No sooner did Bradley leave after all was checked, I luckily noticed a small leak from the garbage disposal's underside that wasn't there 20 minutes earlier. A call to the office had Bradley back within a half hour with a new replacement. What? Yes! I was blown away. The leak was a godsend because it was found that my old disposal's blades were rusted or 'glued in a static position' and thus were - useless! Probably the cause of my original drain issue! We were visiting my 82yo grandma for Christmas when we smelled gas outside. She has lost her sense of smell from age so we called immediately, since we had no idea how long this had been an issue. The gas company gave us a 4hr window for arrival and ultimately had the gas turned off for the night until we could get plumber help. BEFORE calling The Plumber, we called another "24hr" service who basically said "can we talk during normal business hours" (yea no, they lost our business). The Plumber (the company) answered the phone immediately at 11pm and was extremely helpful and open. He encouraged me to call first thing in the morning to get on the schedule. When I called at 8am, they answered IMMEDIATELY and put us on the schedule. Brad arrived promptly 1hr later, assessed the situation, diagnosed the problem and came up with a plan to fix it. Ultimately, the issue was a corroded gas line that probably has been damaged for years (see photo) to the point that he could snap it by hand & showed us the hole where the gas was leaking out. Brad and his co-worker Paul, worked diligently all day and in less than 24hrs from the time of the original call to the gas company, we were back in business with gorgeous copper pipes and sealed back up with cement!!! Amazing, respectful, professional, highly communicative and charged the EXACT estimate- ZERO secret fees. 10/10 recommend. read more

James is the man!! Honestly, I'll never use another plumber again. The level of professionalism from start to finish far exceeded my expectations. We called The Plumber because we suspected we had a slab leak and James was so thorough throughout the diagnostic process and even more thorough and patient in explaining to us our options in repairing/rerouting it. He even was receptive to my feedback and ultimately rerouted our water supply by going through our stucco, rather than putting holes in our brand new kitchen cabinets. He did this at no additional cost despite making his job much more difficult. He also noticed we had the capability of putting in a pump to recirculate our hot water and did so while we was there. The prices for both jobs were extremely fair, especially considering the attention to detail he took. He even followed up the next day to insure the hot water pump had worked properly. My home inspector reported a bad leak under my master shower so I found The Plumber, supposedly according to their ad "you can trust them with your mother..." Well they were personable and I felt the journeyman lead plumber was very experienced. But he quoted an extremely high price without a written quote, my bad for not demanding a written quote describing the work to be done. He called the work "surgery". Well it was under my mobile home and couldn't have been pleasant and they were already in the park so they arrived quickly and did the work extremely fast so how much surgery could really have been involved is highly questionable. When he came back with the bill and the belated quote, he even called it "gouging" himself. Good lord. Well he tried to say they are middle priced but $600 for a ten minute job is gouging. Still I feel confident in his plumbing credentials though I would never, ever call these people again. read more

I had them install a new water heater through American Home Shield. Aside of what AHS paid them, I had to pay them 700.00 for things that needed to be brought up to code. The installer did a great job and was very friendly. Out of the 700.00 I had to pay 195.00 for the permit. When I called the city for an appointment to inspect the water heater they told me that a permit only cost 49.00. I called "The Plumber" and asked why the charged me so much for the permit and their answer was "labor charge to get Permit". WHAT???? The installer was great which is why I gave it 2 stars but I would never recommend this plumber to anyone. They are a ripoff. read more

We were having pressure issues to the house, and it was most likely the regulator where the water comes into the house. They sent a guy out next day, confirmed it was the regulator, made an appointment to fix it and actually were able to come before scheduled appointment. I actually was able to observe the process being nosy like i am and the gentleman doing the work allowed me to observe as i gave him his space. that said ours was a pretty tricky repair as the original builders did a fairly poor job on these houses in construction.
