Holy moly, Good Subs literally makes the best subs. Ike's and these lame Subway and Quizno's-adjacents need to go bankrupt once and for all. They seem to be a neighborhood staple. I saw so many locals walk in and out, getting their evening sandwich, or shopping for some dates or pantry staples. Walking around the store, they have SO many items from Palestine cola to safawi dates from Saudi and halal gummies. It's a tiny clean shop but it's packed with so much goodies. I ordered the Pop's special with chicken and turkey bacon on dutch crunch (SO FIRE) and lots of yummy swiss and pepper jack cheese just for that lil spicy zing. The sub was SO good, and the dutch cruntch was so good didn't even scrape the roof of my mouth. You can order, then walk around the store since it takes 10-15mins while you wait for a bite of heavenly goodness. The gents working here are so professional and patient. My previous mechanic, who then opened up a Middle Eastern restaurant in this same spot has been replaced by Good Subs Market. I haven't been here in ages and I happen to pass by when I noticed them. I checked their reviews and they seemed legit. Usually, new places that pop up have tons of "fake" reviews. IYKYK! Just like the place is named after, they not only offer Subs, but it's a basically a mini-mart that sells Halal meats and Middle Eastern and Mediterranean grocery items. They also have all types of Baklavas, that were sweet, rich and decadent. I've even purchased my very Turkish Coffee and cezve - a small pot with a long handle designed to brew finely ground coffee over a stovetop or sand. The nice gentleman instructed me on how to brew Turkish coffee. I just googled the rest. Anyways, on my first visit, I ordered their Pastrami Wrap. It's basically Pastrami wrapped in a Pita with all the fixins' but with a twist on the sauce. If l'm not mistaken, it's either Tahini or Tzatziki sauce. It gave it a different flavor that was quite delightful. Be careful though as it can get messy as this thing will drip down your hands and clothes as I found out the hard way. On my second visit, I was so impressed by the wrap that I ordered it again. I was more careful to eat it this time around, but it still dripped down my shorts. That's what I get for eating in the car. They have 10 items on their Subs menu, and they all look good. Aside from the Pastrami Wrap, they also have chicken, roast beef and turkey. They have five meat-type subs and one tuna sub all reasonably priced starting from $10.95 to $14.95, which is a great deal in this day of age. The people working here are very nice and friendly. As I mentioned earlier, the gentleman who was providing me information on Turkish coffee was also looking out for my best interest. Instead of upselling me something, he gave me a more practical advice on what to purchase. I've always passed Good Stubs Market, but never went inside. I thought trying it out on DoorDash would be good since I wanted to know what their menu had and I stumbled upon their chicken wrap! I was also watching another food video the other day that had Sambusas, so I was surprised they had it there. So the first time I tried ordering at this store, my order was cancelled. Probably either they ran out of something or they were unable to serve food. I was like dang :( ok whatever. I tried ordering again and thankfully my order went through! I was so excited to try both the chicken wrap and the Sambusa. REVIEW OF EACH ITEM: -Chicken Wrap: I REALLY LOVE how flavorful this was. I really enjoyed the Malawah bread because it was thin enough to hold it as a wrap, but also flakey with a nice chew. I really loved the flavors of this wrap - it was savory, spicy, garlicky, sour, etc. It was just so balanced of a wrap and that first bite was yummy!! -Sambusa: I only got 1 to try out, but it was good! It was a bit small, the outer layer was a bit dry, but the filling was very flavorful. I think I should have gotten a few of them to have as a snack, but maybe next time I'll get a few more. Lowkey deli market with awesome sandwiches and wraps! - chicken wrap - chicken is cooked to order and takes about 10 minutes but it was so tender and juicy!! Well worth the wait. I also loved their in-house mulawah bread which was soft and pillowy but holds up with all the sauces and chicken juices. 10/10 - would get this again! - San Francisco special but switched to Dutch crunch - the sandwich was very well done. Good ratio of meats to veggie to bread to sauce. I love that the sandwich was full of flavor without being drenched in sauce. The Dutch crunch was amazing. We've been wanting to try their sandwiches because the last time we dropped by, it was some special holiday like Ramadan and they were closed for 1 hr. You can park at the 15 minute green zone in front if you are grabbing a sandwich or something at their store. The zone fits about 3 cars. It's a little grocery store with halal dry goods and food. We took a glance at the menu and decided to order 2 sandwiches and both of us would take 1/2 of each. Service was friendly. This spot has a few tables and chairs outside in case you want to eat it there. We opted to eat in the car because it was so cold out! ***OUR PICKS*** #4 THE BUFF PORTILLO ~ hot pastrami, honey roasted turkey, provolone, pepper jack, good subs garlic spread, spicy aioli, lettuce, tomato, onions, jalapeños on a Dutch crunch roll. A bit spicy, but just a few slices of meat. The bread wasn't crunchy as we had hoped it would be. It was more chewy than crispy. It was a good sandwich but I've had better. My guy wasn't impressed and gave it a 3.5 for food. 3.5/5 #6 POPS SPECIAL ~ good subs chicken, turkey bacon, pepper jack, Swiss cheese, good subs garlic spread, pesto aioli, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles on a Dutch crunch roll. I enjoyed the house made chicken that was not processed. It took a little longer but I'm glad it's healthier, quality meat. It was a bit juicier and messier to eat due to the sauces in the sandwich. The other day I had a chance to try a sandwich from Good Subs Market. I ordered the SF Special on Dutch Crunch. It was meaty, neatly made, and delicious! Good Subs Market beats anything Subway Sandwiches can offer. (Yes, I tried that Subway a few doors away). Also, the market has a fresh meat counter. Various dry goods, drinks, cookies, and other Middle Eastern items. Clerk was very friendly, and joked around. 30-min green zone right in front of business. So, drop by and try their sandwiches. As well as a beautifully curated butcher selection of chicken and beef. The big secret to this market is their small but mighty Halal deli counter! You're greeted once you set foot in the small market. Head to the deli counter, scan the menu, place your sandwich/wrap order, pick out any scrumptious baklava desserts & treats, check out the pantry goods while you wait, and pay for all at the counter. Sandwiches and wraps take a good 12-15 minutes wait but oh-so-worth-it! Saif recommended the GOOD SUBS CHICKEN WRAP w/halal chicken, Good Subs spicy aioli, pesto aioli, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, jalapeños, cheese, and House Mulawah Bread (Yemeni flatbread). This was a WOWEE, HOLY COW! diligently, lovingly handcrafted chicken wrap! Don't know how much was the wonderful new-to-me Mulawah Bread, the meticulously, well-built wrap of fresh ingredients but it came together in a fireworks of flavor! Good Subs definitely has potential but there are a few components that are missing that fit my preferences for sandwiches. Good subs chicken wrap- the chicken was cooked perfectly but even though I ordered the wrap with extra garlic sauce, it was super bland. There was no depth in flavor and though the cheese was perfectly melted, the wrap felt one dimensional. The wrap was perfectly toasted and held together well. Pops special on dutch crunch- I order it with extra aioli and garlic spread and again, it was super bland. The turkey bacon was on the drier side and the overall sandwich lacked flavor. I do prefer flavorful and saucier sandwiches, so maybe if you like less saucy sandwiches this place may peak your interest. Quality of ingredients are good. read more

By far one of my fave spots in the area for a quality sandwich. Its located by the colma bart station and theres street parking and maybe some parking in that little area by the subway. So, I ordered the chicken wrap and it was bursting in flavor! The brotherly love sub was also really good and a must try if you like pastrami. They have plenty of other menu options as well that i'll definitely be back to try. The worker there was pretty nice as well, it was only one person working and he was pretty quick and told us how long it would take. I ordered the tuna melt on their in house flat bread/wrap. This combo was very tasty. Tuna melt came with tuna, swiss cheese, tomatoes, ketchup, mayo, avocado and lettuce. Nothing too crazy but still packed some good flavor. The flat bread was really good and had a nice crunch to it while still being soft. The second sandwich I ordered was Buff Portillo. It comes with hot pastrami, honey roasted turkey, provolone, pepper jack cheese, good subs garlic spread, spicy aioli, lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapeño on a soft roll. This sandwich was packed with tons of flavor from the garlic spread all the way to the spicy aioli. The bread was soft which I enjoyed a lot and the combination of the hot pastrami with the honey roasted turkey was really good. The customer service was amazing and they were very friendly and helpful with telling us about their sandwiches. I look forward to coming back and trying many other sandwiches that looked amazing. Wow, what a hidden gem! I've passed this place so many times and am kicking myself for missing out for so long. My husband and I only have tried their breakfast sandwiches but will definitely be back to try their regular sandwiches. We both got a variation of a bagel with eggs, bacon, cheese and their signature garlic sauce. Oh my, I don't know what's in that sauce but it is addictive. It hit the spot perfectly. There was one guy running the whole show, taking orders and making everything so be patient. It'll be worth it! The sandwiches took 10-15 minutes because we added bacon but we didn't mind.
