Granola's Coffee is a great spot to kick back and have a nice breakfast. Love the cozy vibe of this place. It can get very busy on the weekends. Parking can be hit or miss. The baked goods I've tried have been really good! The Ham and Cheese Croissant was FIRE! The strawberry and blueberry scone was also really good. I liked that it wasn't dry. The coffee here is okay. I appreciate their creative menu and rotating specials. My friend ordered the mocha, and it was 50% foam and 50% drink. Whenever I'm craving for a really good breakfast sandwich, I would drive to Granola's all the way from San Jose just to get The Works with Bacon, and avocado on a bagel. It's freshly made after ordering and tastes great when hot. The interior of the coffee house is simple but really sweet. There's cute little elephants all over the place, and nice wooden tables and chairs. There's also outdoor seating for when the weather is a bit warmer (or not, up to you). Their single restroom is spacious and always very clean which is a plus for me. read more

The Food was great! Each morning we were helped right away with no line. The friendly cashier was ready for our order two days in a row. The ambiance was nice with a few different corners indoors to study, eat, catch up with a friend or family. There's also plenty of seating outside to enjoy the pacific air. Stumbled upon this cute little coffee shop on a work visit around the area. Very nice and quiet environment with lots of seating area. Perfect for doing work or for small coffee chats! We made a pitstop here before heading to the pumpkin patch (which ended up being walking distance to Farmer John's Pumpkin Patch). It was a cute little coffee shop! They had indoor and outdoor seating, which was great because we had doggos with us. I got a Lavender Latte and a veggie bagel sandwich. The veggies in the bagel were crisp and fresh and absolutely delicious. The Lavender Latte didn't have an overwhelming Lavender flavor which was perfect! I wish I would've saw the menu on the wall because it seemed like there were other drink and food options compared to their paper menu. It kinda blended in with all the cool decor they had (or maybe I just wasn't being too observant). But it gave me more than enough reason to come back! As for service, it was ehh. The girl at the cashier seemed like she didn't want to be there. Other customer's drinks and food came out in a timely matter, but my latte was forgotten about. I had to go up to them to ask about it. But, you know, balance. Either way, I'd rather stop here for coffee and a quick eat in HMB instead of Starbucks. read more

Granola's Coffee House is the best. It's charming and very beautiful inside. My absolute favorites are the breakfast and protein bars, especially right before my long hike. The other baked goods are absolutely yummy too. What I like most about the baked goods here is the perfect amount of sweetness and organic flavors! I believe all baked goods are gluten free! The coffee is hot, tasty, and fresh. The sitting areas are both indoor and outdoor. The inside is super clean, cute, organized, warm. I've been coming to this place for years maybe a few times a year. Bagels and food are great and the people who work in the kitchen are great. I asked for honey in my coffee and I got some kinda gross syrup which I unfortunately took a big swig of and seemed most of it was at the bottom of my cup. So gross! Anyway, whoever runs this place, they just can't seem to hire friendly cashiers. Usually, it's a guy in his late twenties or early thirties who makes it very apparent that he dislikes his job. Today, it was a young woman, probably in her early twenties, with seemed to have absolutely no customer service experience. She seemed completely bothered that she had to take my order which I had to clarify with her a couple of times and correct the order with the kitchen workers. Argh!!! I was really looking forward to sitting down and decompressing as I am a nurse and my downtime is important but instead of a nice relaxing experience, there was a woman having a Zoom meeting in the lounging area speaking loud with not a bit of consideration for those around her. Now, this is a very small place that sits, at the most 15 people not very comfortably so to have a Zoom going on was so intrusive. The owner should consider posting "Please do not conduct virtual meeting where it can affect others around you who may be trying to relax." It's really strange to me that people don't get that others matter too. So, changed my order to go and left. So, as stated, the food is great, the atmosphere is eh and the front help is a 3/10 and I think that is being nice. With that said, the food is worth stopping in but take it to go cause you'll be more comfortable in your car as I am right now posting this Yelp review eating my food and drinking my coffee. read more

Granola's Coffee House is always my first stop in HMB! They have so many choices for vegans (and for g/f vegans as well). Their baked goods are always a treat and are always carefully labeled. They have two different vegan cookies and I always make sure to grab a protein cookie that I usually try to save for a snack for later in the day. I know how good it is though so sometimes it just doesn't make it to the afternoon! The other cookie is a breakfast cookie. I also get a scone or a muffin if I am there early enough. In addition to having the baked goods labeled they are also good about updating the menu when those yummy treats sell out. My go-to coffee is an oat milk latte, but this day I happened to order a chai oat milk latte. It had the perfect amount of spice. The service is always excellent! I miss sitting outside with the airstream, but there is still plenty of seating outside. I have a favorite table to sit at inside. It's a beautiful slab of wood. This is my GO-TO spot when I am in Half Moon Bay. Sometimes I even force myself to drive there for a coffee and treats. I am a celiac and i have yet to find a coffee shop with so many gluten free options. And they don't cut corners, the food is DELICIOUS. Rec parfait, GF scones, GF bagel breakfast sandwich. Stopped by for a quick cup of coffee and a small bite with some friends before goat yoga at Lemos Farm. Found it on yelp and opted for it because of their great reviews :). They have their own parking lot and a cute little outdoor eating area. The inside also has lots of tables and space to eat. The staff was very sweet and friendly on an early Saturday morning. I ordered my usual almond milk latte with sugar free vanilla and my friends tried their overnight oats and chia pudding. The latte was delicious. I'm not sure what beans they use but it tasted so rich but smooth. Love that they offer multiple alternative milks. My friends really enjoyed the pudding and oats. What a cool find in Half Moon Bay! I was looking for a cafe-like location with some light eats and coffee/tea options, so this seemed like a good option. The place is so cute and cozy, and the layout is unique with rustic, woodsy knickknack furniture and decor. I got the Pumpkin overnight oats which was delicious. It was lightly sweet and I love that the ingredients were so simple with gluten free oats, oat milk, maple, pumpkin, and fall spices. It was the perfect almost-fall light breakfast for me. I also got the matcha latte with almond milk sweetened with lavender syrup which tasted very earthy and slightly bitter in a good way. The matcha latte comes unsweetened, so the lavender syrup added a touch of sweetness. The service was really fast and friendly! Cute place that I'd definitely recommend and revisit when coming to the area. read more

The ambiance is nice here. There is some areas to wait and places to eat food with others. There is a reasonable amount of parking and isn't too busy most of the time. The drinks do take time to come out and are on the slower side. The latte and tea lattes are a bit on the watery side and not that strong. For all the drinks you'll have to add sweetener so it's very customized sweetness to personal taste. The lids are a bit loose on the cups, so be very careful when holding drinks when they're hot. I wonder if the specialty drinks and breakfast here are what makes this place stand out, however it was not for me. read more

Granola's has become my go-to spot coffee & bagel spot when I'm in Half Moon Bay! I've been here about 3 times now and each time is better than the last! They have perfectly crafted lattes & the most delicious bagel sandwiches. The building looks unsuspecting, but it's an absolute gem! Rose Latte (10/10) - this floral latte tasted just as good as it looks! The barista, Cesar, did such a beautiful job on my latte & he checked in to make sure it was the perfect temperature and taste. I've never had a barista that cared so much about my experience. It was the perfect amount of floral & the espresso was smooth & nutty. Dirty Chai Latte (9/10) - pretty standard chai latte. we had this on a different day, so the barista wasn't as caring & meticulous as Cesar, but still a good option! The Works Everything Bagel (9/10) - I need to preface that ALL of their bagel sandwiches are out of this world. I've yet to try one I didn't like. This bagel had crispy bacon, gooey cheese, a perfect fluffy egg, and so much more. Lox Everything Bagel (10/10) - THE perfect lox bagel. It had so much salmon and the perfect ratio of onions and capers. Farmhouse Asiago Bagel (10/10) - YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS!!! i swear the first bite i took of this changed my life... this is the one of the best breakfast sandwiches i've ever had & i wish i could have one every week. If you're more of a sweet-coffee drinker like me, you might not like this place. I ordered a iced rose latte w/ almond milk and I did not like it. It was too bitter for me and there were no hint of rose at all. Maybe the drink will taste better with whole milk/whichever the default milk is, since it'd probably be slightly sweeter than almond milk, and the almond milk didn't really mix in well with the coffee. My bf said he really likes my rose coffee though. He usually drinks black coffee and an avid coffee drinker (I'm not) though. My bf ordered a mocha cold brew for himself and I thought that tasted better (sweeter & smoother) than my drink. I would've given this place a 3 star (or not even leave a review) if I didn't steal a couple bite of my bf's bagel sandwich. He got a "bagel & lox" (? actually, I'm not too sure, but there were caper and cream cheese/ cheese) w/ salmon on the asiago bagel. I didn't even see salmon as an option on the menu lol. The bagel sandwich tasted amazing to me. I originally only wanted to try one bite just to see how it tastes like, but I couldn't help myself from asking for more bites. The asiago bagel was perfectly toasted and it complements the creamy fillings well. The cashier was very nice and patient with answering my questions and I loved the vibe of the coffee shop. Wood and elephants everywhere (even the bathroom). It got very busy around 10:30ish on the Sunday we were there. I've always wanted to try Granolas but have never had the opportunity until today! I got there around 9:45am and it was relatively busy but most people were eating and drinking their coffee/teas so there was no line. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, I think it was The Classic which is just one egg, cheese, and your choice of meat (I got sausage) and then I also got an iced vanilla latte. The coffee was good, definitely needed it and it hit the spot! The sandwich was SO GOOD. Still warm after waiting around 10-15 min to eat and the cheese was so melty! Ambience is very cozy inside, with a nice bathroom. The veggie sandwich unfortunately used old onion that was very bitter and ruined the sandwich, but the hummus and other veggies were good.
