Came here for a group breakfast, and they were helpful in advising what I could have with my dairy allergy. Their standard breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and potatoes was decent, with the exception of their potatoes. I'm not sure if they overcooked them, but they did not look nor taste fantastic. Upon seeing others in the group get their breakfast, their potatoes were cooked right. You can tell by the color of the potatoes....golden yellow vs. brown. This place was busy for a Sunday morning, but the line moves fast. The lady who took my order was super nice and helpful. As I waited for my food, I couldn't help but look around they had so many items for sale, and they have a paint nite here. I'll have to check it out. I ordered: 1. Iced vanilla brown sugar cinnamon oat milk latte - This drink was the right amount of caffeine and sweetness. 2. Bacon and sausage breakfast burrito - This came with house potatoes and was amazing. Don't forget the ketchup. The burrito was hefty, I halved this one with my husband. It was a cheesy yummy goodness that I can't explain. It was so big I was only able to eat half of half but I did finish the potatoes. 3. Coffee cake and cinnamon roll - Saved this for home and warmed it up. You definitely can't go wrong with this. I had never had this combo before and at first, I was a little skeptical to have the cream cheese be part of the mix as I thought it would be too much flavor, but all the ingredients paired really well together and the sandwich was delicious. Unfortunately, we were less than impressed with the food, and will go back to Cafe Mezzaluna across the street. The food was not up to par for the prices they charge.... Excellent breakfast option for an early Wednesday morning. I got the breakfast burrito and substituted sausage for bacon. Sausage was of a good quality (not a lot of fat or grease) and plentiful. Very tasty and the size was just right. The open-faced bagel sammie was also very good, the star being the fresh bagel. Very popular place, but the staff were on their game, getting orders taken/served and all with a positive attitude. stopped by for lunch on a weekday afternoon and it was pretty quiet. service was pretty friendly and all but wow it was pricy. we were a group of 7 dining in and were charged an auto 20% gratuity so a sandwich and medium latte ran me $28 (Ouuuchhhh). and for that much for a sandwich i was hoping it'd be good but the flavors for the cubano were just so off. and my pulled pork was So burnt it tasted bad. wasn't just like a nice char that stuff was black LOL and the pickles or maybe it was the mustard tasted off? maybe i just don't like whole grain mustard idk.. and the sourdough roll was soo thick but the top half was like 80% of the roll instead of a nice 50/50 top to bottom bun ratio. Setting: bad line flow, untidy, indoor and outdoor dining, but indoors feels like the staff break room behind a screen. Veggie scramble: artichokes , onions, peppers, spinach, more onions than eggs, big slices of peppers and onions (as another reviewer stated), no mushrooms (as one reviewer had enjoyed), cheese not entirely melted. Home fries: basic, well-cooked, not dry Biscuit: I was excited for these because one reviewer raved about them and the special jam they came with. They are not fluffy, moist but tasteless. I saw a girl preparing them in the back kitchen when I went to the bathroom, which is located there (yuck). She was kneading and shaping the biscuits like rolls, which is not how biscuits are made. That explained their texture. Oatmeal: steel cut, large bowl, warm not hot, $1.50 for a strawberry and a few slices of banana, have to ask for milk. The breakfast burrito was on the salty side and it didn't taste or look like fresh bacon to me-- it appeared and tasted like bacon bits mixed into the burrito filling (I could be wrong, but this is what it came off to me as). The side of potatoes was a very good portion, but not much flavor or color to them. Wished they would have cooked them more to get crispy bits or added some type of herb or garlic. This also appeared to not be so fresh and simply reheated. The vanilla iced latte was good, but didn't have much vanilla flavor. As for service and environment, I enjoyed both (although if you choose to sit outside, be aware that many bees will fly around your table and meal).
