This was our first stop to town on our family vacation. We hoped to sit on the rooftop, but it was very hot so we sat in the dining room. There were only two or three other tables that were occupied around on a Saturday afternoon. The ambiance was just so so, but the food was good overall. The cinnamon French toast was way too crunchy for my kids liking, the bang bang was actually pretty good, and the beef melt was very good. Overall, we hoped to see the rooftop and see more action on the inside but the food was good.

I LOVE THE PEACOCK! I have never felt more welcomed walking into a restaurant than when I walked into this place dude. Genuinely, some of the nicest people worked there (shoutout Tim #goat). Not to mention the food was incredible. I lowkey am picky so I ordered chicken tenders but they were DELISH The ranch and the honey mustard were super yum and I absolutely recommend getting the parm truffle fries. Every other item we ordered was absolutely five-star worthy. Another perk is that this place is decorated so beautifully, the ambiance is wonderful. If you are looking for a restaurant in Charleston, I definitely 100% recommend The Peacock.

Stopped in for our bach dinner, and the decor and vibes were exactly what we were looking for. The truffle fries are an absolute must. We literally demolished them in a few minutes and they made our whole night. I got the ahi tuna and salmon poke bowl for my entree, which lived up to my expectations. For dessert, we shared the s'mores molten lave cake, which I thought was okay. Service was also great and fast. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner experience.

We came in for an after dinner drink so decided to go upstairs to the second floor lounge. There was live music down stairs. Upstairs it was pretty chill and quiet so easy to chat and lots of comfortable seating. My sister wanted a mint tea and since they didn't have one the bartender added fresh mint leaves to her tea and she really enjoyed it. She loved the espresso martini and the flavor of the smoked pecan liquor. The cranberry fizz was very good. It was a light refreshing drink that had a great blend of flavors, some spice and some sweetness. Both bartenders were great and continued to check on us even when they had a large group come in.

I stopped by here for drinks and an early dinner after a walking tour downtown. Since it was early, there was no wait and plenty of tables to choose from on the roof top. If you are at a rooftop table, you can order food from the bar. We tried several drinks and entrees, all were great! I recommend the truffle fries as an app to share with drinks. There's a small water view from the roof, and a great breeze. It feels like a hidden gem! Looking forward to going back soon.

Pleasantly surprised and will return! Popped in on a whim today and had a great lunch on the roof. Downstairs is cozy and vibe-y, would sit down there for a full meal with friends or in the winter. The rooftop has a great view and easy bar ordering. Parking is easy at the Cumberland garage or other nearby garages. The bartender and hostess were friendly and answered questions. The chicken sandwich was perfectly done - crispy dry and love that it includes a side of fries. Great price point too!

The downstairs restaurant is gorgeous & comfortable Hollywood glam style. I appreciate the combination of the low lighting and lively bar. The tables are also appropriately spaced to maximize capacity and privacy. Our server, V (yes, like the letter) was simply amazing. We had so many questions about the *wonderful* menu and she was so patient and answered all of our questions. She recommended the Cafe Society (Espresso Martini) and seriously; It was one of the best I've ever had. A special drink, no doubt. We also ordered a few martinis not on the menu and they came out tasting just as wonderful. There was 5 of us, so thankfully we were able to try a bunch of dishes! We started with the Charcuterie & Cheese Board, Truffle Fries, and the Fried Green Tomatoes &THE CRAB DIP. You could skip on the Cheese Board as it was very simple, however the fries, fried green tomatoes & crab dip are must haves! We ordered two crab dips! For entrees, the market catch of the day/week was a scallop & risotto dish that the girls were drooling over while they gobbled it right up. We also had the smash burger, steak frites & clam/shrimp ciopinno. The beef dishes were good but the shrimp ciopinno and market catch were the shining stars! This was also the best service we had our entire time in Charleston. However, beware of the 3 flights of stairs to get to the roof top that is nice but not the same caliber as the first floor restaurant- reservations recommended.

A little disappointed with The Peacock. They're known for their cocktails, but we came for the full experience and while the food was actually quite good, the drinks fell flat, especially in presentation. What really made the night was our server, Martin. Martin brought such great energy and truly elevated the entire experience!

Our party enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. We arrived early and had cocktails on the second floor, which was a great way to start the evening. The ambiance is a total vibe, and the service was excellent. We visited during Restaurant Week, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I'd definitely recommend ordering the crab dip as a starter. An A+ dining experience overall!

The Peacock is a must-visit in Charleston--gorgeous multi-level space with a rooftop view that can't be beat. I tried the green beans (my new favorite appetizer) and the truffle fries, both perfectly seasoned and addictive. The vibe is upscale but fun, with friendly, attentive service. Whether you're here for cocktails, dinner, or just the view, it's an experience worth repeating.

Stopped by here for brunch before heading to the IAAM. I loved the gold and green aesthetic and the diverse playlist. The service was excellent. The food was okay. The portions were quite small for the price though. I would recommend for a drink and an appetizer, but not a full meal if you're really hungry. They do have an amazing photo spot by the restrooms!

Had the last dinner of my friend's bachelorette here and it did not disappoint! All the food and drinks we ordered were really good. 100% get the truffle fries!!! It is on the pricy side, but for a nicer dinner it's worth it. The decor is really fun with a few spots to take cute photos if you're in a group! Unfortunately, due to weather the rooftop bar was closed so we couldn't go there after our dinner; so a must try next time we're in town!

Not our favorite meal in Charleston, but not the worst either! My husband enjoyed his poke bowl but I was underwhelmed with my salad. We both agreed the truffle fries were the best part of the night! Definitely a smaller menu so be sure to check it out first to make sure there's something you like! Made a reservation ahead of time and it was nice to have - got seated outside right away!

To start Abigail, our waitress, was attentive, helpful, super sweet and just about the best waitress I have ever had. My wife and I ordered a round of cocktails, expecting the usual great description with subsequent lack luster drinks. Last night was different, midnight bloom which is their take on an old fashioned, but really in a different league; Smooth complex, and satisfying. My wife got the Ruby Ruby which is sort of a pomegranate martini with champagne. Refreshing and vibrant. For appetizers we had the blue crab fritters and the pork belly. The fritters were crispy, light, and full of crab flavor. Virtually no filler. I could have eaten a hundred. The pork belly was crispy, and rich without being too heavy. They also serve it in a white sauce that I was still thinking about the next day. For entrees we got the Roasted grouper and the pork shank. The grouper was maybe a bit overcooked and dry, but the accompanying butter beans stole the show. The were rich, and layered with flavor. I will never see the simple butter bean in the same way ever again. The pork was fall off the bone tender without being dry. The sauce it was served in was a masterpiece. There were hints of apple, berry, cinnamon, and many other notes, I would drink it by the glass if it was available. We split the gelato for dessert. Pure delight. Smooth, bursting with flavor, and leaving you wanting for more. All in all, except for a small misstep with the cook on the grouper a near perfect dinner. I would go there soon because a Michelin star can not be far off, and then getting a table will be a near impossibility.

If the dining room wasn't as loud, this would have been a 5 star review.

Sometimes the simplest thing on a menu ends up stealing the show. The atmosphere strikes that perfect Charleston balance of classy, cozy, and effortlessly cool. Nice list of 3 mocktails so even if not consuming alcohol one can look to play the part at the table and enjoy the flavor notes of a well made cocktail. The first meal we had was a bit of a work/get together meal. We ordered an assortment of items off of the menu and created a more tapas menu. The charcuterie board we picked the cheeses for and it was lovely. All as expected and quite surprised to find a cheddar I enjoyed. Came with some grapes, figs, nuts, honey and I think mustard. Glazed carrots were phenomenal. Heartily enjoyed the beet salad and thought the presentation was quite pretty. Lamb lettuce wraps are alright. Not my favorite of all the dishes served but delivered as promised, nicely cooked and presented. Spouse really liked the lamb wraps and were a stand out dish to them. Meatballs are excellent truly great texture and flavor. Escargot was a fun take on a classic dish. Finished with a unique strudel in its presentation it was quite pleasant. Spouse liked the peanut butter chocolate dessert. For brunch, I had the carrot ginger soup. Which I must say was a total delight. The soup had the hallmark texture and base flavor of the carrot ginger but it had a beautiful breath of savory and some heat seasoning wise to it. It was quite an elevated soup and heartily enjoyed! I followed the carrot soup with a French toast. I am all for softly scrambled eggs but the French toast was a touch undercooked. (I did not let the restaurant know or give them the chance to make right. I regularly eat soft boiled eggs and soft scrambled so I felt comfortable with consuming them.) Strawberries were ripe and tasty. The whipped cream was gorgeous in thickness and flavor. One in law had the caesar salad with croutons and grilled chicken. Their bowl was left clean so while they are not the talkative of sorts they did seem to enjoy it. Ordered a baguette with butter. Unfortunately the butter never made it to the table but the baguette was enjoyed. Spouse had the Azur burger with the side of tapas style potatoes. All was cooked properly to temperature and texture. Flavor and taste as promised. Wasn't their favorite dish at Azur as we had tried so many lovely dishes a few evenings before. But it did deliver on what was represented in the menu. Other in law had the quiche and a side salad. They liked the quiche and would order it again.
