A great place to drop by for quick sandwiches to picnic! Ordering was fast and simple-I called in our order including special instructions/preferences and told it will take 15 minutes. Pick up was efficient, and seamless. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathroom was small but kept clean, and we were off, ready to munch on lunch when got to the beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Loved our sandwiches! Medium-sized crunchy fresh bread shell with generous packed flavorful ingredients, the creamiest pate to complement the veggies and meat and bring the whole sandwich together. Ours was the pork and the chicken, and we would order both again.

For a fast and casual banh mi for a reasonable price, Kitten and Pinky delivers. There are no kittens though. My friend and I loved our #5 BBQ pork sandwich for $8.99. The bread tasted fresh and crispy. The pork was juicy. Definitely coming back to support this business.

I got a pickup order, so my review will be based on food. I only ordered the bbq pork rice plate to go. The food tasted home cooked, and pretty decent. I'd like to return to try their pho on one of these weekends.

Stopped for a Vietnamese coffee here in Pacifica and left with some Mayonnaise bread and combo sandwiches (Pate, Pork, cucumber. Cilantro) . Yum! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice little place super fast service![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We are taking these sandwiches to go but they look delicious!

Vegan fresh rolls (4 in an order)

Excellent vegan-friendly spot a block from the beach in Pacifica. Atleast 3/16 items on the menu are vegetarian/vegan. Yay! I got the vegan tofu fresh rolls and they were bomb. It was a large portion with four in an order; enough for lunch and a snack. It came with peanut sauce, a soy based sauce, and sambal. See photo attached. They also had vegan eggrolls and a tofu bahn mi on the menu. The women who run the cafe are so sweet and friendly. Everything is made to order, super fresh, and prepared quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a table for two outside, which was great after the beach with our dog.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A cute, small spot walking distance from the beach![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff are welcoming and made our sandwiches very quick. The restaurant has some inside tables, but we picked up a few sandwiches and ate them by the water. The sandwich is reasonably priced and large portion, no skimping on the meat. The bread and toppings were fresh and good ratio to the amount of meat.

This little family-owned spot in Pacifica is a great lunch and dinner restaurant serving up classic Vietnamese-inspired sandwiches. We grabbed dinner to-go and ate it back at our rental house. We ordered the BBQ Pork sando, the tofu sando, the veggie spring rolls, and the chicken over rice. After ordering, the food took about 15 minutes and came to around $50. Tipping is optional. While I thought everything was tasty, nothing was amazing. The flavors were there, but not all of the vegetables were fresh, and some tasted like they had been pre-prepared hours earlier. The spring rolls were wrapped in plastic wrap, which tells me they were certainly made long before ordering. The pork seemed a bit tough and dried out, same for the chicken. Not bad, but could be better. I would go here again, knowing what to expect, but from what I hear, there are several other Vietnamese places in the area that could be worth trying. I still love supporting a great local business and would recommend this as a great stop on the main drag of Pacifica.

My husband found this restaurant because we wanted to find food before we went to the beach in Pacifica. The place was packed. We got there just a little after the start of lunchtime. Most people seem to be enjoying their vermicelli bowls. They looked really good and fresh and smell delicious. I felt like their prices were really reasonable, especially given the quality of the food. I got the mayonnaise bread which has shrimps, mayonnaise, cheese, and green onions. The bread almost tasted like Texas toast. It was really good. It was cheesy. It had a generous amount of shrimp. It almost tasted like shrimp salad as well. I had never had something like that before so it was nice to try something new. We also got the shrimp rolls with a side of peanut sauce and that was delicious. We asked them to leave the pork out. They individually wrapped each roll, which was so nice because usually the rolls get stuck together and torn, but that didn't happen this time. their peanut sauce was excellent. I think next time we would order a different peanut sauce. We ended up eating on the beach, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]the inside of the restaurant was super cute and quaint and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was so busy that there weren't any tables available, but we would love to dine in another time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I highly recommend this place. It's walking distance to the beach and has super fresh. Super tasty super authentic food. They even have a parking lot.

I heard good things about the banh mi here and decided to forgo my go-to banh-mi spot, Dinosaurs, to try this. Sandwich was just okay. The grilled pork was a bit fatty and the bread was no semifreddis. Saving grace was the banh-mi was much cheaper, but I'd pay a bit more for Dinosaurs any day

Bun thit nuong - vermicelli with grilled pork. Very good and only $8.00!

They do *large* party orders too! We had a birthday party for my little guy and K&P supplied us with 20 banh mi order of different meats. Each banh mi was fully loaded as usual, individual packaged with napkins. Everyone at the party loved the banh mi, so much flavor. Support this local family gem, highly recommend!

Very kind staff, generous portions, and plenty of food and drink options! When I attended I.B.L. middle school many years ago I often went to a vietnamese cafe on the same block for sandwiches but it's no longer there Saw Kitten & Pinky on google maps while back in Pacifica for the day and had to try out their food! I had the combination pork sandwich- it was overflowing with sauce, meats, and had a great ratio of meat to veggie. delicious and honestly unique from other combo pork banh mi i have had as it was both savory and slightly sweet(?). quality meats and i enjoyed it. my sister had the bbq pork , and said it was good! meat portions also looked great.

Good sandwiches. Ordered combo pork and bbq pork sand whiches and 2 Vietnamese iced coffees. Fast friendly service. Family owned and operated. Sweet workers and lots of filling/meaty inside-very tasty! Fresh bread and toasted to perfection with a nice delicate crunch!

We ordered the combo pho, ground pork rice rolls, grilled pork spring rolls, and shrimp papaya salad. The fish sauce was slightly salty, and the grilled pork was extremely salty, we actually preferred eating some of the dishes without the fish sauce. Otherwise, the remaining dishes were good. Customer service was great, but the table was quite sticky, which affected the overall dining experience. The ambience was casual and busy, but felt a bit unkempt during our visit.

Customary at most Vietnamese restaurants, you get your food with minimal check ins and not even a plate clearing until the bill comes. This was NOT the case here. There service was definitely in the A/A+ range! I ordered on my phone via QR code, but there was an option to order in person from a server. I ordered many items to try out. I ordered spring rolls, crispy salt and pepper wings, grilled pork banh mi, beef dac beit pho, and a Thai iced tea. Thai Iced Tea was pretty good. Grade: A I thought the Spring Rolls were decent, but what made them even better was the peanut sauce! I always hate when the peanut sauce is watery and this was far from that! An excellent gooey peanut sauce and maybe one of the best I've had fpr consistency. Grade: A- Crispy salt and pepper wings definitely had an incredible crunch. They were up there in crunchiness. The drumettes were meaty which I appreciated. They were well seasoned also. I think I need to try their other wings before crowning these, but some of the cruncheist wings I've had for sure. Grade: A- Beef Dac Biet Pho had some real high quality meat in it. I had options in noodle and my go-to for any pho spot is the egg noodles. I wish it had more bo vien in it, but I appreciated the combo of meats. The broth seemed authentic, but I wanted a tad more flavor out of it without adding sauces. Overall, the pho grade was a B+ bordering an A-. The star of the show was the grilled pork banh mi. The meat was tender and saucy. In fairness I asked for extra pickles and mayo, but I was very impressed. The bread had the crispy crunch we all look for but minus the stale bread. The breads soft yet crispness made it seem as if it just came out of the oven! I'm going to dub this as the best I've had in the Bay Area! There I said it! Grade: A+ Everyone who ordered the sampler seemed very pleased at other tables, I would definitely try that. Also, want to try the other banh mis and noodle options for the pho. There was a nice vibe at this place. I didn't feel rushed although they do close fairly early at 8pm. The server's mom is the one cooking in the kitchen and I appreciated the family feeling at this place. They do have a newer location in San Francisco that has a DJ Friday nights that I may check out. I believe the server said that they are open til 2am on most nights, but I may have misheard her. Feel free to Yelp that location. My only disappointment was that I really love papaya salad and it was not an option. I may make this my go-to spot from now on, but as a Yelper, we all know we will keep trying new places. This will be the one I continue to frequent. Well done Pho de Nguyen!

The noodles had the right amount of chew and were so satisfying Big GAO Fried Rice 4.5/5 big portioned served with a big piece of bone marrow. When all mixed with the steak and rice it creates a perfect bit. I do wish the salad it came with was dressed but the raw veggies serve as a good palate cleanser between bites House fried rice 5/5 first time getting this and was genuinely surprised how good it was. Parking is not easy around the area, but there are parking lots close by. Food: 3/5 We order 4 dishes: - Imperial rolls $16 3.5/5 (5 small egg rolls with 2 piece of lettuce, herbs, and dipping sauce) decent, but expensive. - Garlic noodles 3.5/5 pretty standard, not amazing - Banh Khot $21 2.5/5 (2 piece of lettuce, herbs, and sauce) pretty sad tbh. Taste was ok, but 1 shrimp and thin batter is disappointing. - Shaking Beef with rice $40 4/5. This was the best dish of the night. The marinaded beef was tender and a good balance of flavors. *On a side note, they don't give you enough lettuce for the Imperial rolls and Banh Khot. If you want more, that'll be $4.50 for a late of lettuce. Also, they don't have any sauce or condiments on the table like they do at traditional Viet restaurants. Service: 3/5 I only have it a 3, and not lower, because the guy that was helping the waiter did a great job. The waiter we had seemed like he was high or on something. Every interaction was awkward. He was not engaging, didn't smile, and took way too long when we asked for chilli paste. He literally forgot about it immediately after we asked. I kept giving him the look, but it didn't register. The Latin guy helping him should have been the waiter and our waiter should have been helping him. Atmospher: 2/5 We sat upstairs. Decent restaurant design. Was really LOUD where we sat. There was an obnoxious group sitting behind us. Overall: 3/5 This was our second time here. First time wasn't great either, but they just opened at the time, and we figure we'd give them another shot. With tip, the bill was about $120. For a Vietnamese restaurant to charge that much and not deliver on what's supposed to be an elevated experience is disappointing. The restaurant is gimmicky, fall short on the dishes that aren't readily available on the peninsula, and the service did not meet expectations.
