Crab and avocado toast is amazing!! The eggs were perfectly cooked and so soft, and there's a good amount of crab. The side potatoes are also yummy - well-seasoned with a good amount of small crispy bits if you're into that! Service was very friendly and kind. We loved eating in their back patio, which is fully covered and has pretty, colorful murals! Had a lovely brunch experience here.

Its a very new item not in the menu. Tried their new chicken club sandwich and highly recommend it very good good.

This is their new chicken club Food is delicious highly recommend Service is also high top. But overall everything is good

Absolutely delicious! Was in the area on business and decided to have a late breakfast. Prices reasonable and taste delicious! After eating my brunch went for a walk on the beach.

Wonderful establishment. Employees are super kinda and helpful. It was super hot today and my friend and I went in to see if they had smoothies. Unfortunately they did not! But we did decide that we wanted freshly squeezed orange juice and freshly squeezed orange/carrot juice. Super delicious. Fresh. And cold. It was perfect for this hot weather today. They're $6.5 each.

Hole in the wall type place with great service and food. The High Tide Salad was perfect and the gentleman taking my order was helpful and extremely courteous. My server was sweet and attentive. Glad I gave theirs place a try.

This place was just okay. I'm sure they have other good dishes, but the two I ordered didn't hit the mark for me. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be coming back. There's a small parking lot, but it's usually full, so you're better off looking for street parking. You place your order at the counter, get a number, and they'll bring the food to your table. Breakfast Burrito: I wasn't a fan. There was a sweetness, likely from the ham, that really threw off the flavor for me. On top of that, the burrito was wet inside, which I personally don't enjoy. Corned Beef Crepe: This was just alright. The corned beef had a flavor or spice I didn't particularly like--probably because I'm used to the flavor of Asian-style corned beef hash, so this version felt off. The fries were great, though--crispy and cooked perfectly since I ordered them well done. As for the crepe, it felt unnecessary. The filling was already folded into the egg, so the crepe just seemed like an extra carb that didn't add much to the dish. Overall, the food didn't work for my taste, but others might enjoy it. I'd recommend exploring the menu to see if there's something more suited to your preferences.

We came here today and ordered the pesto sandwhich w/fries. They were kind enough to ask if we wanted seperate plates. This spot is cute, and i like their outdoor seating area with heat lamps. HOWEVER - towards the end of the meal we just noticed that one of our plates had a curly hair on the fries. See attached. We told the employee and he asked if we wanted anything. I didn't want to be a karen, but just wanted to mention. Too bad we wanted to come back here and try other things. But they just lost our business

Came here for a Sunday brunch with a group of 10 people and were able to find a seat immediately. Plenty of seating space with sufficient parking around the lot. We tried their falafel wrap and fish tacos and the food was really good and fresh. The fish tacos tasted fresh and yum. Will be back to try more of their menu items.

Amazing spot for breakfast! My friend loved her French toast and my bacon and chicken apple sausage omelette was amazing :) the seasoning in the potatoes is perfection and the brewed coffee is a smooth medium roast that doesn't require a ton of cream or sugar. Highly recommended!

Great back Patio, covered, and heater available for those cold days. Wam sunny day today, great brunch omelettes on their way!

Excellent food, many choices of eggs, crepes, sandwiches and more. I had a wonderful chicken pesto cheese sandwich w salad. I also love the egg dishes. The have good coffee, espresso and fast service. The back patio is lovely and covered so foggy days or misty rain is no big deal. The murals make all the walls lively and interesting- very inviting. Fun place for groups.

Creamy, smooth, perfectly balanced, and honestly unlike anything I've had elsewhere. The staff here is always so kind and welcoming, and every latte I've tried has been delicious. Yes, it's a little on the pricier side, but it's 100% worth it for the quality and the experience. If you're in Pacifica, do yourself a favor and stop by. And definitely try the Coconut Cream Latte even if you think you don't like coconut!

The place itself feels a little chaotic, but the staff were kind and welcoming. The pastries were good -- the chocolate chip cookie with salt on top was a standout and definitely worth getting. Unfortunately, the coffee didn't impress. The iced vanilla latte was overly sweet with very little coffee flavor, and the hot coffee tasted watered down, almost like a bad batch. It was honestly pretty disappointing. If you're a coffee snob looking for a solid cup, this probably isn't the place. But if you're more of a Starbucks-style drink person, it's not a bad alternative.

There are some drawbacks like the wobbly tables that never seem to be fixed, excessive dust accumulation above the bench seating, and sometimes the barista playing music too loud. However, now that I've gotten the negative out of the way, let me illuminate the positivity that this place has brought into my life ever since I first came here when I was 9 years old. The Chit Chat Cafe has been a staple for my artistic expression. A home base for my writing and drawing hobbies and a lovely stop off for weekend tunes or to people watch. It seems like there's always at least one person in there reading the newspaper while sipping coffee, or working on their laptop with their headphones on. The baristas have always been friendly, especially Tyler! Such a cool dude w/ charming charismatic energy! I have completed two stamp cards in the past 2 years at this location and the one on the pier. I remember coming here in the storm one day, in 2015, when I was on my bike, locking my bike outside and having hot cocoa & a glass of water, with the wind & rain pounding against the glass. It was such a magical experience, that I decided this would be in my all-time top three cafes in Pacifica. Thank you for staying in business as long as I can remember & providing an authentic Cafe experience in Pacifica! You rock, Chit Chat Cafe! (Gaah I need to take pictures when I write these reviews. The bar was full and no one was in the dining room. Empty at 6:30pm. The prime rib $35 (Fri/Sat only) comes with either soup or salad. Only Fridays will have the clam chowder. The warm bread is so good here. I love the generous butter tray. The soft butter spreads so easily over the warm bread. Instead of the baked potato, I always get the garlic fries at no extra charge. The prime rib is OK, a bit chewy and not aged or herb crusted. I had a hard time finishing it as it got tedious after a few bites. It tasted too plain and needed the au jus and horseradish to be edible. You figure the service would be better as I'm the only food customer. No. The waitress was talking to some customers at the bar most of the time. My water didn't arrive until after my food after I asked for it again. Regardless, she is a long time employee and I'll cut her some slack. Most of the time, she knows what I will order before I say it. I didn't see her elementary school aged daughter hanging out tonight. Sometimes she will wait on tables for her mom, bringing water, extra napkins etc. That's so cute.
