COMFORT BURGER
Simone A.

Sooo decided last min to take a trip to Toga..cause what else would one do on our rare dry, hot day!! Did some shopping, walked and worked up an appetite! The spot we originally chose to eat was closed!! However, I remember the Amazing butternut mac and cheese ( can't wait for this fall dish!) from Comfort Kitchen, so we decided to try there burgers! We got the Comfort burger and O.M.G....delish! The young lady greeted us warmly and took our order...we choose a seat and waited for our meal! The burgers and fries came hot, fresh and goood! The pickles fresh, the straw fries had crisp and a little chew of a freshly made straw fries! The House Spritz was ! 10/10 If you haven't been there yet, what are you waiting for?! Sorry took a few bites before I remembered to take pics!

Hatch and Ham Griller

Bright spot, friendly service, and quite possibly the greatest grilled sandwich I've had.... Ham & cheddar grilled with hatch chiles on sourdough, say WhAaT. Complimented with a lovely fresh tomato soup. Ready for that ‍tournament now! Thank you

A good friend of mine and myself stumbled upon this gem of a place walking passed and catching a delicious whiff of the french fries. We had to go back and we are sure glad we did! This food was so good and simply done! Mila was our waitress and was on point with everything and was so kind! We will definitely be returning soon!

We came in today, on Easter. I was hoping to find somewhere that wasn't too busy and would give us a nice lunch- we were pleasantly surprised! Everything we ate was fresh and tasted homemade. The server was friendly. 5 stars from us!

Great food (healthy, delicious) in a semi hidden location. Indoor and outdoor seating. This is a place I always enjoy eating in when I'm in Saratoga!

While looking for a quick bite we stumbled across this great option after passing by some of the more upscale sit down options on Broadway. The order at the counter and take a number style was more our speed today. The smash burgers were tasty (if you don't mind the well done smash burger style). I had the apple and Brie burger. I had hoped for a little more apple taste but it was still delicious. The fries were unique. Thinly sliced and cooked to a medium crispy brown, they had more of an overcooked potato chip vibe. I didn't hate them. I was hungry and ate them but found myself wishing they were golden and filled with fluffy white potatoes. Maybe they just overcooked the batch and served them to all 4 of us and hoped we would just think it was their unique way of cooking fries. If that was their plan, it worked haha. If that is the way they always cook fries; not a great plan. The outdoor seating was a little cramped but pleasant.

Loved this place. Order at register, find a table, they bring your food. Great to take a rest while shopping. Food was amazing!

Bread is from a local bakery and worth ordering. The hamburger comes highly recommended but I tried the pasta special which was excellent. My wife love her halibut but my daughter who is vegan didn't love her cauliflower entree. The hazelnut tart was exceptional. The restaurant is cozy and has a good ambiance. Reservations are a must unless you want to see if there is room at the bar. We plan to return at future trips to Saratoga.

I was looking for a restaurant to go when we were in Saratoga Springs in this restaurant looked…read morelike it had a really good menu so we decided to go there. I requested to sit at the chef's table because I really do like to see what's going on in the kitchen and our reservation is at 7:15 and we arrived a half hour early and we're able to be sat so that was nice. We were greeted by one of the servers in the restaurant and then shortly after another came by and asked if we wanted still or sparkling water and that our server would be there with us in a second. It took a little bit longer for our server to come by and he took our drink orders. The line chef started to realize that our server was taking quite a while so we asked us what he wanted him to start so that he can relay it to our server when he got around to us, and I thought that was very nice and great that he recognized that we were waiting for quite a while. Our server finally came back with our drinks and asked what we wanted to get started and we told him that they already started our appetizers. He also didn't come back for quite a while after that and he finally asked us what we wanted for dinner and he didn't ask how the food was or anything. He just said OK cool and put in our food order. When we got our actual entrée, I had the New York strip steak and my husband had the scallops and they were very good. We ordered those entrées because the line chef said they were good and we wouldn't be disappointed and we were not. Our server finally came back around after everyone else buster plates and asked if we wanted anything for dessert and we already made up our mind what we wanted. I ordered the coconut rice pudding and my husband ordered the pistachio cheesecake. Both of those were also very good highly recommend them if you have room at the end of your meal. Our server then came back with our bill and just randomly said he took off one of our desserts because of the weight which was nice but he didn't really acknowledge anything else. We thought it was very odd but also we were happy about that. This restaurant was very good and I think the staff is very in tuned to what's going on in the restaurant if something is not as it should and they communicate to others if they need to start food for people or accommodate other people's needs so that's the only reason that I'm giving it a 4 because the server we had wasn't great but the food and everything else was awesome.

I'd come back just for the rolls, they were so soft, fluffy, and light with the perfect flaky salt on top to balance with the whipped honey butter. Delicious! Everything else was also great, the hanger steak is also tender and loved the hash that came with it and the crab spaghetti had ample crab meat in it. Presentation was gorgeous. When our waiter came to take our drink orders, I asked if the specialty lattes that were available at Mrs. London's Bakery, which is attached to the restaurant, and I was told no. I honestly thought the two businesses were affiliated and didn't understand why that was the case because you could order a pastry basket for the table. I think having specialty drinks from Mrs. London's would really elevate their brunch experience. Just my two cents! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. I tried the asparagus and mushroom omelet, which came with home fries, and really enjoyed it. I definitely recommend making reservations if you're visiting on a Saturday or Sunday, and don't forget to grab some pastries to go from Mrs. London's on your way out!

We had a reservation through RESY (Amex Rewards), and when we arrived right on time, the hostess let us know there were no tables available yet and that the wait would be about 30-40 minutes. We completely understand that weekends are busy, and we never expect to be seated immediately, but we had just come from an athletic event and our kids were starving. Since it was a busy weekend, we decided to wait rather than scramble to find another spot. The menu looked very appetizing and we ordered a breakfast plate for our son, tomato soup, lobster pizza, and a burger. The breakfast was solid, your classic bacon, eggs, and potatoes. The tomato soup looked beautiful but was a bit underseasoned, and we felt the same about the lobster pizza. Everything was presented really well, but the flavors just didn't quite match the visual appeal. Our server also seemed to be juggling quite a few tables, so refills were a little hard to come by, which we completely understand during a rush. That said, the ambiance is wonderful. It's lively, welcoming, and absolutely beautiful inside. We truly wanted the food to match the vibe and hope this was just an off day, because it's a great spot with a lot going for it.

I got the bolognese and my mom said the sauce in mine looked like vodka sauce. In any event the food was good. The place is pretty small, packed with lots of tables so it's bustling, it's loud (not a bad thing), and there's a lot going on. The one negative about it being a small place is that unfortunately we had to listen to a server complain to one of the managers for about 5 minutes about another co-worker and that was definitely not what we wanted as part of our experience. This place seems to care about presentation, as they are obviously a popular place to go in Saratoga Springs so this was definitely a little off-putting. This is not the case here - all of the food we had was made in house, and you could taste the difference. The beer battered fries had a thin flaky coating that made them irresistible. Don't even get us started on the boneless wings... also, the ranch and blue cheese dip were out of this world. Guess what? HOME MADE. Honestly, they had a ton of potential, but they didn't deliver. The calamari was soggy instead of crispy. The balance of other items was pretty off. It looked pretty, but didn't taste good. The calamari was bitter in addition to being soggy. The balsamic glaze added a sweetness, but it wasn't offset by enough salty/spicy. It was served with a tomato sauce that didn't go well with the toppings. It was an odd dish. If it wasn't so late, I might have actually sent it back (which I do probably once every 10 years). Fresher, crispy and less bitter calamari might have been enough to fix the balance. My dinner companion had a sandwich with a bun, lettuce, apple slice, fried chicken, cheese, and bacon. I think it might have been a special. It was ok. It came with Saratoga chips, which is why we picked the restaurant. We wanted to get Saratoga chips in Saratoga.
