Still delicious! I haven't been to Poke Burri in quite a while since I don't live in North Raleigh anymore. I had to run some errands near there and I stopped by for some lunch. I got my favorite-the Demogorgon. It was just as delicious as I remember.

About every three months I get a poke craving and always have a delicious meal from here. The soup has dumplings, tofu and sewed in it, in addition to having a great flavor. The fried dumplings come with a sauce that I could eat on everything. The tuna nachos have a great crunch, perfect size pieces of tuna and are so craveable you want to keep eating. The crispy crab and shrimp bowl was a new choice for me and it did not disappoint. When I mixed it up each forkful was a different taste of great flavor. I love the variety of the menu and how hot and fresh everything tastes. You can tell the Chef adds love and care to each dish. I will certainly return.

Haven't been to my beloved, Poke Burri, in a while. I had been craving a poke bowl though and theirs always hits the spot. It's so easy to place your order and pick up from here - I've never had an issue. I always get the Super Poke Bowl that has all of the meats and veggies. It's the best and can feed me two meals. The final cost is around $18, which feels steep but based on quality and amount of food you get is worth it to me.

I came here to satisfy my poke bowl craving and saw the great reviews at this place and wanted to check it out! The place itself is cute to ample amount of seating and when I was ordering, the lady helping me offered me water while waiting for my to go order to be finished which I thought was very kind of her. The order was done relatively quickly which I appreciated. I got the build your own bowl and it is definitely a great portion size as I couldn't even finish it. Everything in the bowl tasted amazing and fresh and it was well worth the price of it. Very glad I got to check this place out!

Poke Burri has quickly become my favorite poke spot in the triangle! Fresh, delicious toppings...innovative menu...great portion sizes.. and super friendly service. My favorite bowl so far has been the super poke bowl, though the spicy tuna kimchee is a close second! My only complaint is that it's about a 30 minute drive from me! I should probably just move closer! XD

Fantastic! I got a make your own bowl. The lady at the front went down the list and explained what I could add and what she recommended and what was popular. The spicy mayo and the eel sauce were really really good. The place was very clean and all the bowl ingredients were noticeably fresh. I will definitely be trying a burrito next time.

Highly recommend! We got there right when they opened, and all of the staff was super friendly and attentive. The young lady taking our order and serving us was so sweet and offered us recommendations. Even being there right when they opened, everything was available to order which generally doesn't seem to be the case at a lot of places. Both of our burritos had the spicy tuna and it had the perfect heat! It was delicious!

Best poke bowl I've ever had, seriously! They had gluten free options for me which was the cherry on top! The staff was very helpful as well. I got a to-go order, but I will definitely coming back with my husband!

Very good, very fresh- kind service !! Definitely recommend stopping in for a poke bowl. They have premade options and build your own.

IF I COULD EAT HERE EVERYDAY I WOULD! The food never disappoints, the quality of the fish is always so fresh! and I can't forget to mention the staff & chef that go above and beyond to make sure I have everything I need. I will never try another poke place again!

Five stars, no hesitation…read more I heard about Sono Sushi through Resy and finally made it in. It's located in downtown Raleigh on Fayetteville Street, right next to the ABC 11 studios, easy to find and a great spot if you're already downtown. The ambiance is great and fits the food well. There's a nice mix of seating, tables along the windows looking out onto the street, high top tables, traditional dining tables, and a sushi bar if you want to sit up close and watch everything being made. It feels lively without being loud, and works well whether you're there for a date night or a more casual meal. We started with the Aburi appetizer, torched salmon belly, ooba, salmon roe, Japanese seabream, yuzu kosho, and ponzu, and it was outstanding. Everything worked together perfectly, rich, bright, and balanced. I also ordered ikura and ebi, even though I meant to order ama ebi, but no regrets there. Still excellent. We shared the Poke Roll with wakame, avocado, cucumber, mango, tuna, salmon, hamachi, and Sono poke sauce, and it was very good, fresh, flavorful, and well composed without being overdone. My wife ordered the spicy miso ramen and loved it. The broth was the star, deep and comforting, and the pork chashu pieces were massive, in a good way. I went with the chicken katsu curry, panko fried chicken thigh with house curry and koshihikari rice, something I haven't had since Little Tokyo in LA a few years ago, and it tasted like home. Comforting, familiar, and exactly what I was hoping for. For drinks, I ordered the "SONO? SO-YES!" entirely because of the name, but also because I love blood orange. Casamigos Blanco tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, coconut cream, simple syrup, and blood orange juice, it was excellent. My only complaint is that I wanted more of it. My wife got the Okinawa Spritz, a play on an Aperol spritz with passionfruit, and it was even better than the original. We finished with the yuzu cheesecake. I debated between that and the ube cheesecake, but since this is a Japanese restaurant, yuzu felt right, and it absolutely delivered. Overall, everything from the food to the drinks hit. This is a place I would happily return to, and honestly, I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

I think it was just at the height of rush hour and they were doing their best- I would just pad your expected time here because it is quite popular. Loud environment, concrete floors with no rugs or anything. LOVED the Gyosa!!! Like table slapping good. Some of the best I've ever tried. Ordered the Grand Piano and Umi Kazan rolls, both good with shrimp tempura but the Grand Piano was far "denser" with the blue crab in the middle. The Umi Kazan was my favorite with the shredded crab on top. I liked the assortment of options and how you could customize if you wanted. Also ordered a Malbec wine- quite good. Our waiter was very accommodating, just slammed for the dinner rush. I'd definitely return! The neon koi fish and paper umbrellas were stunning.

This spot is good for a fancy date night! My husband opted for the lunch special, which included soup, salad, curry, and a side of sushi. He absolutely raved about the curry. I chose the fish wontons alongside the Raleigh roll, which was exceptional; the addition of mango on top was perfect with the lobster tempura for me. I am also always appreciative when a sushi place can accommodate my addiction to add cream cheese to any roll- they made it work! Service was prompt and attentive. The green tea leaned slightly earthy for my taste, but it did little to detract from an otherwise outstanding meal. I would gladly return and recommend this spot to groups seeking high-quality sushi in a polished setting.

Walking in, it seemed kind of small, and we figured we'd have a few options. But looks were deceiving, with only a small frontage on the street, it's very deep, housing easily 20 or more restaurants. They offered the best variety of food ethnicities I've ever seen in one place. Restaurant options offered included a pizza shop, a deli, Italian, Mediterranean, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Mexican, burgers, a southern kitchen, a restaurant of just French fry options, and so much more. Wanting something sweet, they had ice cream, dessert crepe.....SO MANY OPTIONS. The variety was fantastic, and there was plenty of seating, both inside, and out. Staff were regularly, cleaning tables as people left, and bathrooms were well maintained.....the only downside, is you've got to decide where you're going to eat. I'd 100% return to this spot, such great variety, reasonable pricing and convenience.

According to Visit Raleigh, it occupies a repurposed, approximately 22,000-square-foot warehouse that was retrofitted into a communal food hall concept and opened in 2018. I used to work at One Glenwood and frequented it often. I returned again in late December to try Curry in a Hurry, one of the many vendors operating in the hall. The food hall features more than 20 distinct culinary concepts, ranging from casual eats to dessert vendors. Full-service kitchens, snack stalls, and beverage counters all operate under one roof, offering plenty of variety for nearly any craving. Some of the vendors I've ordered from include: Curry in a Hurry - Indian cuisine with bold, flavorful curries. The Chicken Kati Roll is Indian street food at its finest. Opa! - A little taste of Greece. My favorite order is the spanakopita (spinach pastry platter) paired with a Greek salad. Gym Tacos - Vibrant flavors inspired by Mexican street food. Iyla's Southern Kitchen - Authentic Southern comfort food. The Chicken and Waffles sandwich is especially good. In addition, there are many other stalls offering burgers, tacos, sushi burritos, other Mediterranean dishes, seafood, empanadas, desserts, and more. Beyond food, the hall includes two notable bars: The Arbor, which serves beer, wine, and cocktails, and Aunty Betty's, a cozy, gin-focused bar that adds to the venue's nightlife appeal. Morgan Street Food Hall is family-friendly, chic, and dynamic. With varied menus and multiple seating formats, it attracts a broad mix of locals, visitors, nearby office workers, and families. Inside, communal picnic-style tables encourage a lively, social atmosphere, while a large outdoor patio with string lighting creates a vibrant setting. There are also lounge areas indoors that feel more like a relaxed living room. The space works well for groups, families, date nights, casual meetups, and even takeout. It does get very crowded during peak periods, so it's best to plan ahead if you want to secure seating. When visiting with a group, you may need to stagger food orders to hold a spot. The location is within walking distance of downtown offices, residential developments, and other nightlife and dining venues, which helps explain its popularity. When I worked at One Glenwood, it was an easy walk. If you're not within walking distance, parking can be the main drawback. Street parking nearby is reasonably priced if you can find it, while surrounding lots tend to be more expensive. Even though I no longer work nearby, I still enjoy visiting Morgan Street Food Hall--even when it means paying for parking.
