You can get chicken parm with filet mignon for under $20... this place has great food with great prices, what else could you want? Oh glad you asked -- Shay took great care of us with an even better smile. Go here with confidence!

They are currently under new ownership and the new folks are great! The food is really good. This is a new dish, ravioli, cream sauce, onions and mushrooms. To die for. I'll have enough for lunch tomorrow!

Turkey and Bacon Club sans the Tomato. Their Onion Rings are homemade and delicious!

My husband and I were in Queensbury to get our first COVID-19 vaccinations and looked high and low for a place to have lunch. Sadly, few places operational for dine-in and far between. We noticed that the Peppermill was open as we passed, so we turned around and decided to give the restaurant a try. We were not disappointed. The tables were alternately utilized so there was an immediate comfort level. Servers wore masks and were very pleasant. Our waitress, Katy, was especially friendly and attentive. My husband and I each selected a Turkey Club (no tomato on mine), mine with onion rings (homemade and very good) and his with French fries (also very good and crisp as ordered). As advertised, the Turkey was fresh roasted and delicious. I treated myself to a strawberry shake. Yum. We will keep the Peppermill on our radar when visiting the area and recommend you do the same.

Broiled Ground Steak And Mashed Potatoes smothered in Mushroom Sauce with Coleslaw

Homie, Friendly, Welcoming, and Hearty. Thats about how id describe the meals here. Super Fresh and Tasty Food. I heard it would be so I ordered the Broiled Ground Steak and Mashed Potatoes both smothered in Mushroom Gravy. Boy did that hit the spot after days of camping up in nearby Lake George. My girlfriend had a Bacon Alfredo Rigatoni Special with Garlic Bread that she Polished Off. Exactly the kind of place thats brings me comfort and Fills my belly when im on the road. And the decor and vibe of the place and very Pulp Fiction Esque. A place youd expect locals and old timers. Highly Recommend! Just a Really Great Joint!

Super cute! Super affordable! Super good! Omg. So homey and just overall welcoming. You're sure to eat good here! And at a reasonable price

Our server was very attentive but chill and knowledgeable. We got the Utica greens to share as an appetizer, a cocktail and Mad Max local beer, then a burger with hand cut fries and a chicken stuffed poblano. Dessert was a passion fruit chocolate tart which we took to go. If you're looking for well crafted food with a creative twist, this place is a great choice. The wraparound porch is just so nice to sit outside and eat in warm weather. They really utilize the space well, as it's covered in colder months so you can still sit there. I was here for brunch on Mother's Day with reservations and was seated promptly. Due to the holiday, parking was not possible in their lot as it can only take a few cars. No matter, as we were able to park nearby. Their brunch menu had plenty to choose from. You were given these small carrot cake muffins to start, then a choice of starter and main along with dessert, wow! You also had a few cocktails to choose from and you could also swap out for a mocktail too. It was extremely busy but the staff was attentive and handled our orders with ease. Their attention to detail was so nice. For starters we had a strawberry salad, French onion soup, tuna tartare, coconut shrimp. For mains, the burger, salmon Benedict, chicken and waffles and a Polynesian style breakfast bowl with coconut shrimp, sticky rice, pineapple and greens. Lastly on a full tummy we had coffee with chocolate mousse, strawberry shortcake and peanut butter cheesecake. Spending the morning here for brunch was the perfect way to kick off the day. Brunch was enjoyed by all. On a side note, I've also had dinner here and you can expect the same wonderful experience. I'll be back again!

I went in tonight, Tuesday, to buy 2 $100 gift cards for Christmas gifts and was told they have been out of gift cards for two weeks and will not have gift cards until January 5th and that I can go online and that I can print a piece of paper with my $100 gift on it...? I explained that this was a Christmas gift and that I would like something other than an 11x13 piece of paper with a dollar amount on it that someone could open as a nice gift. They couldn't help me. (Everyone knows Staples can print such cards in a pinch). I thanked them and said that I would try another local restaurant, the reply was "good luck". Good luck, not apologetic and Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays.....just good luck. How sad that the fabric of society has been reduced to this........ I did go to another restaurant down the street and bought the gift certificates from a very gracious bar tender, who I happily tipped and exchanged Christmas greetings. Looking forward to a nice meal and old school charm elsewhere.

The warm focaccia served with oil and balsamic could have been my whole meal....super delicious. Yes, I'm a glutton and ordered a second helping of said bread. Overall, it's a very nice space that definitely gets loud when it's busy. My advice is to not be in a rush and don't go hangry if you're dining during prime times. We did order cocktails/mocktails, appetizers, main dishes AND dessert. Everything took quite a while (except dessert and coffee arrived quickly). We all enjoyed our entrees and thankfully, each other's company. We were there for about 2 and a half hours from start to finish.

This warm cocktail was a total delight and absolutely hit the spot. We started with the house bread. I know it sounds like "just bread," but the texture was perfect, and the ricotta honey spread paired with it nicely. For entrées, I had the chicken schnitzel. It was crispy and well-executed, and the beurre blanc was silky and rich. I think it would have been even better with spaetzle, but the portion size was generous on its own--I'm just a starch girlie. My husband ordered the bolognese, which was flavorful and came in a healthy portion. He ended up taking some home, which we love because leftovers are never a bad thing. For dessert, we shared the pot de crème. The balance of caramel, saltiness, and chocolate was the perfect finish. The chocolate was rich and smooth. It did not disappoint. We had the opportunity to check it out following a wake in Queensbury. Our drinks were very good. My Limoncello Spritzer really hit the spot. My husband was delighted that his Bloody Mary did not include any olives (lol). However, $18 is steep for tomato juice, folks. We shared the Brussel Sprouts as a Starter. Both of us ordered the Crab and Scallop Cake Benny which was topped with hollandais, served on a bed of arugula and accompanied by tasty potatoes. Absolutely delicious! Our server was very nice. She seemed to be handling a lot of the tables and managed it well. We were not rushed nor did we feel neglected. It's a small place, cozy and welcoming. Love the china. There is a parking lot and also street parking. The menu is limited. If you have fussy eaters, you may want to check it out online before making a reservation (which is recommended). I would have given them 4-1/2 but the system doesn't allow it. We will definitely return.
