nice and quiet poké place in cary! we came in around 1:30p and they were only working on a to go order before taking care of us which was perfect for us to look over the menu! i was curious about the matcha edamame rice so i tried half that with half salad along with my order then built my own bowl! i did a regular bowl and chose tuna and tofu as my protein, you get three protein if you order large. the staff was nice and friendly, helped each one of us timely. this was a nice poke place near my relatives so definitely would recommend if you're in the cary area!

I found this spot while looking for a rice bowl place near my hotel, and honestly... this was a…read moregreat find. They offer Pepsi products for drinks, which is always cool. I ordered a teriyaki chicken rice bowl and added shrimp and cheese. The chicken tasted like it was made with chicken thighs -- super juicy, tender, and not dried out at all, which I really appreciated. The shrimp was a nice add-on, and the yum yum sauce was good. Looking back, I probably should've ordered an extra one for the bowl. They have plenty of seating if you want to eat in, and the menu is ordered through an iPad-style system. The server was very respectful and made it clear he was available if I needed help. I personally went with takeout, but both options are solid. Overall, I really liked this spot. If you're in Raleigh and craving a good rice bowl with options, this place is worth checking out. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

It's not your typical hibachi place where everything is cooked on a flat top, this meat is actually grilled to perfection! I kid you not but the vegetables are amazing too! My go-to is usually the Chicken and Vegetable plate. I feel like it's just enough protein along with a daily dose of veggies. I can eat this dish every day if I wanted. The prices are fair for the quality and portions that you get. I can finish the whole plate but if I'm not that hungry; it takes me two sittings to finish. There's a new owner and he's a really cool guy. He's always friendly and willing to help. I appreciate customer service the most. I'm always happy to support business owners like that.

The shirt on the server who guided me to my table through the well-lit, open space read "Ask me…read moreabout 2.99". So I did. This is the price of their house marg. So, of course, I ordered one. A minute or two later, it was in front of me - a goblet filled to the salty brim with a well balanced blend of tequila, lime juice, triple sec and ice. Everyone else at the table followed suit, but the service wasn't so instant. More on this later. We were a group of 9, with reservations. The table was nicely located and not off in a corner. There were 2- and 4-tops all around us. Another long table, this one bar height, butted the end of our regular height table. The servers soon separated them for easier access. Goji y Agave is the product of a partnership between a Mexican chef and an Asian one. There are two menus for food, but you can mix and match between them. Several of us ordered a little from each. Few of us could finish our entrees, the portions were so plentiful! An early snag was placing an order for nine drinks at once - the bar was overloaded, and the servers couldn't get them out together. This created a bottleneck where we could see them on the bar, but could not get to them. Folks were thirsty! This repeated when bringing out food. Once the food arrived, it was amazing, but it was a long wait getting all the orders for a large party together and out at once. Fortunately, it was early on a non-weekend night. Sadly, things were still delayed. But I still recommend going, just maybe don't take the whole gang at once!

The space is very bright and has the unique feel indicated by the name, a little bit of Latin and Asian fusion. For dinner, I chose the red thai curry. It did not take long at all for them to get my food out, which I am very thankful for because I was very hungry. The red thai curry is delightfully flavorful and spicy. There was a decent amount of red thai curry and rice leftover for me to take them home for lunch the next day. The staff got me in, fed, and out the door in about 45 min.

Service was wonderful, check in on the Yelp app ahead of time so you don't have to wait as long…read morebecause this place gets BUSY! For a good reason as well. Even though this time we did not see the robot which is always cool we did have excellent service. Our waitress was quick and attentive, she always helped in any way she could and make great recommendations. It's pricey but for a nice before surgery for my kiddo, totally worth it! Food is wonderful, we did the AYCE silver meals, the youngest did not eat enough for that to been worth the price but the gentleman made up for it. I would love for them to offer more side options or sauce options. The place was pretty clean, busy and a great place for date night, family night, or group get togethers

I came here when I was visiting my in laws, so naturally, I wanted to expose them to KBBQ. Unfortunately, I picked this place because a lot of reviews said its the best and allat, when in truth, this place is one of the worst KBBQ I have ever visited. Not only they stopped serving lettuce wrap (sure, they have it in the menu but they didn't stock it because their lettuce supplier increased the price or whatever), they did not offer any other wrap options like a decent kbbq should have (rice wrap, radish wrap, or shisho leave...etc). The meat quality? It's the cheapest cut you could ever get. The kalbi cut is so thin and tasted old (spoiler alert, they should be thicker and higher quality..), the other unseasoned meat cut is lower quality too. The seasoned meat were so bad I had hard time enjoying it. The bulgogi did not taste like a propee bulgogi and once again, tasted old like it has been in the fridge for too long. The spicy bulgogi was so grainy and not spicy at all, almost like they're using low quality gochugaru. Honestly, you will be much better off buying your own ingredients at h-mart or any asian grocery than going to this place. The only saving grace was the kind server who tends us often. 10/10 will not recommend.

There was no wait time and we ended up getting a carafe of pomegranate soju and we both had the premium dinner. Unless you are a fan of everything listed in the premium, we ate more from the regular list when it was all said and done. The cuts of meat were great! Marinated just right and delicious! All of the sides that came with the meal were great too. Definitely a must if you want some authentic kbbq.

What we didn't like: - Service was very slow. Granted they are new but I've gone to most of the AYCE KBBQ places soon after opening and never had to wait 45 minutes being after seated to get our hands on the meat (which is the whole point of KBBQ)?! We did have to ask the server to check on several items, which isn't too unusual for a new restaurant. - Food tasting off and not quite Korean. We noticed this with multiple dishes--soft tofu stew, kimchi fried rice, KFC, the house spicy sauce(?), et. which was sad since the flavors sort of negated the purpose of the large menu selection for us. - It's really loud inside so you have to lean over the table and scream in order to have a conversation which is not the right vibe for KBBQ imo. I'll be open to coming back in a couple of months by then hopefully the slow service will not be an issue anymore though I won't be rushing back to come back with all the AYCE KBBQ options we have in the area now.

Ole Time Barbeque is now on our must list when visiting Raleigh. We stopped by for the first time…read moreand were blown away by how delicious everything was and how friendly and helpful the staff was. I ordered a combo plate of chicken pastry and bbq pork, with sides of fried okra and potato salad. Everything was served piping hot, just as it should be. The Chicken Pastry (chicken and dumplings) had wonderful flavor and was comfort food at its finest with thick and wide chewy noodle dumplings. So often chicken and dumpling dishes can be overly salty but Ole Time Barbecue's was perfectly seasoned. The barbecue pork also had great flavor and also was seasoned perfectly, though unfortunately I can't do even the most mild of spicy, so even tho there were only a few red pepper flakes, they made it a little bit challenging for me to eat. The fried okra was cooked and seasoned perfectly and not at all oily and the potato salad was also really tasty. I also tasted their coleslaw and mac and cheese from Hubs dinner and both were delicious as well. Also loved their sweet tea, I got it 25% sweet . The biggest surprise was the large basket of tasty hush puppies brought to our table the minute we sat down, and refilled. Also delicious and seasoned perfectly. The location is very homey and diner like, with just a handful of tables so you may have to wait, though luckily we didn't. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was they served their sides in styrofoam containers versus reusable dishes like they use for their main courses. I do love that they're using reusable dishes for their mains so it seems like they could also do this for their sides. Less trash for the restaurant and better for the world... .

Oiso is in a big shopping center, so there is no headache when it comes to parking. But the parking does get busy during dinner/evening time. Service is superb. My go-to dish is Hwedupbap. Think of it like a poke bowl, but Korean style :) I love the spicy + sour sauce (Chogochuchang sauce) that comes with the dish so so much. The portion is GENEROUS! I repeat: The portion is generous. Mama didn't raise a quitter, so I always finish my bowl. But it is hella big for anyone who loves to eat. There were only 3 people managing the restaurant, the server, sushi chef and a runner but they three of them were keeping the flow moving quickly. What we ordered: Fire Station Roll, Rainbow Roll, Crispy Rice with Salmon and steamed gyozas. Everything was delicious! It was my first time having crispy rice, my husband ordered it thinking it would be similar to fried rice but we were pleasantly surprised when it came out. I typically prefer fried gyoza but the steamed was perfect, they came with a lovely light but flavorful dipping sauce. My only critique is I would have liked low sodium soy sauce, I didn't ask for it so not sure if they offer it but I will next time.
