The food is solidly average pub fare, not bad and perfectly serviceable, but it shouldn't be your primary objective if you're a foodie hunter like me. But on a main drag littered mostly with mediocre bar-restaurants charging tourist prices for tourist indifference, I'll take "just fine" as a win. I'm not much of a drinker but my husband liked his can of Copper Legend lager so much that he ordered another one to go. The Calamari, Flat Iron Steak, and Tenderloin Tips + Gnocchi were also really good, but the wings were the star for me. For this is, indeed, a log structure, or one created to make you think it's one. The salads are serviceable, chopped into 4" strips and piled high with cheese, croutons, and dressing.
