Always love this place. Had a delicious cold brew, and shared a pie and a sausage roll. Staff was super nice and helped me bring out my food since I was holding a baby. Patio is dog friendly. Took a few frozen pies to go.

Very cute neighborhood coffee shop that serves savory/sweet pies, baked goodies, and coffee (obviously). Dog-friendly and the staff are also very pleasant. Nick (not sure if this is the same person who helped me, but it's the name on the receipt) was patient with me as I pondered my choices and asked about what pastries were available. We ended up getting an iced vanilla latte ($6), cold brew ($5), fig walnut scone ($4), and an espresso chocolate cherry pecan cookie ($4). I thoroughly enjoyed the vanilla latte and could actually see the specks of vanilla bean! It was initially VERY sweet, but it's because all the syrup was pooled at the bottoms. Onced mixed in, it was perfect. The scone was a big winner. I should have bought more to enjoy later on! It was soft and fluffy and just everything a scone should be. The cookie was decent, but I'm just not a bit chocolate person. I just wanted to try it out because it sounded interesting. They also offer some merch and other novelty items for sale. There's things like watermelon seed milk, doggie treats, and sugar cookies by @raemariebakes and they looked SO CUTE! Would definitely come back again if I'm in the area!

Great pies sweet and savory, and other yummy options. Spicy sausage rolls, bbq pork pie, chicken pot pies, and raspberry and peach cobbler! Good coffee, fantastic service and can't beat the vibe with a great view! If on the coast stop by!

I was on my way to Montara state beach and decided to stop for lunch. When I discovered that the bakery makes Australian savory pies, I was so excited (their local competitors are few and far between in Vallejo and Windsor). I bought the traditional Aussie pie, the sausage roll and a chai latte. The pie was excellent, and the cafe knew to have ketchup on standby to complete the experience. The sausage roll was a letdown - the filling was crumbly and the pastry was too thick. They should try filo for a more authentic texture. I loved the dog friendly patio and the option to buy frozen pies (buy 5 get 1 free). I will certainly return when on the coast!

    Location by Sawyer Camp Trail

Stopped by their food truck near Sawyer Camp Trail after following some signs that said "Hot Pie and Coffee" not knowing what to expect. The two ladies were so nice that they gave me and my friend free savory pies since they were closing, and both the Strawberry Crisp and Curry Butternut Squash Pie were delicious! Both were so filling that I didn't need to eat lunch afterwards. Will make sure to stop by their in store location next time I'm in the area!

Delicious pies! Coffee was lovely. They have a cute vibe inside and great views of the water from their patio

What a hidden gem! Savory pies are not your typical cafe item and Sage has a huge variety from their fresh and frozen options. We tried the chicken pot pie and the BBQ pulled pork and the chicken pie really speaks for itself. It had plenty of vegetables and flavor and worked great with the flakey crust. I will definitely be coming again.

It's an Australian bakery with different types of savory breakfast pies. I got the chicken pot pie and it was delicious with the hot sauce. They also have handmade pop tarts, it was cold so I wish it had been warmed up. The service could have been friendlier, but it was quick. There's a small parking lot or street parking on the street behind.

Delicious chicken pot pie! We enjoyed our pies out in the sun on the deck overlooking the ocean. We also had fresh pressed juices that we loved. Very nice employees and cute place. We will return!

One of the many savory pies; I suspect they're all amazing

Remote (between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay on Highway 1) but fantastic, and among the best savory pies in the Bay Area. I arrived mid-afternoon and selection was limited, but the pork verde was delicious and still warm). I'd go back if it were closer - for now I'll just remember how the warm pie in the cold coast kept me going.

Americano at top--excellent. Pumpkin to the left and Hungarian Chicken to the right. Both pies were good.

Pies. To me, pies are usually pretty good. I guess pies can be bad, but usually are pretty good. The pies at Sage Bakehouse, pretty darned good. Between the savory (Hungarian Chicken) and the sweet (Pumpkin), they were both well made and good. They didn't blow my socks off, but they were good and tasty. The coffees are well made. Their attention to detail, like the small pieces of ice rather than the large chunks, is really appreciated. The Americano was well made. Good view of the ocean, and the street. With limited parking and a small bathroom in the back, this spot is nice, relaxing, and with good treats and coffee to boot, excellent place to stop by next time you're in town.

A beloved and only coffee shop in the immediate area, the Sage Bakehouse offers a beautifully refreshing place for you to collect your thoughts, read, and take it slow at this beautiful beach town. The interior is rustic and cosy, and the servers are quick and reliable. They are known for their pie, which you can take to the beach or as fuel for a full day of hiking. Took a star off for their absolutely milky chai and matcha latte. Don't expect anything too high quality drinks wise, and you'll enjoy your time here !

Great coffee, delicious pie with lots of pulled pork. Super friendly staff. Worth a stop. They also have some nice outdoor seating.

The pie is amazing. Flaky crust and so many fillings everyone will be pleased. Have one on premise and pick up more frozen to go.

Regular HK-style ones are just okay too, nothing standout. Not cheap either (around $3 each these days?), but I guess you're paying for convenience on the Peninsula. That said, it's not bad at all, and when you're in San Bruno/Millbrae and don't feel like driving into SF Chinatown, this is one of the better local options. Not too many solid Chinese bakeries around here, so it fills the gap without being a total letdown. Best egg tarts are still at Golden Gate Bakery in SF Chinatown--no contest. Theirs have that perfect silky, jiggly custard and buttery crust that makes you want to go back immediately. Suzanne's is fine for a quick fix, but if you can make the trip, skip this and head to GG Bakery instead. Solid neighborhood spot if you're lazy like me and want something nearby, but don't expect it to blow your mind.

I really loved this place!…read more Came for a weekend away and walked by this little gem. It's a super cute little coffee shop that has some adorable vintage decorations. They even have some toys for the kids to play... I love a kid friendly place! We ordered several coffees including a drip, zebra latte, lavender latte and toasted Marshmallow one, a Mexican coffee and even a hot chocolate for the kiddos (sorry I forgot the actual names of the drinks lol). seriously all of them tastes amazing!!!! Great quality coffee!! We even ordered some breakfast sandwiches (those are just decent) but the apple fritter was delicious! Also the prices are extremely fair! The guy behind the register was maybe one of the friendliest workers I talked too that entire weekend in Pacifica. Great kid, super personable! My only complaint is that they don't have a location near my house!!!! This would definitely be my new coffee shot! Definitely grab yourself a cup of coffee when you're in town!!!

It looked like there was just one person handling both the cashier and drink orders, but he managed everything really smoothly. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and honey and when he finished it, he realized he accidentally made it with vanilla syrup instead. Without hesitation, he remade it right away and even offered me the first one for free, which I thought was really kind and showed great customer service. The matcha itself was decent but it wasn't nothing mind blowing but definitely good enough to enjoy and sip on. It had a nice balance and wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated. What really stood out more than anything was the service. The guy was friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive, which made the experience better overall. If you're looking for a quick matcha fix in a convenient location with solid service, this is a good spot to check out!
