Eggs Blackstone

My lil dude had a day off from school so it was the perfect opportunity to get some pancakes in our tummies. We rolled up to Mavericks' mid rain pour and the place was absolutely packed for a Monday. The staff was busy but that didn't stop them from being super friendly and helpful. They knew folks' names and took the time to chat and ask how folks were doing. 'T was cozy. The menu put us in a tough conundrum because everything sounded delicious even for a vegetarian. I eventually settled on the Eggs Blackstone while my kid opted for an "adventurous" grilled cheese. I added a pumpkin pancake because it's a pumpkin pancake and how can you not. All of it came out delicious. The pancake especially will be something I will still think about often. Can't wait to try their crepes next.

My partner and I love to get the breakfast burrito from Mavericks Crepe Cafe! It's always fresh and our go to option. It pairs well with orange juice as well! The service is amazing and extremely welcoming which will forever keep us coming back!

Holy Crêpe! Locally-owned crêperie that began in 2018, and was later bought by two local sisters back in 2021. Mavericks is named after the local famous surf spot/surfing contest, and focuses on fresh, seasonal ingredients and "casual, slow food." The Good: *Great location right off the PCH in the same shopping center as New Leaf and away from DTHMB, which can get crazy busy. *Free, large shared parking lot *Dog-friendly outdoor dining *Fast casual order and pay at the counter. *Great service by whom I believe was one of the owners, Xenia. She had great patience for our hemming and hawing and a fantastic sense of humor. *Veg-head friendly menu *Gluten-free crêpes available *Sweet and savory crêpes *Nice selection of Italian food, as well, if you're not hankering for a crêpe. *Small but quality selection of bottled beers and wine. *Beer-battered fries were fantastic. Just get 'em. *They don't skimp on the crêpe fillings *My Milano crêpe was fresh, cheesy, and seasoned beautifully. My only wisdom was I wish I had added some bacon in it, as that would've really sealed the deal. *Sweet crêpes were also on point, with great tasting fillings and not too sweet. Plus, I mean Nutella, so... yeah. The Meh: *I didn't care as much for the gluten-free crêpes as much as the gluten-loaded ones. They seemed a bit more firm, which is probably due to the almond flour. The Ugly: *Not that large and can fill up fast during busy hours, but well worth the wait. Conclusion: Delicious crêpes, great service, and a fun, casual environment.

4.5 stars! The service was absolutely amazing, everyone was super friendly. I got the Riviera crepe with a side of potatoes and chicken apple sausage. The potatoes were seasoned well, but I prefer mine a bit crispier. The crepe was delicious, no notes there. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area or visiting!

Nice cozy breakfast spot off the main road. Lots of selection and big portions plenty for sharing. Not pictured was the fluffy waffles the kids had. Was not a big fan of the country potatoes but very filling meal. The friendly host offered great service.

The service was really fast when I got back from the bathroom all the food was already there. It's a family/casual diner and everyone was really nice I highly recommend it.

Fresh Fruit, Maple Bacon, Mimosa, Arnold Palmer

Out of town for a wedding and saw on Yelp this place had good reviews and a wide selection of food for brunch. I got a fruit bowl, it comes in a medium size bowl; you definitely your moneys worth, and included a wide variety of fresh fruit (grapes, blueberries, strawberries, watermelon, honey dew, and cantaloupe). In addition I ordered a side of Maple bacon, the strips were long and thick. To drink I ordered an Arnold Palmer; fresh lemonade and brewed tea; and a mimosa. For the mimosa they used Chandon Brut and the orange juice appeared to be freshly squeezed. Everything we ordered was delicious and used quality ingredients that were very noticeable. You walk up to the counter to place your order, take a number and pick your table. The interior is very warm and welcoming. Plenty of seating for solo or party's of two, four or six. Customer service was super friendly and checked in on us multiple times. I absolutely loved my first visit and will for sure be back when in the area again.

But I ain't worried 'bout it right now (right now) French toast alive, 1999, heroes... Talk to me Goose about breakfast that is. 5/5 Customer Service. Order and pay at the counter. Cashier was very patient with me given the fact that I was so tired and hungry. I've been craving French toast all week and finally got my fix. I know it's a crepe place but I can't pass on FT. Very nice inside or you can sit outside. 5/5 Maverick Breeze was perfect. After drinking coffee in the morning I needed something refreshing and this hit the spot. Mixture of OJ, Carrots, Lemon, Honey and Ginger. 5/5 Parking. Plenty of it. Although on the weekend it can get a bit chaotic. After coming here twice I'll make it a stop when in Half Moon. Be patient during the weekends as it can get very full. But don't worry Ghost Rider the pattern isn't always full. God bless

We had mavericks catered for a baby shower and it was perfect! The food was delicious and aesthetically packaged which i loved. Mavericks was able to provide mains, sides, desserts and drinks. My personal favorites were the quiche, salad and coffee cake. The mom to be loved the desserts. The food was delivered fresh and on time, and the owners were so sweet and easy to work with. I highly recommend mavericks catering!

First timer and tried out the Americano. I wasn't able to take a picture, but it was a pretty basic breakfast. They forgot my toast and it's probably my bad because we left before checking our order. But for the price, I didn't think the meal was worth that much. Wouldn't mind coming back to try more in the future, but not a fan of the Americano.

The Americano was delicious and the sausage tasted the best, and the bread was very good too, but could've been toasted a bit more. The Jamaican crepe was to die for and the bananas were pan fried to perfection. The ambiance was cute and the service was good. We came on a Sunday morning and it was busy and fun!

Let me start by saying Mavericks is much more than just a creperie. They're a full fledged breakfast, brunch, & lunch restaurant. You seat yourself and order at the counter. The menu is HUGE. We definitely had ordering remorse when we saw someone's French toast come out. (Next time!) My omelette was seriously one of the best I've had in a long time, the fries were equally as good, and the rest was just as delicious. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito and loved it so much he never saved me a bite! So that's always a good sign. I would definitely stop by Maverick's Creperie if I'm in the area again. Thanks for the delicious grub!

If you're looking for crepes this is a perfect place for a filling breakfast or brunch. In addition to savory crepes they have a variety of breakfast dishes, sweet crepes, and drinks. You order at the front and sit down wherever you'd like! There's outdoor and indoor seating. I had the Tuscany crepe and it was delicious! It had chicken, pesto, mushroom, cheese, tomatoes and almonds. The flavors matched super well together. The other crepe is the TJ Fajita and it was also super good but it could have used some more spice. Overall, I would love to come here again. They were definitely busy when I went and the wait was long but it was worth it!

Everything was find at first and then they started seating people outside. The door was wide open to allow people to come and go. However, it was very cold outside and our table was near that door. We asked the staff to keep the door closed and they closed it most of the way, but blocked it open with a door stop. This still allowed a cold breeze to come right at our table. My wife's food got cold and she was feeling cold. The staff said that they could do nothing as the door automatically locks. The door was a standard push bar to open. These doors have a mechanism that can be used to unlock the door; however the staff either did not know how their door worked or were unwilling to even try to unlock it. So we were cold and ate cold food. The food itself was good. My wife enjoyed (until they got cold due to the wind) her Lumberjack pancakes with bananas and berries ($11.99) and a side of bacon ($5.99). I had a delicious side order of Linguica ($5.99) with a side of two eggs over easy ($4.99). They should really warn people before seating them by the back door on a cold day when they intend to use the outdoor tables.

It's was Mother's Day when we came here and the wait was pretty decent considering how many people were packing every restaurant everywhere. The nearly 40 minute wait was well worth it once we were served our meals. The stack pancakes were thick but very fluffy. So delicious. We loved the fish and chips too. Very crunchy and fresh tasting. My Dutch Baby pancake had a very interesting flavor profile and I would order this again when I come back. I highly recommend this brunch spot if you're ever in the Half Moon Bay Area. There's an outdoor seating where you can see private planes either departing or arriving. Such a treat especially for the kids. The restaurant is also dog friendly for outdoor seating which is nice. This time my husband ordered the artichoke scramble with potatoes and sourdough toast. I ordered the lox and cream cheese bagel. We both ordered orange juice. Our breakfast totaled $59 which is fairly consistent with breakfast locations in our hometown. First, the orange juice was fresh squeezed and delicious. The artichoke scramble was tasty with lots of artichokes and vegetables. The potatoes were generous and good. My lox and bagel came already prepared on a toasted bagel (many times it will come in components and you build your own which is what I prefer). The cream cheese layer was a little light on the spread. The lox was plenty and it was topped off with slivers of onion and capers. The fresh fruit side was a surprise for this time of year - fresh strawberries, blueberries and apples. Not a melon to be found - yay! Our server was friendly and efficient.
