Strawberry and Banana Smoothie
Harish J.

This is a quaint little store in a busy strip mall. I got the Strawberry and Banana smoothie which was whipped up with great efficiency. The smoothie felt fresh and reasonably priced for the area. Parking can be a challenge depending on the time of the day.

Vietnamese coffee

I love crepes, but only buckwheat, which are hard to come by and taste uniquely different. We stumbled on this place and stunned to discover they have both types of crepe with both savory and sweet options. We got their smoked salmon with a Vietnamese iced coffee ... one was more than enough for us to share. Though in the future now that I know how delish they are, I'll get my own and take leftovers home! Their ingredients are super fresh and execution soooo excellent! The mustard sauce is a must: tangy with a kick. They have a beautiful little semi covered patio, the place to be. The prices are right, customer service on the ball and friendly. Parking is free(they're in a strip mall :-) What a gem of a place--can't wait to go back!

Ham & Cheese w/side salad

I was in the area dropping off dry cleaning next door and decided to grab a bite before heading back to work. The menu is large so deciding what to order took awhile. So many choices that sounded tasty although I ended up with a classic. Unfortunately I didn't notice the outdoor seating as it's off to the side and I hadn't walked down that far. Instead, I ate inside at one of the 3 tables. The interior is nothing fancy at all. Very small, somewhat cluttered and pretty warm considering it was a cooler day outside. I'd defiantly eat outside if I came back. Service was pleasant and my order came out quickly. Strawberry Milkshake - it was fine. Not overly sweet or thick. Ham and Cheddar Jack crêpe - crepe was tender and the filling was pretty straight forward. Nothing out of the ordinary. The side salad was small pieces of chopped lettuce with two small cherry tomatoes cut in half a few slivered carrots and a drizzle of dressing. Maybe my order was just too basic and I should have ventured out to something more daring because I just wasn't wowed here. However they did have quite a few regulars come in and I noticed everyone was ordering the veggie crêpe so maybe that's what I should have tried. Maybe next time.

I'm so glad this place is still in this plaza after all these years. This is a family owned restaurant that serves drinks, gelato, and crepes! There's a few booths for indoor seating, but more space outside that's really nice on a good day. We got two boba drinks and they were delicious. Great service from what seemed like the owner's son and low wait time.

Banana and Nutella Crepe

*1 star for good banana and Nutella crepe that you can't go wrong with. *1 star for their friendly and quick service. Please don't get boba from here because all our drinks were awful. *High mountain jade milk tea - ???????? Tasted like water. Bland af and there was absolutely no tea flavor whatsoever. Got 100% sweet and it was just..... bland????? Like 0 flavor and sweetness. *Green milk tea - ????????? Again, 0 flavor and sweetness. No tea flavor, no milk, no NOTHING. What were those drinks???? We threw both away after a few sips; such a waste of money. Not to mention there were 3 people working but they 1) Gave me HMJ tea instead of MILK tea so they had to remake it 2) Forgot about our Green milk tea Anyway. Get the crepes but not the drinks

Classic Crepe

Stopped in while charging my car. Ordered the classic crepe with lemon and it was GREAT! $9.00 out the door and it was worth every dime. The woman who helped was very nice and even offered water. I ate there and the restaurant was small but clean. Next time you charge your next to Safeway try it out you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

Banana and Nutella Crepe

This little Creperie place is right in our neighborhood plaza next to Starbucks and Safeway. Never really noticed it until one day we realized this is a nice sunny spot for breakfast. So we of course ordered their signature thing which is crepes. Surprisingly my banana and Nutella one was soooooo delicious and presented very nicely as well. He said he love his fruit crepe too. There is only one table outside which is perfect for us. We can sit down with our dog babies. It's a small place but they do have a good menu for a nice breakfast. The service is very attentive as well. Will come here more often for sure.

Giving an extra star to support small local business. It's so heartwarming to see the whole family working together. There's no indoor dining but has about 5-6 small tables outdoor. For $14.50, I got ham, cheese, mushroom crepe with a side salad. Nothing amazing here. For $15.50: smoked salmon crepe with a few pieces of fruit. With the raising cost, I understand businesses have to find ways to cut cost.

Combination Sandwich

First timer & we will def be back! We got the wake up call crepe and their combo banh mi. Both so good! We were able to bring our dog because they have outside seating. The service was great. You can tell it's mom and pop shop which i really like supporting.

Lily's lemon crepe with fresh whipped cream and powdered sugar

Lily's Creperie is a charming small space located in the Crystal Springs Village strip mall in San Mateo. Discovered while charging my EV, this was a great chance to kill time and enjoy an even greater snack. My fiance swore by the lemon crepe and it did not disappoint. I watched Lily make the crepe from scratch, placing fresh batter onto the piping hot griddle and flattening it out into a perfect circle. There's something so satisfying about watching a crepe being made. I love her generous use of butter as well, hoping it was the wonderful type they use in banh mi because if so, french butter is gloriously better. After some ample squeezes of fresh lemon, she folded the crepe, placed it in a to-go container and sprinkled some powdered sugar love with extra love on top in the form of fresh whipped cream. It is a treat worth waiting for, although at the time we went around 2pm, the place only had 2 visitors dining in. Parking is abundant so you should easily find a spot. Which means you should definitely go and give Lily's a visit. Bonus points if you also get the iced ca phe sua da. Amazing iced coffee that is strong enough to wake the dead. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Philly crepe & Thai tea
Nancy C.

Philly crepe: my main issue with this dish is that the bell peppers and onions were still crunchy and not browned/caramelized at all whatsoever. The meat was deli-style sliced roast beef, which is not right for a philly either, but the state of the veggies was what killed it for me. 1/5 Holapeno crepe: I only had a taste of this one, but it was much, much better than the philly. 5/5 Fruit: fresh, acceptable level of ripeness. 5/5 Thai tea: a little odd tasting, my companion commented that it tasted powdered. 2/5 Other: liked the ordering via touchscreen. Service was great. Food came out fairly quickly. Nice, shady, outdoor dining area. Easy parking. 5/5 I'd come here again, to try something else both food and drinkwise.

I was honestly shocked walking into the restaurant and seeing that they expanded into the neighboring brick and mortar space. The ambiance was absolutely divine and felt like dining in a beautiful Italian courtyard. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The staff was incredibly genuine and attentive. Huge credit to the sweet mother to be working the cashier register. I unfortunately did not catch her name, but she was so kind and caring toward my fiancé and I while we dined there, especially since I'm expecting as well. The runners and hosts were also wonderful. You can truly tell they have a great team dynamic. Now for the food... one Bay Area term: SCHMACK. Man, did I miss having such a variety of food items made to absolute deliciousness. I ordered the Palermo, hot chocolate, orange juice, and the Siena sweet crepe with no strawberries. My fiancé had the omelette and the French toast order. Everything was perfect for our cravings and tasted so fresh and comforting. We will definitely be returning with our families to celebrate our little blessing to come. Highly recommend Crepevine if you want food with a fresh taste that truly feels like home.

You can easily share the Crepevine Club with another person and be plenty full. The Burlingame crepe is definitely my favorite crepe. I'll be back the next time we're in town to visit! PS...the expansion looks great and opened up a lot more seating!

My partner likes the BBQ one. I often get the Hawaiian one, sometimes the Sour Cow, or the Tuscan. The Big Belly is really big, with lots of ingredients. The crepes are usually served golden into triangles, which makes them easy to carry. No utensils needed. There's usually to less cheese than I'm used to from other locations, but it's not bad. Note: We usually get ours To Go. The apple caramel dessert crepe arrives cut up into squares, which was surprising. Normally the plain chocolate one we get isn't cut up. This resulted in a bit of a mess when my partner didn't hold the container flat me time. Service is so-so. Definitely order in advance if you can, or you may wait a bit. Ambiance is terrible indoors. Only a couple of small tables and more of a "pick up at the counter vibe." They have a nice outdoor seating area though, if the weather is good enough for it. Parking is usually decent if you park in the lot right next to the restaurant. It's sometimes easiest to enter that lot from Walnut, the street parallel to Laurel, though. You get to it from Olive, going around the back of Bianchini's. The outdoor seating areas and proximity to Bianchini's market make parking on Laurel a bit dicey. I tried the round waffle things once, and wasn't that impressed. Seemed a bit dry. Keep meaning to try the gelato but never have. And I don't drink boba tea, so I can't comment on that. They do stay open later than the other nearby boba place though, so if that's your cup of tea (ha!) then it's an option later in the evening. A solid place, if not the best crepes I've had.

Looking around I saw so many people looking at their watches, waiting for their food to come. Everyone was nice and our coffees/water cups were always filled. Obviously we were getting irritated as our toddler was showing how patient he was by screaming, but everything got better once the food arrived. I ordered the Santa Fe crepe, which was delicious and was the perfect portion size. The crepe itself had a sweet flavor. My toddler's pancakes smelled heavenly that I just had to try. They were thick and fluffy, and also had a tad of sweet flavor. He didn't even need syrup with it. My husband filled up on his big bowl of oatmeal; said they make it exactly the way he does. Hopefully that experience was just a one-off because the food is really good. It is kid-friendly; there is a stack of high chairs available and plenty of seating.

A Fantastic Family Brunch Spot in Downtown Pleasanton!…read more Tucked away on a charming side street just off Main Street, Le Palais Sucré is an absolute gem. We stopped by around noon on a Saturday and were thrilled to be seated immediately--which is a massive win for a weekend! Despite getting a table right away, the place had a great energy and was filled with people enjoying their brunch. They have plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. The food and drinks completely delivered: * The Chocolate Bonus: My son ordered this, and it was a showstopper. A chocolate crêpe packed with strawberries, bananas, and Nutella, then topped with chocolate syrup and powdered sugar. This was hands-down one of the best crêpes we have ever tasted--absolutely heavenly! * Chorizo Omelette: My wife and I shared this, and it was divine. It was served perfectly warm, cheesy, and loaded with spicy pork chorizo, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and pepper jack cheese. * Mushroom Galette: Our second shared item was a savory buckwheat crêpe filled with mozzarella, sautéed mushrooms, and red onions, all topped with a gorgeous sunny-side-up egg. Another really good, flavorful dish. * Ham & Eggs: Ordered by my daughter, this came with a side of home potatoes and garlic toast. It was a solid, decent option that rounded out the table well. The Drinks & Service We ordered a Vanilla Latte and a Caramel Latte. Both arrived extra hot and featured some beautiful art on the foam. The vanilla latte in particular was exceptional--honestly one of the best we've ever had. To top off a wonderful meal, our waitress, Jocelyn, was incredibly nice and attentive throughout our visit.
