The baklava is delicious! The employees and service are great! The menu of sandwiches looks delicious and I look forward trying them some day.

We've been wanting to try their sandwiches because the last time we dropped by, it was some special holiday like Ramadan and they were closed for 1 hr. It just so happened it was the very hour we wanted a sandwich. So thankfully this time, they were open. You can park at the 15 minute green zone in front if you are grabbing a sandwich or something at their store. The zone fits about 3 cars. It's a little grocery store with halal dry goods and food. We took a glance at the menu and decided to order 2 sandwiches and both of us would take 1/2 of each. Service was friendly. This spot has a few tables and chairs outside in case you want to eat it there. We opted to eat in the car because it was so cold out! ***OUR PICKS*** #4 THE BUFF PORTILLO ~ hot pastrami, honey roasted turkey, provolone, pepper jack, good subs garlic spread, spicy aioli, lettuce, tomato, onions, jalapeños on a Dutch crunch roll. A bit spicy, but just a few slices of meat. The bread wasn't crunchy as we had hoped it would be. It was more chewy than crispy. It was a good sandwich but I've had better. My guy wasn't impressed and gave it a 3.5 for food. 3.5/5 #6 POPS SPECIAL ~ good subs chicken, turkey bacon, pepper jack, Swiss cheese, good subs garlic spread, pesto aioli, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles on a Dutch crunch roll. I enjoyed the house made chicken that was not processed. It took a little longer but I'm glad it's healthier, quality meat. It was a bit juicier and messier to eat due to the sauces in the sandwich. The Dutch crunch was chewy and not crisped up. Still good, but could have been better if the bread was lighter and crispier. 4/5 Grocery store is filled with plenty of halal spices, seasonings, products, desserts...etc. It was interesting to browse through while waiting for our sandwiches. Some items are reasonably priced too.

Halal meats and more at Good Subs Market. 15 minutes parking in front of the shop that during my visit had a steady stream of customers. My order, Pops Special Sandwich (Halal Chicken prepared at time of order, about 12 minutes) minus the pickles. The market offers Halal Meats, a mix of Sandwich's, Groceries, and Sweets like Baklava. The staff were friendly, and while my sandwich was being prepared I relaxed outside seated at one of the tables. My Sandwich was tasty, and generous. I will happily come back.

The other day I had a chance to try a sandwich from Good Subs Market. I ordered the SF Special on Dutch Crunch. It was meaty, neatly made, and delicious! Good Subs Market beats anything Subway Sandwiches can offer. (Yes, I tried that Subway a few doors away). Also, the market has a fresh meat counter. Various dry goods, drinks, cookies, and other Middle Eastern items. Clerk was very friendly, and joked around. 30-min green zone right in front of business. So, drop by and try their sandwiches. Tables available outside on sidewalk. That high Yelp score is legit!

GOOD SUBS MARKET is a little Middle Eastern dry goods market at 7622 ECR in Colma, across from Star Smog Depot, where you find a selection of Middle Eastern pantry goods, great assortment of cheeses and yogurts, breads, jar and canned foods. As well as a beautifully curated butcher selection of chicken and beef. The big secret to this market is their small but mighty Halal deli counter! You're greeted once you set foot in the small market. Head to the deli counter, scan the menu, place your sandwich/wrap order, pick out any scrumptious baklava desserts & treats, check out the pantry goods while you wait, and pay for all at the counter. Sandwiches and wraps take a good 12-15 minutes wait but oh-so-worth-it! Saif recommended the GOOD SUBS CHICKEN WRAP w/halal chicken, Good Subs spicy aioli, pesto aioli, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, jalapeños, cheese, and House Mulawah Bread (Yemeni flatbread). This was a WOWEE, HOLY COW! diligently, lovingly handcrafted chicken wrap! Don't know how much was the wonderful new-to-me Mulawah Bread, the meticulously, well-built wrap of fresh ingredients but it came together in a fireworks of flavor! I've been back since first visit but, warning, CANNOT get past the GOOD SUBS CHICKEN WRAP W/MULAWAH BREAD!!!! Addictive! Maybe work your way down the menu and save GSCW for last. That said, my next attempt will hopefully be the POPS SPECIAL, SAN FRANCISCO SPECIAL, ROAST BEEF WRAP, or BROTHERLY LOVE!

Good Subs definitely has potential but there are a few components that are missing that fit my preferences for sandwiches. Good subs chicken wrap- the chicken was cooked perfectly but even though I ordered the wrap with extra garlic sauce, it was super bland. There was no depth in flavor and though the cheese was perfectly melted, the wrap felt one dimensional. The wrap was perfectly toasted and held together well. Pops special on dutch crunch- I order it with extra aioli and garlic spread and again, it was super bland. The turkey bacon was on the drier side and the overall sandwich lacked flavor. I do prefer flavorful and saucier sandwiches, so maybe if you like less saucy sandwiches this place may peak your interest. Quality of ingredients are good.

Staff working there provided friendly service! I will say, we did have to wait almost 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches with only us two in the market! I will not take any stars off because it seems like they had a couple of call in orders too! We literally had this place 2 days in a row, and will probably be back next week! so yummy and a gem to our community! There isn't a place to sit per se, but around the corner there are benches! The shop is actually a market that sells a bunch of snacks and dry goods! It's a vibe ~~ Our order: Dutch Crunch, Good Subs Chicken, spicy/pesto aioli + garlic spread, American, lettuce, onion FIREEEEEE, simple but so yummy! Just look at the pic haha

Needed something to fix my sandwich crave. Stumbled upon this little hidden gem after leaving the gym. Sandwiches did not disappoint and were really well prepared. Definitely a hit and definitely probably my new go to place when in need of a fast sandwich. From the moment I walked in to this establishment, I felt the patience and love they incorporate into the food. I'll be back again soon!

First impressions- Clean, well stocked, smartly organized, and low key friendly service. There's a convenient 15 minute customer parking spot right outside. Solid sandwiches: -Sam's Mighty Sub (Dutch crunch) -Brotherly Love (Sweet roll) -Pops Special (Dutch crunch) *solid, well proportioned, flavorful, and quality ingredients The rest of the shop showcases high quality Middle Eastern finds and flavors. I'm looking forward to my next visit for more sandwiches and market finds. What an added gem to the area.

The chicken wrap is so delicious!!! It's packed with flavor and the aioli sauces with the jalapeños gives it the perfect spicy kick. Cheese pull in every bite and their in house flatbread/wrap is to die for. I called in to order and they were very honest about how long the wait would be which I appreciated. So just keep in mind they're becoming busy so best to call ahead. Aside from their wraps and sandwiches, it is a grocery/convenience mart with exported goods as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful, I will definitely be coming back.

Oh good subs, why so modest? This shop is also a minimart / grocer & top tier when it comes to the food they make. The gentleman who prepares the Wraps, you can really tell puts a lot of care & time into each one that is made. Take it from somebody who goes here often. If you try anything - their Wraps on Mulawah bread is just the best in my opinion, nothing like it! Pop's Special with turkey bacon and marinated chicken hits well with just the right flavors to jazz things up a bit. Try it with the Dutch Crunch for max flavor. At the end of the day there's many good options here, from the familiar to the unique & is great for quick grab-n-go meals.

Food are so delicious and staff members are amazing and friendly

KSM is one of those ethnic markets where you can spend a dreamy time wandering the aisles, unlocking the variety of Asian food products from, Korea, Japan, China, to start. The produce section feels more like an indoor farmers market with its carefully curated and stacked fresh produce. Their varieties of rice alone is worth a visit. Loved the ramen aisle with its varieties. Note if buying noodle packs in bulk, they're located in the front of the store by the cashier stations. Their meat and seafood market in the back, also well-curated, offers cuts of beef, pork or seafood for stirfry, hot pot or barbecue. We were regulars with the pre-marinated beef short ribs, ready for the BBQ. Pick up some Kim Chee, banchan and make a pot of rice. Makes for a nice meal! KSM also offers hot prepackaged meals, sushi, banchan, to go. There also a small eat-in cafe located next to the takeout. You can order hot tofu soup, K-style fried chicken wings along with their barley tea. KUKJE SUPER MARKET was a staple while living in SF and continues to be staple in Daly City. See you there!

As for the store itself, it was clean and well organized, but like the lot, the store is busy like an ant farm. Plus, inside they also had a few free samples which added to that constant movement and energy. While there are a handful of familiar items you'd see in a typical U.S. chain grocery store, most of what's on the shelves isn't traditionally carried in those stores. That's really the point here. The selection here is a wonderful variety, and honestly, massive, from Korea and the other Asian markets. I can't read the characters on the packaging, but with a little time (and Google Translate), I was able to find some upscale brands that are completely new to me. The best way I can describe this experience to people who might not understand, or an experience like this would be new to you, is that if you're old enough to remember, think back to when Stoli was considered a top-shelf Vodka in most American stores. Then walk in here and you'll realize there's a whole world beyond Nissan Top Ramen. It's not that anyone is new to grocery stores, but this is a supermarket in the true sense of the word. This is scale, variety, and specialization all in one place. The selection is immense. It feels less like a quick grocery run and more like a place you go to explore. PS - As for the attached food court, there are only 2 restaurants left open and 1 bakery. I have dropped a review of one of the restaurants.

Review for H Mart H…read moreMart is one of my favorite Korean grocery stores--ever. I remember when they first opened locations in the Bay Area in places like San Francisco and San Jose, and I would gladly make the trek just to shop there. I've never been disappointed. The stores are always clean, organized, and full of incredible food options. What really makes H Mart special, though, is that it's more than just a grocery store--it's an experience. Inside this massive market, you'll find a bakery, authentic Korean food stalls, and restaurant-quality meals being made fresh. It's honestly amazing to walk into a grocery store and have access to food that tastes like it came straight from a restaurant kitchen. Because I travel frequently for work across the Southeast--covering a pretty large region--I'm always on the lookout for an H Mart whenever I'm near one. I've been lucky to have access to locations like Cary, North Carolina, and the one in Buford outside Atlanta, which serves a large and vibrant Asian community. Whenever I'm within a reasonable driving distance--usually within about 10 miles--I make a point to stop in and enjoy a delicious, authentic Korean meal that's made to order and very reasonably priced. I've brought friends and colleagues with me, and they've all been blown away by the food stalls. My personal go-to: * LA galbi (Korean short ribs)--if it's on the menu, I'm ordering it * All the little banchan side dishes--I absolutely love them * Fresh seafood options, including live crab and fish that can be cleaned and prepared for you * A stop at the bakery for dessert--think croissant donuts, almond pastries, or a beautiful layered crepe cake Some locations--even the ones I visited years ago on the West Coast--would steam or fry seafood for you right there, which makes dinner incredibly convenient. Another thing I appreciate is the cleanliness. This store truly rivals places like Whole Foods in terms of organization and quality, even while handling live seafood. The parking lots are typically spacious, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. I also love browsing the aisles for specialty ingredients you can't find everywhere. For example, they carry my favorite laksa noodles, which remind me of a Malaysian dish I fell in love with while visiting a friend in Mauritius. It's always fun to discover unique items like that. The staff--both in the grocery store and at the food stalls--are friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. Bottom line: If you're anywhere near Cary, North Carolina--or even the Buford, Georgia area--do yourself a favor and make a beeline to H Mart. As a lifelong foodie, I truly believe: Life is too short not to eat well.

Located in Daly City's King Plaza, free parking is available in the shopping centre's private lot. Sometimes you can find a spot to park right in front of the store. During weekends, you might need to wait for an available space. Heads-up - the rows of parking spaces facing the Manila Oriental Market are tight, so not the easiest for big automobiles to get out of a spot during peak time. Cleanliness of the interior of the store can be fair to needs improvement. What's worth pointing out is that one of the main areas that could use a good cleaning is the corner where you can order hot food, which really should be the cleanest part of the shoppe. Luckily, there isn't a weird smell, not even in the seafood department. This market carries produce, meat and a wide selection of seafood, plus imported groceries at reasonable prices. Mom can usually find the international fruits, veggies and products that she needs here. When she can't, searching for specific items has shown to be a bit challenging because of the language barrier with the staff who do not speak English or have heavy accents. Oddly, this Filipino grocery store has no Filipino employees.
