Fatman pizza loaded double toppings pizza - A pizza loaded with various toppings such as olives, ham, and cheese, partially eaten, in a cardboard box on a countertop.

Omg omg the fatman pizza at the pickle in markle is sooo huge. I was told it is almost 10 pounds of pizza. Oleys used to sell a big 10 double crust but this is just a loaded pizza!! Just look at that thing!! It's huge!! Why spend $20+ at pizza hut when you can have THIS for around $30!!

Southwest chicken salad

Found the Pickle on our way from Detroit to Indianapolis. Wonderful food and service. I had the Southwest chicken salad, my husband had the tenderloin sandwich basket, we got a kale slaw, spicy pickle chips, and ice tea. Good portions and less than $30 for all of it. This is a bar up front and a restaurant in the back. I only gave it 4 stars because it is a smoking establishment. Nobody was smoking when we were there before noon, but it is allowed.

Typical bar and grill. Very thick smoke atmosphere, horrible for none smokers. Good deep fried shrimp, coconut shrimp was very sweet.

Yep it's smoky. I can't remember the last time I ate in a place where people were smoking. Food is good. Lots of small town charm here.

Allegedly, in 1933, Dillinger robbed the near by police station of guns and ammo. Hence the name...Dillinger's Bar & Grill. Dillinger's is a smaller but wide open restaurant. An inviting bar is centrally located. The wooden floors, ceilings and hand-hued beams are probably original to 1880's business structure. The facility is simple and sports a lot of Dillinger references like the table tops. I found the team here to be very friendly and willing to serve. The menu is fairly large with lots of Dillinger coded menu items to choose from. The prices were very reasonable with decent portion sizes (i.e. no highway robbery here lol). We started with the onion rings. They had a thick piece of onion and equally thick batter. The batter had a bit of a beer seasoning, slight oily taste and a moderately crunch. Really good tasting ring! The side salad was small with a nice mix of simple side ingredients - tomatoes, onions and cheese. My wife had the Wheelman wrap. She said it was loaded with tasty turkey and bacon flavors. She liked the fresh taste. The fries were thinner and crispy. I ordered the Silent Shot breaded tenderloin. It was very thick and juicy. The pork taste really came out nicely. The breading was thick like the onion rings - slight crunch and slightly oily. The sandwich came with all the usual toppings. The Cole slaw was also very tasty. The small slaw pieces were almost diced. The mayo base was slightly sweet with a hint of vinegar. It stuck to the slaw pieces without being soupy. Overall another interesting, out of the way place, with good drops and service... to dine and experience some Americana.

The facility is not overly attractive or inviting. You have to decide which door to use depending on which business you are frequenting. I didn't see any signs for the outdoor seating to direct you to the hostess. The parking lot is large with lots of spaces up close. We were here for food so we picked the door to Grains & Grill. The host was very friendly and kind. The inside looked welcoming. The journey to get to the outdoor seating was a bit of a maze. There seems to be plenty of comfortable indoor seating though it is kind of broken up in disjointed rooms. The outside area was nice. The over hang shielded us from the sun in our evening dinning hours. I found the tables to be a bit close together. There was another party next to our table so we had to be cautious about moving chairs to get situated. The outdoor chairs have a flexible plastic seat. The seat seemed to give more than made me comfortable. The chair seemed a bit flimsy. However, it was comfortable and didn't collapse on me. We started with the fried mushrooms. There were a LOT of small mushroom tips in this order. The batter was thicker and a bit mushy. There wasn't much seasoning flavor to the batter but it wasn't greasy to taste. The mushrooms seemed fresh. The dish was fairly good. The cocktail sauce had a decent amount of zip to it. My wife had the blackened fish tacos. Two came with the order. She loved the fresh taste. Definitely not a fishy taste. Delicious she said! I decided to try the Hoosier Hot Plate. It seemed like a house speciality...so why not! The tenderloin was outstanding! The pork was moist and juicy and moderately thin. The breading was nicely crunchy and moderately thick with a slight greasy taste. Maybe the best tenderloin I have ever had! The tenderloin was laid on top of a bed a real mashed potatoes. You could tell they were real by the lumps I bone smooth consistency. These were excellent as well. Just like mashed potatoes should be that were going to accent the meat. The tenderloin was topped with a creamed corn. I would have been disappointed if this creamed corn was the side dish. It was kind of bland and didn't have much of a corn taste. It was also rather mushy. I didn't think the corn added much taste to the tenderloin/mashed potato taste. Overall...it was an interesting dish that was worth a try.

Our drink order was taken, which was almost all water. Drinks came several minutes later. Orders were taken a few minutes after that. Food did take a bit but not unreasonable. At that time a few people needed more water. It took over 10 minutes before a pitcher of water was delivered to the table by someone other than our server. Bread was requested to the person bringing the water since we hadn't seen our server in nearly 15 minutes. Another 10 minutes and our server comes to check on us. She stated she didn't know about the lack of bread and blamed it on the other employee not telling her. At least another 10 minutes go by and nearly everyone is finished eating when the bread arrives. The food was good and the amount of food was good. All but me had eaten there before. 3 got the Hoosier plate, a couple had the tenderloin, a couple got burgers, and I got the Makers beef tips. All enjoyed their food and only a couple had any left to take home. The mashed potatoes were very good and a large portion. There were several ounces of meat and a good portion of green beans. The food was definitely a 4+. The service was a 2 at best. Along with the poor service, they added the optional 20% gratuity, since we had a party of 8. I knew this was possible since I read it on the menu. Most of the party did not. It was noted on the ticket but it was put very close to the other charges. For some, it was not noticeable. I understand the reasoning behind the charge but if the business isn't crowded and the servers aren't working excessively, I don't believe it's justified. In this instance, it may have led to poorer service since the server knew she'd be getting 20% no matter what.

The bar area is old school cozy, and darker hued. Both areas are beautiful! The kitchen is open (always a plus) and filled with a very talented culinary team. Hosts are warm and welcoming. Service is impeccable with great attention to details, yet somehow, not stuffy. We've dined at Joseph Decuis many times over the years. There was a very brief period when the menu was a bit less than expected, mind you BRIEF, but we were happy to experience an evening dinner this past weekend that was once again par excellence! Exactly why we choose Joseph Decuis for special evenings out! As others have mentioned, it is pricey. However, if you appreciate exquisite freshness, innovation, and preparation (truly an art), and are looking for something out of the ordinary, don't hesitate to make a reservation! We ordered tartar as a starter, and tomahawk Waygu steaks and while they were prepared properly, they were both just so bland. Both my business partner and I left the evening saying, "meh. That was underwhelming." I've had better steaks from my own cast iron pan at home with a sprinkle of sea salt. Another point of contention was that I specifically asked for a green vegetable and I was given carrots and peppers. Nothing green. For a meal that cost an arm and a leg, it was disappointing. Stars are for the great servers and the atmosphere.

I joined my family there for dinner at 7pm on a Saturday night. They were seated , when I arrived , at a table in the middle of the room that sat all 5 of us very uncomfortably. When I sat down I was literally touching backs with the person behind me and neither of us we obese or needing more room than expected for a a guest at a table. So after physically moving our table and trying to position it to a spot where we were not touching anyone else, it was time to order cocktails. We waited 15 mins ( okay it was more like 9) and when you are thirsty that seems like an eternity. When our waitress finally arrive to take our order she was extremely rude and seemed annoyed by our presence. The drinks came eventually and my sister in laws was incorrect. She told the server who then snatched it off the table without a word and walked away. She returned a short time later with the same wrong drink and said it was right and sat it back down. My sister in law, not wanting to make an issue out of it decided not to push the issue any further and took the drink she didn't order. We ordered several appetizers Chicago style oysters and Lobster Mac and cheese were amazing and the complimentary corn bread was also delicious . I ordered a small filet and Brussels sprouts , this was my second time trying filet the first time was terrible. My plate came out so hot you couldn't touch it and you could tell my plate had been sitting under a heat lamp for awhile. My steak was dry and overcooked ( probably from sitting in the kitchen window to long) and the Brussels were mushy and just ok.
