Soooooo good. Located inside the liquor store. They have everything in there. Fresh made sandwiches. Solid menu with a lot of options. There were 3 friendly guys working. One making sandwiches, one restocking shelves and drinks and one working the counter. All nice and chatty while I waited for our sandwiches. Bonus, one of the guys has the most beautiful and well trained Belgian mallinois pup hanging out in there.
They serve amazing sandwiches at this quick mart, and are a location of Miss Tomato Sandwich. There is a good amount of parking for the few businesses on this strip, and there may be a doggo, Max, waiting for you at the entrance or inside! I purchased the Flying Dutchman which is a menagerie of meats, well distributed amongst the other ingredients, on Dutch crunch. You can customize the sandwich in a variety of ways - I got mine cut into three portions. The store is well organized and very clean, much like the sandwiches themselves. They also sell cute local sports apparel, useful toiletries, a ton of drinks, snacks, frozen treats, and in general a lot more things than the average liquor store.
I would have never chanced upon this place if it were not for Yelp. My son and I stopped by for some sandwiches prior to heading to the park and I was surprised to see this sandwich stand inside of a liquor store. It is definitely very unassuming, and I don't think I even noticed a sign (just a menu), but the sandwiches were made just the way I like them! They did not skimp one bit on the ingredients, and they also had dutch crunch for bread options. For ~$15, the size of the sandwiches is astounding and totally worth it. My husband was a huge fan of the sandwich that I got him and his biggest compliment was that it wasn't so overly saucy or salty as other subs tend to be. I wholeheartedly agree with him on that! It's also a huge plus that both the owner and his pup are super sweet. We will definitely be back!

Sandwiches are made on the spot. Open kitchen sorta area so you can see what's going in. Owner was fast and easy with the recommendation. Staff was really good making it quickly and kinda showing me the inside before he wrapped it up. I'm not too much of a fan of using microwave but once in a blue moon is okay. You can also tell them not to if you want, then you can go home to reheat it. The cheese melted just perfectly on the sandwich. This place isn't super close to me or I'd stop by more often. This was worthy to stop by grab and go on the road.

There was plenty of parking in the morning but I could see it getting crowded easily. You are supposed to place your order at the register and pay, with the sandwich station across from it. I ordered the Flying Dutchman on Dutch Crunch. The sandwich was a good size, bigger than Ike's sandwiches (check my photo with a pen for comparison), cut in half. The ingredients were fresh, sauce abundant, and the meat perfectly layered. My sandwich did not have ingredients sliding out when biting into it! The sandwich maker double checked with me about the adjustments I asked for, heated the sandwhich, and sent me off with a paper towel. I have no complaints about the service. The owner took time to talk to customers and was affable. I recommend this place if you're in the area, maybe after finishing a hike on the San Andreas Trail.

There was already a small line of 4 people, however because there was only 1 person making and all the sandwiches were hot, it took about 35-45 minutes to get my sandwich. First thing I noticed was there were no prices anywhere. The sandwiches, chips, drinks and snacks all don't have prices. They not only covered the price with a piece of cardboard but the title "Miss Tomato" is covered as well so I assume at some point the shop was turned over to the current sandwich maker. The sandwiches were a good size, warm and fresh however it is not accurate. I got the Mediterranean sandwich and it did not come with hummus, came with 3 tiny cucumber slices and I would think it's cold since it's Mediterranean. My husband got the Fogbuster and it did not come with basil and spinach. They also seem to be out of some stuff like tuna salad and wheat bread at noon. All in all, the "specialty" all seem to be a regular sandwich with everything on it with the cold cut protein listed. It was good however it wasn't what I expected. The total price for the two sandwiches was $29.98 so $14.99 each which for that price I rather just go to Little Lucca's for a dollar less since they have much more variety and it's better.
I've never had such a bland tasting sandwich. Mayo was there. Garlic spread was there. Lettuce and the fixings with turkey but gosh this sandwich had no flavor whatsoever. I wound up giving it to the dog. It wasn't horrible per se, just absolutely flavorless. The guy seemed nice enough but for $16, I'd rather get a steak sandwich at great steak with fries and a drink instead.
These guys work so hard at their craft. We got two sandies before heading the the beach and really only needed one. Just the shear heft of these bad boys will tell you you're in for a treat. First...this is a convenience store with a sandwich counter. Don't expect a fancy deli with a meat slicer etc. Second, the care put into making the sandwich is just amazing. We were asked about bread options, garlic sauce, etc. high level of personalization into the sandies. Lastly the best ingredients were super fresh and the bread was exceptional. These things certainly weighed more than a pound and the meat was layered so each bite was consistent. We're heading back to try a few more soon.
Okay, so this is cray. I was craving a sandwich and decided to try a new place. It's a sandwich shop but also small market. They have more than one person behind the counter, so even with a line it moves quickly. I ordered the 2 In The Shirt! O M G ! So flipping good !!!! And that drink??? Ordering it off Amazon. Lmmfao. Definitely worth the stop by along the coast for lunch.
Ordered two sandwiches both were amazing. The Italiano and Flying Dutchman had a good helping of meat and veggies. They put their garlic and chipotle sauce on both. Sauces were killer. One of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. Can't beat the customer service as well. Staff were so friendly. Definitely coming back to this spot!
The sanwiches here are high quality. I ordered the Fog Buster Sandwich, and it did not dissappoint. The sandwich was loaded with plenty of meat, and the garlic sauce they used was incredible. The place is very hard to find because it's in the liquor store with no signage. There was plenty of parking in a shared lot.

The service was amazing! Roshan took the time to ask how we wanted our sandwiches and he really cares about how they are made. He was super attentive and very friendly! The sandwiches were delicious and I'm looking forward to trying them again soon. Highly recommend them! read more
Great quality ingredients on fresh bread! What else would you expect from a sandwich shop? Yes, this place is located inside of the Quick Mart! Usually plenty of parking and easy to get in and out of. Several different sandwiches to choose from and plenty of other drinks and snacks in the store to pair with your sandwich. I got the Spicy Mama with everyone on Dutch bread and it was SO GOOD! The chicken were strips instead of slices and all of the flavors paired nicely. The guy making the sandwich was pretty nice too! Worked efficiently. Don't forget that the beach is just a drive down the hill into Pacifica if you're looking for a nice spot to enjoy your food! read more

So delicious you could cry Went here and saw the great reviews and had to try it. The owner takes such pride in the food in ensuring that the bacon was crispy, the bread was perfect and had fresh ingredients. The presentation was excellent. It's nice to feel the care he put into his food. 5 star service. I was greeted by his cute doggy max and had fun petting him while waiting for the Sandwich. So cute and well behaved!! You have to order in person instead of on the phone but it doesn't take away from anything. You can recieve the food hot and ready while he perfects the sandwich exactly as you want. Great customer service, kindness and respect. A quiet environment with lots of parking and next to the freeway. If you're thinking of going, do it! Great spot to grab food quickly without the quality suffering. It's also a corner store so you can get any other things you need to! Looking forward to being back when I'm in the area. What a hidden treasure to find at Ramallah Plaza. Where you'll find a convenient store offering quality sandwiches at a reasonable price. As you walk in you will find a frozen chest filled with Mexican popsicle treats, then in the center is where the deli counter is & you can place your order. With a vast selection of sandwiches, there should be one to please everyone's palate. Order: Flying Dutch-consists of ROAST BEEF, Pastrami, Turkey,Ham, Bacon, pepper jack, lettuce,tomato, & Jalapeño pepper. As I was handed my sandwich I was a little taken back by the weight, it was loaded with so much meat, not to mention the Dutch crunch seemed freshly baked, all the vegetables were of the same caliber as well. Looks may be deceiving, but this sandwich weighed quite a bit, so you definitely get your value for the money at around $15. I hadn't intended on finishing my half sandwich, but it was so fresh, flavorful & too good to eat the following day, that I ended devouring it all. Would highly recommend this hidden gem in Pacifica! read more

Great spot in Pacifica! Located in a local market, it's one of my new favorite sandwich spots. Great service, quick service, and lots of great snacks and drinks in the deli/market. I got the spicy mama and it's was delicious! I added the cranberry sauce to give it an added sweetness, highly recommend! You have to get all the sauces on it, the pesto and hot sauce are super tasty. It's a cute spot, underrated, yet delicious. I will be back. read more
Was in town for some business and was craving a good sandwich and omg. This sandwich shop is on another level. Don't be fooled by it being inside a small wine/liquor store. The sandwich I ate was bomb! I had the Flying Dutchman on Dutch Crunch. The large portion of meat, the fresh ingredients, and the garlic sauce and the secret sauce. All so amazingly delicious. And it was filling too. I can usually take a sandwich down no problem but this one had me full 3/4 of the way through it. I highly recommend this sandwich shop. The guy making my sandwich and the owner were very nice guys. Very polite and friendly. They have a furry friend walking around too checking you out and greeting you as you walk in haha. Hung out with him for ten minutes while waiting to place my order due to all the sandwiches he was making. When I'm back in town I'm definitely getting more sandwiches! read more

One of the best places to get a hot sandwich! The service is excellent and exceptionally thorough. The ambience is liquor store chic. Lol. Grab a bag of chips and a beverage of choice. Take this bad boy back to your comfort zone and chow down! So good, can't tell you enough how delicious this Spicy Mama sandwich is. The owner makes the sauces used. Plenty of parking in private lot, and there's also street parking too and the side of the mart. Tap to pay/Apple/phone pay accepted. I even see locals on the curb just relaxing and enjoying their lives. Great spot, safe and most importantly delicious Enjoy! read more

Oh my gosh, if I could give ten stars, I would! This sandwich shop is an absolute gem. My husband and I stopped by, and we were impressed by the quality and taste. I ordered the Fogbuster, and he had the Flying Dutchman--both were phenomenal! The ingredients were incredibly fresh and I felt like each sandwich was well balanced. Customer service was quick, super friendly, and efficient. I love that it's tucked inside a grocery/liquor store, making it so convenient to grab chips and drinks to go with our sandwiches. They wrap the sandwiches well and throw in extra napkins, which is a nice touch. To top it all off, there are beaches, parks, and hiking trails just a short drive away, making this spot perfect for grabbing lunch before an outdoor adventure. This place has definitely earned a spot on our go-to list! We're looking forward to coming back :) read more

Bought a couple of Hot Pastrami sandwiches on Dutch Crunch bread with the works after church. It wasn't busy since it was only after 10:30am. Bread was on a Panini press to flatten & warm the rolls which were sweet & not too doughy. Meat was generous, Jalapeño slices added a kick, had Provolone cheese & the lettuce was a nice Spring Mix vs. shredded lettuce!! Meat was a good, thick portion & lean too! I think the pleasant Syrian owner was making the sandwich, talking to hubs about being grateful to live in this country without all the violence he left. They both were reflecting on life & hubs said he was a really nice & sincere man. We wish him all the luck for the future & thankful to have found this cool sandwich shop in a mini-mart!! read more
I found this place while researching restaurants/eateries to try during our stay in Pacifica recently. I read about the sandwiches here and drooled. I showed my wife and her family the menu and photos and the decision was quickly made to try this place. Plus, I wanted to say hi to "Max" the GSD at the store. As luck would have it, Miss Tomato was less than two miles from the AirBNB we were staying at, so it would be rally convenient for us to stop by, order, pick up and take back to consume before heading off for a night of fun in the City. My wife, BIL and I walked in ad were immediately greeted by the owner, who while I never got his name, seared is Roshan. But I already read about his GSD, named Max who was behind the counter when we walked in. I greeted Max and he looked at me and promptly went back to his guard (nap) duties. We looked over the menu board and made our choices: 1-Flying Dutchman with everything on Sourdough 1-Mediterranean on Dutch Crunch 1-T.O.P.S. (The Only Pastrami Sandwich) on Dutch Crunch 1-Italiano on Sweet Roll/Bread When Roshan was starting to take our orders, he congratulated us for arriving before he sold out for the day. I believe we arrived on a Saturday afternoon around 1300 and he told us he only has enough sandwich ingredients to make forty-five (45) sandwiches per day. I'm guessing it has to do with the amount of fresh bread that he orders/has delivered to this location. I'm unsure if the Daly City location has the same cut off number as well. We were watching a true artisan at work creating more delectable masterpieces for the world's foodies to enjoy. He began by asking us if we had been here before. Nope, our very first time. So he proudly hands us each a small chunk of bread smeared with a green colored sauce. He described it as his garlic sauce. Let me tell you, it was damn delicious! Then came another chunk of bread with a reddish/orange colored sauce. This one, Rosahan warned us was a spicy. I love hot, spicy foods so this was sauce was also one I liked even though smoked chipotle is not one of my favorite flavor profiles. But I did ask that both stases be added to my sandwich. The three other sandwiches opted for the garlic sauce only. Be prepared to standby the counter while your sandwich is lying being assembled. Roshan asks with every accompaniment on your made-to-your-specs sandwich if you want in included or not. Even if you indicated at the beginning younwanted everyone on your sandwich like the menu board indicates. To me, this show how much Roshan takes his sandwich artistry and how concerned he is with you enjoying your sandwich 100% with no regrets for adding or not adding something. The layers of meat is a very generous portion and is quite fair for the pricing of the sandwiches which I believe was around $12 each. Trust me, you don't get this size, type or quality sandwich at any chain brand sandwich shop or even some of the other Mom and Pop shops in the Bay Area or Southern Calif. There was an elderly lady that was helping out behind the sandwich counter. She was kinda shy and quiet but still very friendly when we spoke to her. Roshan wrapped up our sandwiches and rang up our other drink and chip purchases which came up tom around $85. As I was leaving we chatted for a brief moment before heading back to our AirBNB to eat. Our sandwiches were just amazing! My Flying Dutchman was a mouthful and my jaws hurt from stretching it wide enough to bite into the sandwich plus this was real SF style sourdough bread: chewy, elastic crust and soft bread inside. After awhile, truly good sourdough ( I grew up eating sourdough in the Bay Area from the City) will make your jaws hurt from chewing so much. All the components meshed so well with my sandwich, harmonious in one huge mouthful each time. The sandwich was really filling: I should've stopped at just eating one half of it but it was so damn good, I ate the second half. I was so full after that. Eating dinner at Pier 39 later that night was going to be a challenge. Everyone else enjoyed their sandwiches as well. All felt the same as far as flavor, and how every ingredient just complemented each other. My wife and her Silver both were smart and ate only one half of their sandwiches. MY BIL did the same as me and was feeling as full as I was. If you ever have the opportunity to stop by either of these locations, please do. It is a great place to pick up sandwich and take it to the beach or a picnic, for work etc. And don't forget to say "Hi" to Max! I have added this to my private Yelp repeat list. read more

Who knew that sandwiches inside a convenience store could be so good? The bread is very fresh. They only sell 50 sandwiches a day -until the bread runs out, so plan to show up early. The kind gentleman making the sandwiches also runs the store, so be ready to wait a little bit if there are other customers. With the strong reviews, we decided to try a bunch of sandwiches and would rank them (best to less good): 1. Spicy Mama. Even though the spiciness made me sweat, it was worth it, and you could still taste all the great flavors. My husband wasn't excited about this one at first because he normally doesn't like chicken sandwiches, but he ended up liking this one the best too. 2. Flying Dutchman. The variety of meats offered great balance to the garlic sauce and pepper aioli. 3. TOPS. So much pastrami! This was my son's favorite, and he is quite the pastrami sandwich connoisseur. 4. Italiano. We wouldn't order this one again especially when there are many better sandwiches. The meats didn't seem to pair with the sauces nearly as much as the Flying Dutchman. read more
I was today years old when I learned about the best kept secret on the peninsula, Miss Tomato. A friend took me here after a visit to Fort Funston and even when we pulled into the parking lot I didn't know we were in the right place because there is no sign outside with the name "Miss Tomato" on it. It looks like your run of the mill little strip mall, convenience store/liquor store from the outside, but the inside was so full of uniqueness, local specialties, and killer sandwiches made by a guy who is clearly passionate about his sandwiches and his spreads. He gave us samples of the spreads, made recommendations, and customized our sandwiches with multiple ingredients, all fresh and delicious. I got the Fogbuster. I was only able to power through about 1/2 a sandwich - it felt like it weighed about 5 lbs. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other varieties. Also an incredible selection of interesting chips I'd never heard of, some unique ice cream treats, and a wall of interesting wines and beverages. This will be a regular stop on the way home from Fort Funston (that's for another review, but if you have a dog, or like dogs, GO! It's doggie Disneyland, without the high ticket prices) read more

I was working nearby and had the freedom to grab a bite nearby. I pick out an establishment that is alignment w my current mood and that's a heavy duty sandwich. I didn't expect this place to be inside of a small market and more so expecting a store front. Anyway, there's plenty of parking nearby in the lot and a variety of things to drink or snack on inside the store while you wait for your sandwich. I got the flying Dutchman and had a good conversation with the gentleman constructing this massive concoction. Turns out there's a second location in the not so immediate area, family of theirs and the amount of regulars in line raving about both spots. I was sold before I ever took a bite, but was it hype?!? Before the deli chef put the finishing touches on my Dutchman, he gave me some toasted bread with samples of their pesto and famous sauce(green and reddish orange) and i felt very confident that this was exactly what I was looking for. I was also told from a contractor that I work with that he was a patron here for years, so that meant something.. I ordered mine without onions and tomatoes but I was still met with a plethora of rich flavors that hit all the right notes. It was like music, I say..lol. Anyway, im totally down to try what else they have in store. Everything was fresh and my favorite surprise flavor was the peppers that gave a sweet and spicy kick to put it all together. Way better than subway or dare I say ikes.. Also need to add that I came around 1:30p and was told they often sell out of ingredients early. Still one of the best literal hidden gems for a huge well made sandwich in the Daly City/SSF/Pacifica area. Roshan still crafts every sandwich with the utmost care, offers you free samples of his garlic and chipotle sauces, and still asks you to check his work before your sandwich is wrapped. Pro tip/side note: if you love Haribo gummies, this is your place for the real stuff from Germany :) Keep up the great work, Roshan. Miss Tomato continues to rock.
