We sat mostly on the front patio with a table or two inside later in the evening. Everyone ordered their own food and drinks. Adam and his bar staff took great care of us. They got the first rounds of drinks taken care of then took food orders. The deviled eggs were popular, plentiful, and delicious. I got the fried chicken (again) with a side of real mashed potatoes and gravy. It was fantastic (again). I really should try something else sometime. But others did and I heard no complaints. They serve breakfast any time and a couple got omelettes and cleaned their plates, raving about the hashbrowns (no meat fat to cook, so vegetarian friendly). All the cocktails were good. New seasonal menu had just started and the Marmalade Sour got good reviews. They have a larger patio out back and an ample dining room. It's a great stop when in Georgetown. Pics from my last visit but still accurate.

After leaving yet another distillery, the ladies in our group wanted to head to Georgetown for some shopping. But before the shopping could begin, we needed lunch. We had stopped at Fava's a few weeks earlier with another group of friends for breakfast, and it was excellent. With that great experience in mind, we decided to try Fava's again, this time for lunch. The décor is classic Old Town Kentucky--exactly the kind of place that brings back childhood memories of small-town restaurants. Charming, comfortable, and familiar. We seated ourselves and looked over the menu. I went with the chili cheese hot dog with fries. My wife and one of our friends chose the open-faced Reuben, and the last member of our group ordered the club sandwich. Every dish was excellent. The club sandwich was so large it required a to-go box. Before leaving, everyone except me ordered pie to go-- Fava's pies are legendary, at least to my wife and me. I skipped dessert this time and immediately regretted missing their ice cream options. We dropped the pies off in the car (it was cold enough outside to keep them safe), and then the ladies headed off to explore the shops of Georgetown. And I cannot leave out the wait staff, very attentive and friendly . This was my second visit to Fava's, and both times have been outstanding. I'm already looking forward to our next "shopping trip" to Georgetown so I can enjoy their food again--and this time, I won't miss out on the ice cream.

Not really sure how I feel about this Cracker Barrel. When the server came up to me, she kept calling me, darling, honey sweetheart, and brought me a cup of coffee that was half full that look like it had been sitting on somebody's table when she brought it to me so I asked her to bring me a fresh cup of coffee She had a little bit of an attitude and this was a morning server. Then I come in and I had the sweetest young man Jackson come up and take my ticket order. I told him I would appreciate it if my food would come out hot because I have sat inside the restaurant and been served cold food too many times he took my order And I tipped him well and my food was out in less than five minutes and by the time I drove home, my food was still hot. I was very impressed with him but other times I'll come in and place a tickle order and it'll take me 20 minutes if not longer to get my food and when I get to the car, it's cold and I don't mind but when I know that it's something that's already been made and dip products. I know it doesn't take that long to make. I just think that some places need to really concentrate on customer service and cleanliness a little bit more even the bathrooms are always dirty. I love Cracker Barrel but my name is not sweetheart darling or honey and I have been in F&B for over 35 years and I find it to be very unprofessional
