We have been wanting to check out the new location at Bridge Park for the past few months since it opened. As a fan of the Short North location, seeing this beaut of a restaurant pop up so close to home pleases me greatly. The ambiance is similar to the other location, but there is more space, more art, and beautiful high ceilings and chandeliers that I wish I took pictures of. There are two stories of outdoor seating with personal glass encased fire pits. It's truly the perfect setting for summer nights out with small socially distant groups of course! The menu is almost exactly the same as the one downtown with a few minor differences. We got the cornbread appetizer and smoked salmon which comes with a deviled egg. All were delicious but for anyone that loves cornbread I would highly recommend that above all. So delicious. I also had the fried chicken which comes with creamed corn and a sticky bun. Also amazing. Plenty of food as well, and the leftover chicken and bun were such a treat this morning. Other notes, my mom loved her Moscow mule and the tator tots were literally out of this world. The service was also incredible as well. All in all it's definitely a must if you're headed to Bridge Park! read more

I didn't even realize The Pearl is in Dublin as well. This was a nice little surprise and change of scenery from their Short North location. The food is just as good as their other location. I tried their jalapeno cornbread as a starter. The cornbread was perfect with taste, texture, and enough moisture to not be dry and crumbly. It is served with a little bed of butter and honey. For dinner I got the fish and chips which was equally delicious. The dish was cooked to perfection that I didn't even need to douse it in malt vinegar. I ended up eating the whole plate of food. There is indoor or outdoor patio seating available. Reservations are recommended as Dublin is a busy area. read more

Where do I start... hmmm let me say this...this place is gorge, its in a nice area in Dublin and sits on the water! My server was John and he was awesome! He recommended the Burbon Bacon Beautiful drink...no complaints there. I ordered the Harbor Salad - it was good, my only gripe was that the crab meat appeared to be imitation meat. The N'awlins Style Baked Oysters were a nice size and the taste was the bomb!! I also had the Jalapeno Corn Spoon cornbread..which was sweet with just the rite hint of spice. There are a couple of restaurants in Columbus area that are always CLUTCH and CONSISTENT AF and THE PEARL is definitely one of these spots. Whether downtown or in Dublin they never disappoint. Service at both locations is spot on. Food is executed to perfection, hot, crispy, and the epitome of comfort food should you choose those selections off of their menu. Drinks are amazing as well. My go to's when I go here are the burger, tots, and chicken dinner. You cannot go wrong should you choose these but I wanted to mix it up and try a few different things for brunch and they were all home runs. The confit wings had a crispy buttery outside and moist inside and marinated very well. I guess that's why they're called CONFIT if you're familiar with the technique. I can't go here without getting the tots as they have a crispy crunchy outside and potatoey pillowy mashed potato esque inside to die for. The dipping sauce they come with are addictive and I could drink a cup of it by itself. The tavern Benny had delicious sausage, biscuits, sausage gravy and perfectly poached eggs. The pork belly hash was great along with the pancakes and bacon. The bourbon bacon mash drink was unique and flavorful and the St Bernardus draft was smooth yet powerful. Great outdoor patio and ambiance overlooking bridge park in Dublin that provides an added advantage instead of going to the Short North on High St. Again, I've been here several times but this was my fist time at the Dublin location and no matter which on you choose it never misses! read more

First let me say the service was great. All the servers deserve a living wage of $20 an hour. They were lovely people and very nice and accommodating However, the cost of the food at fancy Cameron Mitchell restaurants like this is insane. All you rich Dublin suburbanites don't even realize how much you are getting f*cked in the *ss. Exhibit A: attached is a photo of a tiny cup of blue crab meat smaller than my hand. This cost $23 dollars. Colossal crab? More like miniscule crab There is also a photo of a normal ass salad anyone could have made by buying ingredients from Kroger. This cost $13. The cornbread was objectively delicious. But remember you could get a large portion of cornbread from an amazing soul food restaurant for much cheaper if you weren't afraid of black people and working class neighborhoods. Also their oysters were $14 for 3 oysters. I know we are in a landlocked state, but come on. They should at least be bigger oysters. Just had a wonderful meal at The Pearl. It was my first time there but was anxious to try it after all the good things I had heard about it. I was not disappointed. First of all, about the establishment. It's in the heart of the beautiful Short North area. It's dimly lit and nicely appointed with a pleasant ambiance. It's suitable for family gatherings or a large get together as well as a cozy date night. You can also sit at the bar which seemed inviting. The staff was very friendly. Our server was Chris. He was very nice and attentive. Rose, the manager, checked to make sure that we were all enjoying ourselves. Now for the food. Take the rave reviews about the homemade tots to heart. They are amazing. We had the chicken sandwich, Cuban sandwich and I had the braised short ribs. We all enjoyed our meals and I have to say the short ribs were wonderful and fork tender. My bestie took my sister and I here for brunch. It's located in downtown Dublin, which is one of the cutest places in the central Ohio area in my opinion. There are plenty of places to park in the vicinity for free including the Darby parking lot. If you park in the garage, you may need parking validation. We had reservations, so no wait time. The interior is clean and very charming. The staff are friendly and know their stuff. We got blood marys which came with small bottles of Millers (I recommend giving your drinks a little stir before enjoying). The omelette of the day was delicious (mine had chorizo and sauted veggies). Our waiter was very thoughtful and asked if I liked spicy things (yes of course!), before bringing me their hottest hot sauce unasked. My sister got the pork cheek hash with perfectly cooked eggs, and it was a flavor explosion. My bestie got the grilled cheese which she enjoyed immensely. We did get tater tots which was a huge portion and absolutely amazing (highly recommended) -- they were super crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside. Luckily we chose not to get apps beforehand because everything was deceptively filling. We didn't end up finishing the tots (a tragedy, I know). The location is perfect because it's right next to the bridge, so you can go for a picturesque stroll after your meal. And there are a couple of parks just across the street too, if you don't want to wander too far. They also have outdoor seating with a pretty view. Me and my family went here for dinner tonight and had a great meal. The wait was an hour so we put our name down and went to one of the bars near by that the manager recommended to us while we were putting down our name. They then texted us once our table was ready and sat us in the back room which had the best view of the river. It was stunning. We order the deviled eggs and the oysters. Both of which were decently good, we preferred the oysters to the deviled eggs. We then ordered the boil, the ribs, the pork piri piri, and the stake strip. All 4 meal where outstanding. Finally we ordered two slices of pie. Both of which where worth saving room for, especially the eggnog pie. Our server was incredibly nice, had great recommendations. We went to the Pearl for restaurant week, and my was it delicious! This was our first time at the Bridge Park location. We were there at happy hour time and got our white sangria for a great price! I ordered deviled eggs, fried chicken, and mud pie. My husband ordered clam chowder, low country boil, and brown sugar pie. Of course, we tried each other's food. It was all so good and we left stuffed! The fried chicken has some unique flavor in it that paired perfectly with the cinnamon roll. We think it was cinnamon in the batter! The corn dish I had was very flavorful. The brown sugar pie is a staple item here, but since we had never tried it, we had to get one. Both pies were so rich and sweet. read more

This remains one of our favorite spots and we picked a perfect night to go back with great weather and a fun scene in Dublin. We got the cornbread and it was delicious as always. We also got the dressed colossal blue crab and it was delightful. If you love beautifully simple seafood then that dish is for you. It comes in a little bowl with crackers and seems a little underwhelming at first but it was delicious. I had the hanger steak and it was excellent again even though my medium rare was a little rare even for me. They made a nice grilled cheese for our simple eater. Our teen had the butternut squash and ricotta dumplings which we both thought was very good. My wife had the beet salad and added salmon (again) and she loved it. We went to The Pearl with a large group on a rain-soaked weekend afternoon for brunch. Reservation is recommended, and we were seated promptly on arrival. Our server was very polite and patient with us (since we had different members of our party arrive at different times), and he took the time to explain the menu items and the specials of the day. The menu itself is very eclectic and offered something for everyone. One area of opportunity is that there is only one mocktail on the menu, which is quite a bit fewer than most other similar restaurants who offer 3-4 different mocktail options. The food was excellent. Since ours was a fairly good-sized group, I felt that we covered most of the main menu items. For starters, we ordered, the Tavern Fries, the Jalapeno Corn Bread, and the Tater Tots. The fries were just ok, the corn bread was very good and moist, but the tater tots were excellent. All the appetizers were decent portion sizes too, and each can easily be shared by 3-4 people. For our main entrées, we ordered the Hangar Steak, the Shrimp and Grits, and the Chicken and Waffles from the children's menu. All these dishes were flavorful and excellent. The Hangar Steak was well-seasoned, and integrated well with the kimchi rice and the fried eggs. The Shrimp and Grits were savory and hit the spot on a cold rainy day. The Chicken and Waffles was a very large portion (enough for an adult TBH), and was tasty at the same time. Our table came away impressed by the quality and quantity of the food, as well as the excellent service by the server and the rest of the restaurant staff. I highly recommend The Pearl - they are in part of Dublin where there are a lot of quality restaurants, but if given the opportunity, I would welcome the opportunity to go back there again. read more

It was my first time visiting this Dublin location. It is bigger than the short north location, and also has a very nice atmosphere! My friends and I came here for happy hour and dinner. Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 4pm to 6pm. They have a great deal for happy hour, including half off on drinks and half off on snacks and starters. We got a dozen of oysters, and a couple of appetizers. Teriyaki octopus was very tender. I wish it would have more sauce with it. Clam chowder was creamy and seasoned well. I had a reservation for 7 pm on Tuesday night during Restaurant Week. The check-in process was smooth. I was given the option of indoor or outdoor dining and decided to do indoor dining since it was around 90 degrees outside. I was seated up front by the windows which provided good people watching, but the temperature inside was possibly warmer than outside. I ordered the citrus salad, southern fried chicken, and banana cream pie. It took about an hour for the salad to come out after placing my order. The salad was to be expected. Over the course of next hour and a half the rest of the food came out. The fried chicken was nicely crisp on the outside but a bit dry on the inside. It could benefit from having a sauce with it (maybe a hot honey or something along those lines). The cinnamon sticky bun was kind of dry and didn't have much icing or cinnamon. The creamed corn was surprisingly good and possibly the best part of the meal. The crust on the banana cream pie was dry and unappetizing. The pie could be improved with more banana incorporated into it. Our server was nice, accommodating, and apologetic for the long wait. Overall, the experience didn't meet the usual Cameron Mitchell standards that I'm used to. I'd recommend trying to sit outside or in the back of the restaurant. The views and decor are much nicer than the front. read more

Excellent restaurant in Dublin OH. I came in on a business trip and stumbled I to this place. 1. Great atmosphere for both date night or just plain old sitting at the bar. It's a lot like I imagine an old high-end 1920s speakeasy/club would be. 2. Cocktails are on point and they have a nice wine list 3. The food is the star. A. Citrus Salad - light, airy, no over powering flavors. The occasional blend of the goat cheese with the greens is delicate and it sets up the pallet for a little sip of wine. B. The Sea Bass - cooked perfectly not too done that it turns to shoe laces but it had a great crisp to the top of it. The garbanzo beans with the yogurt and lentils make the dish quite hardy and filling. C. The Key Lime Pie - best I've had in a restaurant. I'm contemplating to go back tonight. read more

I came here for my sister's bday brunch. I guess the large party before us was taking a long time so we weren't seated until 45minutes after our reservation time. However, the manager did a great job of compensating us for the inconvenience. He took care of appetizers and desserts which was very nice. For the appetizers we got the Garlic Shrimp ($19) , The Chicken Wings Confit($18), the Jalapeño Corn Spoon Bread ($13) and the Fried Pickles($8). The Fried Pickles were the best I have ever had! The Chicken and Corn Spoon Bread were pretty good. I wasn't a huge fan of the Garlic Shrimp because it lacked flavor. I ended up ordering the drink The Cure($12). It was so good I got three of them lol! I ordered 1 Oyster ($5) because I heard they had great Oysters. I enjoyed the Oyster but I think I put too much of the horse radish topping on it. I also got the Chicken and Waffles($17) which was amazing! Gerardo was our server and he did an wonderful job serving such a large party. For dessert the manager brought out a platter that featured a Brown Sugar Pie, a Chocolate Pie, a Cherry Pie and a PB&J Jar. I absolutely loved the PB&J Jar!!! The pies were pretty good too. I would rank them: The Brown Sugar Pie, The Chocolate Pie, then The Cherry Pie(I'm not a huge fan of cherry pie in general though). I think everything on the menu is worth trying! The place was super clean including the bathroom. Three stars today just because some of us were happy in our group and some not. First our wait staff was excellent! Friendly and knowledgeable and patient. My husband always orders and loves the southern fried chicken. I ordered the grilled cheese and always ask for the soup with and don't understand why it's not an option on the menu. My son enjoyed the fish and chips and just thought the fries were a little old. The unhappy part was with the ricotta dumplings. These are not dumplings they are fried/cooked balls of cheese in too much sauce and they still did not taste like anything. Our waitress could sense our apprehension about this dish and asked us if we liked it, but we are not people to send things back so it would have been really helpful if she would have listed our choices of what to do next. Like can we just return it or how long for another meal. Our guest who ordered the meal also did not push the issue because she did not find anything else on the smallish menu attractive so she decided to push through and try to like the "dumplings " In fact none of us liked them. The Pearl has the perfect location in Dublin overlooking the bridge, it is genuinely an amazing spot, so good work!! Parking is extremely easy walking there, since there is a parking garage right next door. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful! It has many different vibes going on. Even for a bar area, it is a fancy spot!! I have always loved all the drinks I have received here and the food is the freshest seafood for being nowhere close to the coast, it is great!! It started with reservations we made at the Pearl, we arrived on time and still had to wait an hour for patio seating,only to discover when we were called they informed us they messed up and they gave our table to another party so we had to be seated inside. We Placed our drink order and appetizers, the order arrived incorrectly and then the we had to wait for someone to provide table settings!!!!! Fantastic date night experience!! We had a reservation last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were seated promptly. COVID protocols in place and followed. We started with a margarita and Elvis juice. I had the beet salad, hubs had the clam chowder. We split the burger and low country seafood boil. Portions were large! The beet salad was as good as I remember and the clam chowder was tasty. Our entrees were delicious. I felt my seafood boil was a tad on the salty side for my preference. I would love to give this place a 5 star, but a few things happened last night while we were having dinner that brings me to giving it four stars. I love the Pearl every time I come here for dinner. Service is great, the food is wonderful. My husband and I went last night for dinner for Valentines. I had the Fried Chicken which was wonderful, and my husband had his usual Shrimp and Grits. As I said, everything was great for us. The issue I had was a table across from us arrived at the restaurant before us and was seated. We had reservations at 5:00. i found out the restaurant had a computer system error and their orders and credit cards, and gift cards were not working properly after we finished eating. We finished our meal about 6:30 and the table across from us still did not have all their meal. They kept bringing it out little by little. My understanding is that the servers were not able to put in the order properly but, come on, just tell the kitchen staff to make it not doing everyone else's orders. Then I tried to use my gift card to pay for our meal and the manager came back and said their computer would not take it and I would have to pay another way. Now wait, what if I did not have the money? The manager was Daniel, and I will say he could have had more empathy. Luckily, I could pay for the meal, but I would like to have known before I ordered that their system wasn't taking gift cards. You would have thought, you would have heard we are so sorry, let me make it up to you. Next time you come a free dessert or something. Nope. Daniel seemed to be overwhelmed and I understand that. But he could use a little more customer service training. :) read more

I've never had a bad experience here and I keep coming back time and time again. We love to sit at the bar and enjoy the company of the awesome bartenders, but we also love to spend time alone sitting in a comfy booth. Their happy hour is one not to be missed - with great drink specials and deals on some of their most famous foods. I've gotten an order of the jalapeño spoon bread every time I visit for happy hour - it can't be beat! You truly can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu - no matter what your craving is, they'll have something to satisfy!
