Cute little poke place in Raleigh with a bunch of seating options. I built my own poke bowl with raw salmon and raw tuna and a bunch of toppings. They had a lot of options for protein and for toppings so i liked that a lot. The younger girl made my bowl and the service wasn't the best but it wasn't terrible either, but it definitely affects dine-in experience when someone seems unhappy to serve. Regardless though, the food was really good, pricey for the amount but delicious nonetheless. read more

This is my favorite place to eat! If you see any bad reviews, I bet money that it is because people are unsure of what to try. Do not order the premade bowls (my opinion), but go ahead and order your own. In the bowl in my photo, on the right side, I got 3 different sauces (extra sauce), white rice, salmon, avocado, mango, crab, seaweed salad, sesame seeds, and ginger. Their ingredients are SO FRESH! Please, do not give up on finding your "perfect" combination. The staff could be a little friendlier, their restaurant is a little plain, and they're a little expensive. I was excited to try this place out. The inside is clean although feels like it could use a little finishing around the edges. The parking is the usual Brier Creek nightmare when it's busy but fine when it's a slow time. The bowl I got was pretty yummy! I could see this place being one where if the kitchen gets sloppy it'll start being 3 stars or if the kitchen tightens up quality control a little more I would give it 5 stars. I ordered to go due to a pressing appointment. When I entered the establishment it was so empty, my first thought was I hope this place is as good as they said because from the look of it, it looked really dead. But thankfully the food was great (just as what everybody said)! I like how they accommodated my menu alterations! I really wanted to love this place, and I did love part of it! Portions are sizable and the topping choices are fresh and plentiful. My biggest issue, unfortunately, was the fish. I got the Da Kine bowl, which has masago and Ahi tuna as its proteins. The masago was totally fine, but the tuna was just lumps of previously-frozen and flavorless fish :( Maybe it was a bad fish day, or maybe this is the norm, I'm not sure. The rest of the bowl was AWESOME and I loved that the seaweed salad wasn't overly oily. I might visit here again to try the crab options, but it won't be a regular place for me. read more

Fresh, healthy, delicious and fast!! My biggest concern when eating sushi is probably everyone's - can I trust it's fresh? The tuna I had in my bowl was both fresh and extremely generously portioned- the bowl I received was a huge value for $12.50 compared to sushi restaurant prices where you get much less also. It felt like the roughly the equivalent of two sushi rolls, seaweed salad and edamame portion at a sushi restaurant. So if you are looking to eat sushi at lunch or just on a budget check this place out!!! Also, the menus when you walk in have free coupons you can use on the back! If you are new to poke bowl places like me let the menu guide you. I can vouch the De Kine bowl I ordered was delicious!!!You can add or delete any ingredients because they have an assembly line of fillings and create your bowl fresh (think cava or chipotle). The service is extremely fast due to the restaurant model, and the staff are great about accommodating your bowl requests. Went here recently and the cucumbers were frozen/thawed - was gross, the salad greens didn't seem fresh either. Seems like the quality went down quite a bit, not sure Ill return here. Good but not great! The best part about Poke Bros is the rice. Their rice is fluffy and pairs well with the fresh fish. I ordered the spicy tuna and it didn't taste like like, it just tasted like straight-up fish. There's also a $1 upcharge on the imitation crab, which I had no clue about. I wish there was a sign or something to signify that particular toppings are $1+. For $15+, I could've gotten a quality BOGO sushi from somewhere else. As i worked my way down the bowl, it started to taste bland; even with all of the sauce that i added. I was the FIRST customer at the first location of Poke Bros in Raleigh. I am a huge Poke fan, and was thrilled that there was going to be a new option in the area. I had been checking out the menu since it was announced Poke Bros was coming to Brier Creek. They opened today with a less than exciting or celebratory Grand Opening. This was their opportunity to welcome new customers and show their excitement for their restaurant. I am hoping the team was just nervous, but I really hope they are more engaging next time. I ordered a similar bowl to what I order at various Poke restaurants. For my base, I chose brown rice. They don't offer different sizes. The bowls are priced based on the protein; you can order half and half for an up-charge or additional protein for $3. They charge extra for seaweed salad and masago where most other restaurants don't. They don't have a ton of sauce options, but they aren't bad. They also have a few options for toppings. Maybe I have been spoiled by other restaurants that have more options. My spicy tuna bowl seemed a bit small (most restaurants have 2-3 scoops, but I only received 1), and the tuna didn't taste wonderful. My bowl from other restaurants is usually full but there was plenty of room in my bowl. Otherwise, the food was fine. I realize it is day 1, so I will undoubtedly give them another shot after some time. I really hope my next review is much better. Poke is such an enjoyable meal for me. read more

Decided to stop in for a late-ish dinner (8:30pm) last week because my boyfriend was craving poke bowls and he INSISTED that's what we get. Typically, Zenfish is my go to poke place in the Triangle, but it was too far and we couldn't have made it in time before they closed. So after scrolling through Yelp, looking at the poke bars near us in Raleigh, Poke Bros seemed to be our best bet because they were opened the latest and had more/higher reviews than the others. First off, it seems that they are taking covid safety very seriously here. There was hand sanitizer provided, staff wearing masks + gloves, plenty of space to social distance, and a shield separating the employees and consumers. One of the first things I noticed was that the menu and pricing isn't very clearly laid out. As I was ordering, I was a little confused by the layout of the proteins and toppings. The squid and crab salads are kept with the toppings but you get charged for them as proteins when you order. Also, I didn't realize that seaweed salad and crab salad were $1.00 upcharges either. Seaweed salad is one of my favorite poke bowl toppings so I was a little sad to see the unexpected charge on the receipt. This all may be my fault for walking into a restaurant blindly without studying the menu beforehand, but it wasn't the best experience. Our total came out to nearly $30 for 2 average sized poke bowls. This seemed a little expensive to me compared to poke bowls I get at other restaurants but the quality was good and I didn't have any complaints about the flavors or freshness. I just wish they were either a little cheaper or bigger/had more scoops of protein. Overall, Poke Bros is decent but not my favorite poke bar by a long shot. I would come back again, but for the price, you can find better if you are willing to drive a little farther or order a little earlier than we decided to do. read more

Pretty delicious! I got the salmon based Johnny Utah bowl (salmon) and my partner got the Da Kine bowl (tuna). I love how the sauce doesn't overpower the bowls and everything is in proportion. I got half sushi rice and half salad and the salad still managed to taste crisp! The fish was marinated well, although I do wish the portions for it were bigger. I originally thought the sweet onion would be more pickled in the Da Kine bowl, but it's more on the raw end similar to a typical salad. Lastly, I love the unlimited options for the crispy toppings- more poke places needed crispy fried onions as a topping, it just elevates everything!! read more

I really liked this poke place. They have several options of protein including chicken. This is by far the most protein options I have ever saw at a poke restaurant. The servings are absolutely huge! Why charge $1 extra for seaweed salad?? And then not tell me when I ask for it? It was clearly my first time here because I was asking about size options. And they only have one size, by the way. It'd be nice to have a smaller size for when you're not that hungry and a larger size for when you have a raging appetite. The prices are listed on the board. They vary depending on what type of protein you choose. Toppings are also listed on the board; unless you read carefully before choosing, you might miss that certain ingredients like avocado, crabstick, seaweed salad, and masago are extra. Why do that when a) there aren't many toppings to begin with and b)I'm already paying like 11 bucks for not that much fish? I wasn't too impressed with the other toppings. Corn and edamame tasted like they came out of a can. The pineapple did, in fact, come from a can (it looked gray and not very appetizing) I chose the regular (not spicy) salmon and I was surprised to see that it was just plopped on top of the other ingredients and not tossed in a sauce. The quality was fine. Quantity - maybe 2 scoops. I asked for a little bit of the sriracha aioli and a little bit of the wasabi aioli. The dressings were really watery and just gushed out. Also, the lady making my poke didn't stop pouring when I said that it was enough... The flavors were there but just too diluted. Decent crunchy topping options - I got sesame seeds and crushed cashews. Service was a little cold, though efficient. There are plenty of tables and chairs inside. The place was empty except for one person even though it was lunchtime. The person behind me had ordered online and was just here to pick up his pre-prepared food. Maybe most people get food to-go? It's a good healthy option if you're in a hurry. I would not spend another $13 on a meal like the one I had here. So glad that there is a poke place in Brier Creek now! I stopped by for lunch and had a salmon bowl with a ton of mix-ins including cucumbers, edamame, tofu, and more (all for no additional cost). You get to choose up to 14 mix-ins if I'm not wrong, which is really good for a poke place as I am usually only able to add 5 or 6 options on top of the fish. Also super pleased with the portion size as it was just right for lunch and provided the perfect ratio of rice to fish at a reasonable enough cost. Will be back in the future for sure. read more

They are super cheap when serving the protein, only giving you a single scoop for your bowl when other shops give a heftier amount. And this cheapness doesn't translate in to the price, costing me $11.37 out the door. I guess he forgot to charge for the seaweed salad! I didn't know this prior to leaving as they never offered me a receipt. Did I have a good meal? Yes. I would gladly eat this again. Was it a good value? Not a chance. I just kept convincing myself that it was fiber and NOT eyelashes -I found 2- because I was already halfway through with my food and it wasn't worth the hassle to go back and have it replaced. All I could think of was somebody else's eyelashes on my -UNCOOKED & RAW- food, with the bacteria just swirling around my meal. It was disgusting and ya'll can bet I'm not coming back lmao Went here twice in three days. There's just something about sriracha aioli that keeps luring me back!!!!! I think the price (depending on what you get) is pretty worth it. A little on the expensive side but if ya'll pack on the vegetables, then you're good to go. I find it ridiculous that they have such high extra costs for some ingredients like shrimp in chicken. I mean 8-10 extra $$$? Come on. Staff (asian elderly couple- I think) in this brach are oddly quiet and slightly reserved but friendly. They do their job well and efficiently even if you have to repeat some stuff sometimes. Food is good, although place is always empty (been there twice and both occasions, there was only one other customer there). They have tuna and salmon mainly, and you get to pick between the regular ones and the spicy ones (although the "spicy" tuna is in no way spicy), you get a decent amount if you want a filling lunch, and you can stack on the veggies and a lil bit of toppings - nori seaweed, roe, wonton chips (they only gave me 5 small pieces), etc. Definitely recommend. read more

I really enjoyed Poke bros, they were huge portion sizes and great ingredients. We both got half spicy salmon, half regular salmon but definitely preferred the spicy salmon.
