    Buttermilk Pancakes and Bacon

Fantastic experience! Easily one of the best breakfast places in the area. The prices are extremely reasonable considering how much food you get. The place is clean, the staff is attentive and friendly and the food is so delicious. Everything came out quickly and the waitresses were on top of refilling our coffee and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The pancake was deliciously spongy and it was humungous! The omelet, potatoes and toast were all cooked perfectly. The sandwich my husband got was fantastic and also huge. Can't wait to go back!

This is a small but mighty local diner. It's always busy, but definitely worth the wait. Their menu is updated daily with specials and it's hard to choose what to order, but you can't go wrong with any breakfast item. Their pancakes are huge. One is easily enough to share between two people, but has great fluff, crisp and flavor. Their corn beef hash is one of the top I've had and worth ordering if you haven't tried it. This diner has stood the test of time and will continue to be one of my favorite local places when I come back home to visit.

Cute little local diner. Service was great, our waitress was friendly and we didn't have to wait long to sit or get our food. We got the Irish Benedict, home fries with peppers and onions added. A breakfast sandwich deluxe, egg, Cheese, sausage and bacon. The picture shows a little bacon but there was a lot under the cheese. We also got Texas French toast. Everything was delicious.

I was in town for a quick visit after almost 10 years, and I knew I had to go to triangle for their eggs Benedict. After all this time, I am SO happy to say that it is just as good as it was back then! Nothing has changed (other than some covid dividers), and the staff are still just as friendly as ever. The coffee is delicious and the bacon was crispy. I am so relieved that all is just as wonderful as it was back then! Thanks for the great time!

Great breakfast, great service. This is an old school diner. The food is simply great diner food and service. Loved our breakfast- good coffee, eggs the way you like them, i especially enjoyed the Canadian bacon here. Yummy. They have more than breakfast, in case you are in the mood for more lunch style items. If you are in Saratoga, be sure to grab breakfast at this iconic diner.

So, three days after I left the 5-star review below, I went back. First time, I had the Irish Benny at my server, "Star's" recommendation. This time, I had to try one of the daily omelet specials. I asked Star if it was available. Although no longer that day's special, she asked if they could make it. The kitchen did, and it was an amalgam of deliciousness! Plus, they substituted a warm chocolate chip muffin for the slice of apple pie (slight upcharge). Talking w Star (in between bites), I learned that the daily special omelet changes daily (duh, as I point to my forehead and say, "part's on order"). One of her faves is sausage, walnuts, goat cheese, and spinach. Star also mentioned they do amazing things w Brussels sprouts and beets in an omelet. No pics this time. See the ones below. 5 eclectic stars

We didn't have to wait long. I think maybe like 10 minutes. It's a small quaint restaurant on Phila Street not far off of Broadway. We walked here from our hotel (Hilton) as parking anywhere/everywhere in Saratoga can be a challenge. There is street parking right in front of Sweet Mimi's but it'll probably be taken so you should probably just walk. And you'll appreciate the walk to help burn off a few calories of Sweet Mimi's delicious offerings. (And there are plenty to partake in.) We enjoyed the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and the Mediterranean Omelette. We did not leave disappointed. In fact, our tastebuds and tummies were so happy with our choices. The omelette actually came with the same challah bread that the french toast was made from. If I lived closer, I'd be buying that challah bread every week. It's so freakin' good! The french toast is HUGE! Really... you should share it. The several bites I took were incredibly satisfying. The cinnamon was just right. And because it was already sweet... we opted to forgo the syrup. The french toast also came with a bunch of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries!! The med omelette was filled with sausage, spinach and tomatoes. I loved every bite. I don't know when we'll be back tin Saratoga... but I will definitely be coming back to Sweet Mimi's when I do.

I love when local eateries are well-loved because they deserve it. 9 Miles East Farm certainly does! A lot of the folks who came in for dinner wanted to sit on the terrace to bask in the last couple of hours of sun, but being from Florida I get overdosed with that and sat inside. I'm glad I did, the playlist reminded me of a Sunday picnic without being either. However, the atmosphere felt like that, even indoors. The owner was super personable, and the server was just the right amount of attentive. I ordered the chicken piri piri, and it presented beautifully. I felt comforted by the food. The tender grilled chicken parted from the bone with a twist of my fork and the mashed sweet potato was a great partner to the savory, citrusy, and slightly spicy piri piri. Im not even a chicken thigh person, but this dish changed me. I actually felt tended to and taken care of by the food! Does that even make sense??? It did when I was eating because that's how I felt. And the crazy thing is, I've been here once before. I loved what I ate, but it didn't feel like this. It's been a rough couple of months, but after this meal and listening to the carefree, but intentional music, it lit up my mood and my spirit. This will definitely be one of my go-to's when I visit Saratoga Springs, and I highly recommend 9 Miles East Farm to anyone. I think that a lot of people feel like they're visiting a friend's place when they come here. I definitely did.

Despite reviews warning about long waits, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. I walked in and was seated immediately. The menu had a huge selection, but once I saw grits listed, my decision was made. I ordered a simple breakfast: two eggs over medium (or close to it), toast, home fries with peppers and onions, and of course, the grits. Everything was good--the eggs leaned more toward over easy--but the real standout was the grits. They were done exactly right: not runny, not stiff, just perfectly creamy. This is the first place north of Virginia I've found that actually gets grits right. The staff was friendly, and the coffee was solid. I didn't notice a restroom, which was a little odd, but the place is small, so it might just be tucked in the back. Overall, definitely worth a visit. This is a tragedy. And that is not a word I use lightly either…read more What kind of person buys a gem like Mrs. London's and doesn't take the time to learn the recipes, master the craft, and maintain the standards of what was once arguably the best boulangerie and patisserie in America? Seriously, there is someone here to blame. What is their name? I want to know. Sure, it's not a civil or criminal offense. But it's a crime against food. It's a crime against the people of Saratoga Springs. And it's just plane offensive. I regret if anyone was driven to try Mrs. London's based on my previous glowing reviews. I am so sorry. I had no idea. But I was just there this morning. I gazed into the pastry case at the croissants, and my heart sank. I felt sick. The croissants looked like something you would see in an airport. I think the croissants at Costco might be better. These were flat, flabby, and pale things. Far from the perfect, golden, flaky, structured, glistening beauties of the past. And this isn't about fond recollections. I have receipts. Photos from the past and pictures of the present. It's night and day. If the new owners aren't going to preserve Mrs. London's food, they should have the decency to put someone else's name on the joint. I too asked about the breads, and was told "their baker retired". Fortunately, Michael London taught other people to bake amazing artisan bread, and his legacy lives on elsewhere. Unfortunately, nobody at the shop bearing his name bothered to pick up the torch. What a shame. It is so sad. I am literally heart broken. This was one of my favorite bakeries in the country. I went out of my way to make a special stop in my limited time passing through the region. But I suppose nothing lasts forever, and this is a valuable reminder of that unfortunate fact. My days visiting Mrs. London's are over. I can no longer recommend it in good conscience. Perhaps the hot chocolate is still good, and the decor is still lovely. However, if you look closely at the glowing reviews, they all point back to a time that has now sadly passed.
