UH-Mazing. First off, the customer service is so good. I have no idea if they assign clients to specific people but the same guy comes out everytime we call; Carlos Martinez. First, it was gophers and he came back week after week insuring there was no more gopher activity. Then we noticed house centipedes and spiders and called again AND LET ME TELL YOU he came like an hour after we called and did a full spray and inspection 360 degrees around our house. I just wanted to give a shout out to Juan at The Pest Experts! We originally met Juan when he came out for a gopher problem we were having. He set the traps and came back a week later and the gopher was caught. He will also come back out each week there after for a month to ensure the gophers haven't returned. He also does a quarterly spraying around our house for spiders and ants or whatever else moves our way. Because we only spray every 3 months, if we have any issues such as ants or spiders (haven't seen any since he's been spraying), he will come back out between visits and spray again for free. Really happy I chose them for home pest control. They were helpful when communicating through Yelp or through the phone or text. They visited for an in person estimate and there was no pressure to hire them. I felt they offered the best value so I hired them for a one time service since we're not in a position to make a long term service commitment. They were fast and efficient and killed all the pests I asked for plus cleared away spiderwebs. Before the warranty period w as up I saw evidence of pests returning so called them and they performed another service under the warranty, no questions asked. We had a gopher in our front yard, I called the pest experts and they came to set up traps two days later! We had a three week program and both first and second week a gopher was captured. Week three no gopher but no new activity so that leads me to believe that we have caught all of them. This is week 3 no new activity and looks like we are gopher free! I did not end up using the service but just wanted to compliment the honest and reliable inspection and quote I received from their tech Eric, who was knowledgeable, friendly and informative. Eric was a communicator, showed up on time, and also took the time to stay and try to correct a fixture that could not be put back on after inspection due to its defect. I felt their quote for initial service was a bit high though even though it did involve installing barriers for rodent control. It could also be because they use two chemical sprays for insects instead of one. In the end I was able to receive options more affordable for me with a different service. read more

This is a long overdue review. However so incredibly deserved. One late night not a creature was awake... well someone was A MOUSE! & I saw it on my kitchen counter Which brought me to Yelp and I messaged SEVERAL companies on Yelp-- mind you this is late Thursday night. The pest experts replied first thing in the morning offering a consultation for the following week and I replied and asked if they could come by ASAP that same day (Friday) and Juan replied yes. And sure enough 10ish am the technician was in my house found the evidence () told me it would be $275 for four visits. He explained him or another tech would come weekly Friday to change out and set traps. Well the very first week the trap caught said mouse.. they came Monday no charge to get rid of it and still came that same Friday. The techs were so kind, answered all my questions, TOP NOTCH SERVICE. Also worth mentioning we knew this was a situation a week prior to me actually seeing it and my husband bought all kind of traps and none worked. So their trap was way better than any of the $80 worth from Home Depot. Honorable mention-- one Friday I most definitely overslept while the tech was at the door and he was totally understanding and came back later that afternoon. I hope to never ever have to call them again cause it's about pests haha but if ever sadly encounter anything gross- I know who I'd call. read more

Okay so just about 2 hours ago, I was outside in our patio and decided to enjoy the weather and have lunch outside. I went to retrieve the patio furniture cushions from the large storage box we use to keep them protected from the elements and after pulling out a couple cushions, I notice bunches of leaves, snails, and ripped cushion foam. I pull one more cushion out in curiosity and I SWEAR TO ALL THAT IS HOLY, A DOZEN HAMSTER SIZE RATS FLY OUT AND ALMOST RIP MY FACE OFF!!!! I ran inside, slammed the patio door closed and locked all the doors and windows and pulled out my phone and got searching on Yelp for an exterminator. Less than an hour after I called, Pablo was at my door with his supplies and safely and QUICKLY removed that disgusting box of vermin infested nasty horrificness out of the patio and off the property immediately without bringing it inside the home (which I begged for while discussing my issue with the dispatcher at the office ) I am absolutely THRILLED with how professional both the lady on the phone and Pablo our technician was. First time ever having a rodent problem and I didn't know where to turn to. I tried 3 types of traps: sticky, high frequency and zappers. None of them worked!! I was so tired of cleaning up their droppings, so I finally hired an exterminator to get rid of those pesky rodents. The technician that came by was Jesus. He was very professional and had excellent customer service skills! He showed me possible entry points where the rodents could be getting in. Also, he let me know that my traps were not working because I was dealing with RATS and not mice. LOL. He set up about 7 traps all around the house. I have never heard a rat trap going off before because I've never had to deal with rodents but I heard commotion up in the attic about 10 minutes after he left. I contacted them immediately and they will stop by to change the traps. I hope that something actually did get trapped so they don't waste a visit. Also, Esmeralda has amazing customer service as well. I feel bad for all my questions and being annoying. :-) read more

Juan contacted me the same day I posted the review. Kudos. Today, 6/9/22, he came out and looked at the condition of the yard. He did find evidences of continued gopher activity and said that he would give me another 30 days of attention to the problem for free. He really wants his customers to be happy with his work and is going beyond the norm to see that this happens. He did suggest that we go from a one time experience to a maintenance agreement which would cover my entire yard with just a monthly fee. He will check each month for evidence of gophers and eradicate them with no extra charges. When we finish the new 30 day period I will see about the monthly agreement. I will review this again in 30 days and hopefully I can raise the stars to five. read more

We have an enclosed yard with four gates, and the gates are always closed because we have two dogs. Because of your carelessness - you left two of the four gates open - my dog got out. And because we live in Mt. Helix, she was attacked by a coyote. You should leave things the way you found them when you go to people's houses. P.S. You were only here for all of 3 mins. There's no way you sprayed the grass, which you are supposed to do, and there's no way you made it all the way around our house in that amount of time. Total Control Pest Management is a great outfit to bring to the house if you find yourself in a similar situation as myself. My wife and I were sleeping when all of a sudden our Staffordshire jumped in our bed and started panting and acting very upset, now that we were both awake we could hear it ourselves. It was unwanted guests!! They were in the backyard and we latter found them to be in our detached garage. Dropping all through the garage. My wife was like, they need a fast eviction notice. The Rats can't stay!! That's when I called Total Control Pest Management. They sent Angel a representative and exterminator to my house. He walked around and identified a few spots for us to install bait box's and snap traps. They were installed that night and Angel told me if you find a trap filled, call A.S.A.P. and we will come back to deal with it. They also set me up on a 4 week return policy to monitor the bait box's and move them around if they aren't getting any attention. Total Control Pest Management eliminated the pest problem almost immediately. After the 4 week initial run my wife and I took out a monthly return police. I called 5 other companies in a frantic after suffering a severe allergic reaction to flea bites that caused anaphylaxis. They are a lifesaver seriously! Juan answered the call (instead of a voicemail where no one called me back like the other companies). After getting injected with all kinds of meds I was finally able to see again and could go back home. The Doctors recommended fumigation of my apt immediately to prevent further damage to my health. I called Juan at 8:30am and he said someone could be there between 9-12p for an estimate. He showed up about an hour later (awesome!) and could complete the process today (thank heavens). I was so impressed with the service of this company from the moment I first called to find out if they could help me. My pet cockatiel had unfortunately picked up bird mites while at a boarding facility over the holidays and I had no idea how to get rid of them. If you have never experienced these bugs, be thankful! These nocturnal insects are awful and extremely difficult to get rid of completely. After trying since January to get rid of them and noticing that my bird's health was getting worse, I finally made the call and the girl on the phone was so helpful and knowledgeable. I can't remember her name, but her customer service was excellent! Angel (the exterminator) was extremely professional and took the time during the consult to answer all my questions prior to my first spray. The mites were gone completely almost immediately and he saved both my bird's life and my sanity! I paid for a second spray as well to be extra cautious because I never want these mites again and it was worth it to follow the recommendations of Angel and the company. Angel deserves a raise!
