    AFTER

We are very impressed with the quality of service by the entire Paver Company team. Marty was very clear with his communication and approach with the design. He showed us paver options and provided examples of other TPC jobs in the area. I felt his bid was very fair and he was clear with pricing options. David oversaw the overall project management of the driveway and was very accommodating with our schedule and our change request with the installation. The crew was amazing - we were impressed with Sergio leading his team, including Marco, Gerard, Samuel, and Carlos. They completed the project earlier than expected and quality of the installation was top notch. Our new driveway looks better than we expected and the pavers really improve our curbside appeal. The Paver Company came recommended by a friend, and I would highly recommended the Paver Company to others!

The Paver Company did a stellar job of designing and installing a beautiful patio for my small backyard. The team was highly professional from start to finish, completing the job within 2 days, even though my expectation was that it could take up to 5 days. A big thank you to the workers - Eddie, Lucio, Mariano, and Jose for your attention to detail and to Dave and Richard for being so easy to work with.

    Driveway

We are very pleased with our new driveways that TPC installed. Marty explained to us the different types of pavers rated for driveways and provided us with addresses of past customers so we could see their workmanship and different styles of pavers. This was very helpful. Highly recommend seeing your selected paver on a larger scale first as the small area in the showrooms isn't enough. After Marty measured the area for the pavers, he provided us with a fair price. The work was scheduled for a week later and the project was done in less than a week. Very professional, quick, and organized. I recommend Marty and TPC for paver jobs.

New artificial turf and new pad (back right)

We were very pleased with the work that The Paver Company did for us! We were working on an outdoor kitchen project and were referred to The Paver Company to help us put a pad of pavers. We worked with Marty initially and he was super helpful in finding the right pavers that would work best for the outdoor kitchen and how to blend them with existing pavers in our yard. We also were interested in exploring options for artificial turf and Marty was very helpful in giving us the information we needed to find the right turf for us. Once the project started, Eric was our project manager and was very helpful! He communicated all the steps clearly and was responsive. We worked with Eddie and his crew and they did great work. They worked quickly but made sure that the work was high quality. We would recommend them and will be returning for future projects!

We just wrapped up a huge overhaul of our backyard with Jeff and Courtney from TriValley…read moreLandscaping and we truly could not be happier. We originally called Jeff to talk about fixing our drainage issues - our yard would flood every time it rained, and pool near the patio and foundation. Jeff was so thorough and explained where all our pain points were and how we could most effectively fix them. We decided to install French drains and pumps on both sides of the house to get water moving the right direction. Once we started digging, Jeff and his team realized we could make the drainage work without pumps by grading the yard differently - saving us tons of money! Naturally, we got excited and decided to increase the scope of work to include more landscaping, a few footpaths, small seating area, a bunch of sod for a new lawn, irrigation and a ton of new plants and trees. Jeff and Courtney checked in with us about budget throughout the whole project, making sure to send us new estimates when I got excited about adding something else to the revamp. The team onsite were great - personable, on time, respectful, and they also seemed to really enjoy working with each other, which we felt was a good sign. I absolutely adore my new outdoor space and we anticipate enjoying it with our family for many years to come. If we ever need more work done, I'm calling TriValley!

Jeff does a terrific job laying out the details and presents a professional design with pictures of what it will look like before work proceeds. I cannot recommend TriValley Landscape enough. After deciding to remove our pool, we hired Aaron as the installer for our new landscape project, and we are so glad we did. For months, work was moving forward almost every day, from demolition prep and grading to hardscape, planting, irrigation, lighting, fencing, pergola installation, pebble work, and the finishing touches. The quality of the work was excellent throughout. The paver patio, carport, and front entry all turned out beautifully, and the plants, irrigation, and lighting were installed with great care. We were especially impressed by the rock and pebble work, particularly the dry creek and front mow strip. The mix of stone sizes gave everything a natural, detailed, and polished look that really elevated the final result. Aaron also has a strong eye for detail. He regularly caught things that needed adjustment, even when we had not noticed them ourselves, and he stayed focused on getting everything right. While there were some issues that delayed finishing the project, Aaron took responsibility and worked with us to make them right, which we truly appreciated. In the end, what matters most is that we are thrilled with the outcome. Our yard feels beautiful, welcoming, and complete, and we look forward to years of enjoying it.

So, we made it our first priority to get the backyard done so we could really enjoy it. We had everything completely demoed in order to start from scratch. We wanted a more rustic, traditional looking garden with brick pathways and lots of plants. Having never done a project like this before, we hired a landscape designer: Cyn Coulouthros. She put together a design for us and recommended Aaron's team at Landscape Experts due to their experience with softscaping and hardscaping, especially their brick work. And they would be able to deliver the traditional look we were going for. I cannot say enough good things about Aaron and his team. They go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want! Aaron is so easy to work with and always responsive. The lead on our project was Raul who is amazing at what he does! He takes pride in his work and is incredibly talented. If you need any landscaping, I highly recommend Landscape Experts. Some things Aaron's team did for us: Laid a brick pathway, laid a flagstone patio, installed pathway lights, installed much needed drainage, installed a drip system and Rachio controller (to program the sprinklers from your phone), resurfaced an existing raised seating area for us as it was completely deformed (likely from earthquakes), placed mulch, planted all of the trees and plants, etc. An additional note, Aaron doesn't forget about you once the job is done. We had a light go out and he sent someone over immediately to fix it, as an example. If you're having any issues, he wants to help, even if it's unrelated to anything they've worked on. We will 100% be using them when we're ready to do our front yard and for anything else landscape related! Thank you so much Aaron and Landscape Experts for giving us our dream backyard! You guys are amazing!

I can't remember the names of the 2 men that performed this repair ( it was several months ago), but they were great. I highly recommend.

Foundation Repair of CA (FRC) is the most disreputable, dishonest company I've ever encountered. I…read morehired them because I didn't want to hire the lowest bidder for a change, and I regret it. I wouldn't sign the contract when told I'd have to do my own masonry repair until sales agent Jesse Marquez showed me FRC corporate material that indicated the brick facade would be removed with a masonry saw, in an approximate 2x2' square. That was false and deceptive advertising. This is what they did to my house. No masonry saw was used, only impact drills, which act as small jackhammers. FRC significantly damaged the entire brick facade, adjacent areas showed extensive cracking, entire areas had the brick facade knocked completely off the house, and the wall foundation was separated from the brick wall entirely. I told the work crew, headed by Luis, to stop using impact wrenches on the bricks immediately, then told them TWICE. Not only did they not stop, despite direct STOP work orders, they then took all of the bricks they'd destroyed, which legally is theft, called conveyance. Jesse Marquez explained that the bricks were so old they'd shattered. Luis returned the bricks after Jesse Marquez called, ignoring my several phone calls and texts. Jesse texted that the bricks were so old they'd shattered. Luis returned them, none were shattered, all were broken by the impact drills. Luis confirmed, texting that the bricks were "broken". They took the bricks to hide the damage. The day FRC received my Contractor's State Licensing Board complaint, FRC messaged that someone would come to assess the damage for repairs, and FRC would repair the masonry they'd destroyed. They first sent Robert Pagan, who acknowledged both that there were no masonry saw marks, and that the damage was excessive. According to FRC, Jesse stated Robert hadn't said this. It wasn't until I pointed out he'd said it while standing in front of a Ring camera did that lie die. FRC then sent Troy Knight, who acknowledged the same, and stated he was there to help, and would see that the masonry was repaired and more. I have several texts, voicemails and emails from FRC stating they will complete the job. They never did. FRC employee Mike Crites was sent to perform the repairs. He returned the following week with the wrong sized bricks in the wrong color, and proceeded to do more damage. This is the work that they did. FRC employee Mike Crites initially stated that he had retired as a mason, he later revised that statement, saying he'd only worked with pavers and concrete. The work performed was so substandard, FRC sent Jovincio, who was the only honest person in my entire dealings with FRC. Jovencio said he wasn't a mason, but had "some training". Jovencio replaced the work done by Mike Crites. This is Mike's effort, and Jovincio's replacement work. The work performed is clearly substandard and unacceptable. FRC acknowledged the workers sent lacked the skills, training and necessary certifications to perform masonry repairs. When I requested that FRC send a mason, and included photos of the work, FRC responded that they'd done me a favor; the workers sent were a courtesy. The very clause they'd ignored (and invalidated) by removing the bricks was cited. That they would do no more, leaving me with the bill for their damage. This is what they left. I obtained a second quote to repair the deficient masonry 'work' FRC workers had done - without a REQUIRED permit, with no mortar pins, odd-sized and broken bricks mortared in randomly, mortar lines that range from non-existent to more than an inch. Crites' also removed the brick facade foundation in several sections, replacing it with sloppy concrete. This is a code-violating 'repair' that is neither plumb nor square. The legitimate mason company from whom I obtained a repair quote updated the quote, which has nearly doubled BECAUSE of the 'repairs' performed by the unqualified FRC employees. FRC called this doing me a favor, saying the inept crew was sent as a 'courtesy'. This is not doing me a favor, this is not a courtesy, this is at best fraud. After signing the contract (under false pretenses), Jesse insisted I needed an additional pier ($3,155) because piers can no longer be placed under a window. A pier was placed under the window. Two other piers were not placed according to the county approved structural engineering ($1,850) diagram. Half the piers were installed in the wrong places, apparently according to Luis' whims. Yesterday Groundworks gave an estimate on properly placing those piers. That's how I learned that the improperly placed piers had lifted a joist completely off its foundation supports. This, too, will require additional expense to correct, before it damages my house - literally to the roof. I should have stuck with Groundworks. This is your cautionary tale - no one who values integrity, ESPECIALLY senior women, shouldn't hire FRC.
