scene in the kitchen. Sadly, this experience has turned one of my favorite pizza places into one I will never return to. read more

I'd been seeing Pizza Rock all over Instagram and TikTok, so we finally decided to give it a try during our Vegas trip this past weekend. We ordered both pizza and pasta. The pizza was good and there were plenty of unique options and flavors to choose from, which I appreciated. The pasta, however, wasn't my favorite and was pretty average. Our server was okay as well. Service wasn't bad, but it felt a little lacking in warmth and friendliness. She may have just been having a long day. For parking, we ended up paying for street parking nearby. Since this is in Downtown Las Vegas, I'm not sure if there are any free parking options close by. Overall, I thought the place was okay. The food didn't quite live up to the hype for me, but I can definitely see why others enjoy it. The atmosphere has more of a lively bar vibe, and I think it's probably a great spot for grabbing drinks and hanging out with friends while sharing a pizza. read more

Located within GVR and hard to miss. This is a fairly sizable venue owned by Tony Gemignani. For those unaware, he also owns Slice house (in the food court) , 2 other Pizza Rocks at Allegiant Stadium and Downtown Las Vegas on 3rd St. Let us not forget a former place in Palace Station called Little Tonys that closed many moons ago. Well their website claims they "took pizza to the next level" and i'd have to agree here. The menu has a VAST array of Pizza (Italian, Detroit, Chicago, NY etc.) along with Pastas, salads and the like. One of the largest selections I have seen in awhile. Service here I'd label as "average". Oh sorry, since we are taking things to the next level, I'll do the same with my vocabulary. The service was middling . I love Pizza Rock sooo much! The food here is consistently solid and the value is incredible - especially if you catch their happy hour, which as of 5/9/26 started at 2 and ended at 5. On my most recent visit, I enjoyed their Zucchini Fries (very flavorful), Pizza Rock Meatballs (tender!), and Tony 2 Times pizza (meaty!!). I typically don't eat pizza crust, but I devoured the crust on this pizza. It was perfectly crispy and chewy and worth every extra carb! Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of the food because I was too excited about chowing down (accompanying pizza photos were taken on a prior visit in 2/26). I only managed to get a snap of my date's Freaky Tiki drink, which came in an appropriately themed glass. The waitstaff here were really friendly and efficient, and our food arrived super fast. The restaurant is a lot like downtown but a little smaller and casino themed....the roulette table that seats eight is pretty cool. We personally like to reserve a high top for Happy hour. Normally we get the happy hour individual pizzas and some beer, but we were feeling froggy and decided to try the Grandma's traditional pizza. Perfect pizza for two people, and as light eaters we had a few pieces for leftovers. The beers were nice and cold and 2 dollars off for HH. The pizza arrived and it was delicious...but extremely rich. I think the sausage puts it over the edge of richness, but it was very good. Came in on a weekday for lunch with a buddy of mine. Place was quiet and we decided to sit at the bar. My friend didnt want any pizza, so I decided to get the appetizer meatballs. I wasnt crazy hungry when I arrived and the meatballs that I ordered were all a good size. They were smothered in marinera sauce. The meatballs were amount for me for lunch. This was my fiancés annual holiday dinner for his company and overall the service and food were good. They do not have heat lamps, so they bring the food out as it's ready. This means that if you order a salad, like me, you'll get your entree way before everyone else. Not a big deal, just a little different. My Caesar was good, a decent portion for the price. Recommend the Americana if you like an everything pizza, but a must try Margherita pizza because one of the creators for Rock Pizza Tony Gemignani won the world pizza competition in Italy 13 times, absolutely worth trying if you are a pizza aficionado! Checked out Pizza Rock at Green Valley Ranch this week. I used to go to their downtown location years ago, but this was my first time checking out their Henderson location. Pretty large size restaurant, including a bar, large tables, booths, and an outdoor patio. (I did not go to the outdoor patio, but I could see it from where I was sitting.) It's dimly lit, comfy booths, not an overstimulating environment, which is great. A good size space if you're trying to do a large group dinner for a birthday or celebration. It's in a really awesome location because it's right near the entrance to the casino from the Village Park Drive and Paseo Verde Parkway, (it gets a little confusing with all of the different parking, garages and entrances to the hotel but this one is in the back and it is the biggest parking lot. What's awesome is that if you need to like go to the car for any reason you're right next to the parking lot. The restaurant does not have its own bathrooms so you do need to go out into the casino and it's on the right hand side when you get out from the restaurant which is the only really annoying thing, but it's normal at a lot of restaurants in the hotels. But just know that if you need to use the restroom while you're at the restaurant, you have to go out of the restaurant. The hostess was very sweet. Got us to our table pretty quickly. Our server Chelsea was super nice, great energy, and very attentive! They have really awesome happy hour menu! And very, very reasonably price!! Their pizzas for happy hour are personal size but you really could share if you get a whole bunch of things. We both did their pesto paradise, it was pretty tasty! We got the rosemary garlic fries, which were really good. My friend is a fry connoisseur and she very much enjoyed them! Their garlic garlic bread.... Is just as you would imagine very garlic garlic and very bread. lol Really great option if you are at Green Valley Ranch! It really nailed the NY-style pizza I enjoy. Unfortunately, the rest of the pizza missed the mark. The sauce lacked a robust flavor, and the toppings were just okay. It honestly looked better than it tasted, and I kept feeling like it was missing something. I knew it had ricotta, but I don't think it added much and the pizza could've gone without it. The pizza was also super greasy and too messy to eat. They had a bottle of hot pepper olive oil on the table but the pizza definitely did not need that! I really felt this pizza was lacking in flavor. Considering the price, I was pretty disappointed .. BUT to be fair, it is in a casino. I've always heard great things about Pizza Rock, so maybe that added to the letdown. My friend ordered a gluten-free Margherita and said it was just okay as well. Pizza Rock in Green Valley casino is a fun place to grab a bite to eat. Their decorations include a semi truck! The staff is nice and the menus all have a record album cover and record inserted in the menus. The food is good! The fried zucchini went so fast I forgot to take a photo! I've known about this place for a while but never had the chance to go. My friend and I decided it's finally time to go. It's at the Green Valley casino so it was really busy on a Saturday night. We had to wait a while for our food but service was friendly nonetheless. Here's what we ordered. Zucchini fries: well fried and seasoned to perfection. First time having zucchini fries and I was impressed. Calamari: my friend loves sea food and he absolutely enjoyed this dish - crispy and fried with the perfect amount of batter. Artichoke pizza: definitely a delicious pie! All the flavors come well together and the crust has the perfect texture. Pizza wasn't greasy at all and the toppings were fresh. Went in for Happy Hour. Self seating at the bar.. waited 5 minutes to be approached. Seemed to be one bartender covering entire bar. Had an order of the meatballs.. Said 3 to an order.. Mine came with 5!.. I'd ordered a crispy thin crust pizza with pesto and tomato. With the extra meatballs I would not have. Ate a couple slices and boxed the rest for home. What a disappointment. Pizza Rock has been on my list of places to check out since we moved here. I had pretty high expectations with the great reviews and was completely let down. The pizza was very overcooked and the crust was basically as hard as a rock. As you can see from photo, there was barely any cheese on the pizza and what was there lacked flavor. I'm honestly shocked by how bad this was given the price. I wish I had just gone to the Pizza Hut down the street. As many times as I have been to GVR, I have never been to the Pizza Rock. I always chose Borracha's instead. But going to dinner tonight, my daughter and I decided we'd try Pizza Rock. We asked our server for his favorite dishes and why they don't offer a Chicago style deep dish since they had Detroit, NY, sicilian and American. He stated they talked about it. While he first only recommended the popular dishes, he was hesitant because a previous customer asked him to choose and then complained he didn't like it..schmuck! If you're asking someone else to choose your dish, first you commit to trusting that person decision won't be horrible, they're your server for crying out loud. Second, I told him no matter what I would eat it. That allowed him to give me his personal recommendation. I didn't want to know what he chose, just order it. It ended up being the sausage and stout pizza, great choice. Along with the Gorgonzola and apple salad, a beer and it was delicious. On the downside, Pizza Rock is a little pricey. Honestly, I would say about $8 over what would be a reasonable price. This is why I wanted something different than standard pizza. I got what I wanted, a unique pizza and a delicious salad. I would definitely come back, may even choose pizza rock over Borracha's...okay let's not go crazy, lol. But will definitely be back. read more

We've been here before, and unfortunately there always seems to be an issue with communication with the servers. The one consistent positive is the, their quality and taste of the food along with the their kind and welcoming hostesses, who are always lovely. That said, for the price point, the customer service from the servers really needs improvement. On our previous visit, we waited about 30 minutes only to be brought the completely wrong pizza. This time, we brought family from out of town and once again had an issue -- they never brought out just the cheese and pepperoni pizza. I also ordered the "mango mocktail" listed on the menu since I don't drink alcohol. It came out with straight tequila, and when the mistake was acknowledged (they came to me), there was no apology. Even more disappointing, they reused the same cup to remake it, despite the fact that I had already drank from the tajín rim which was apparent. To top it off, the drink had zero flavor. As a bartender myself, I know mocktails can still be made well, so this was especially frustrating. I just had them take it off the check tbh. Service overall was slow -- no water refills, and little attentiveness. He even asked how many ranch and we didn't get them all.. The food, however, is the reason we've given this place multiple chances. The 'Chicago Land Pizza' is amazing, they offer delicious gluten-free options, and the wings from their football wings & fries special ($22) was incredibly juicy and flavorful. Huge shoutout to the cooks -- they are clearly carrying this place. I sincerely hope the servers tip them well, because the food is why we come back. I really wish this experience had been better. The waiter was nice but everyone ordered lemon water and he forgot the lemons, told us he would go get them and we did not see him again until we payed the check. We ordered the Chicago pizza and the east coaster because it said it was popular on the menu. I wish we hadn't. The menu described it as a sausage and hot honey pizza.
