My journey with Mr. Pavers started in the winter of 2024. I would say this company is very straight-shooting -- they're not designers, they're excellect craftsman who can manifest your vision. Such was the case for our home. I happen to be skilled in 3D drafting and modeling in Sketchup, so I was able to clearly convey my goals without much confusion. This team is fast, they know what they're doing, and they're easy to reach and stay in touch with while your project is underway. We had one small design flaw with alignment and aestehtics by a side gate (because of how my fence was aligned), but they came back to fix it to ensure I was happy. I would also like to give a special shout-out to Sandy, my account rep -- who made everything from beginning to end as smooth as butter. Mr. Pavers is very lucky to have her on their team! They are top quality for a competitive price. I would hire this company in a heartbeat to come back and do more work at my home!

We recently decided to replace our 40+ year old redwood deck and pergola with a paver patio. I got three bids that all had similar costs for the paver installation. I choose Mr. Pavers based on good reviews, and I had the most confidence in them after meeting with the various estimators. John, the estimator for Mr. Pavers, was very knowledgeable and clearly explained how the overall project would proceed. He was also very helpful in providing pictures and addresses for us to drive by so we could decide on the color and texture of the pavers. This really helped since there are so many options. While the estimates for the paver work were similar, the estimates for demolition of the deck and pergola varied widely. I ended up using a separate company, Left Coast Hauling, to do that work. I'm also giving them a five-star review. Mr. Pavers started their work two days after demo and took a total of only four days to complete the project. The co-owner, Nelson, came out the first morning before starting the project to review the scope and instruct the excavation crew. Nelson was very easy to work with. I appreciated his system of using a group text to make sure that if anything came up or I had questions they could quickly be addressed. This proved quite valuable. The Mr. Pavers work crews were efficient and very hard working. The excavation and base-rock fill crew completed their work in one day and did a good job of cleaning up afterward including power washing the sidewalk. The paver crew led by Diego was also hard working and I was very impressed with their attention to detail. As with any project, it is important to monitor work so if anything comes up you can address it before it is too late. We had a bit of a miscommunication on how wide the step from the house to the patio was supposed to be, but we quickly reconciled it via the group text. The finished product looks great (see photo)! Overall, we are very happy with our new paver patio and recommend Mr. Pavers without hesitation.

Crews were professional, quick and efficient. Very happy with our new driveway. Highly recommend.

    Paver wall, artificial grass.

Mr Pavers did a fantastic job on my front landscape. They installed artificial grass, pavers and a paver wall. The communication was excellent on a daily basis. If we had any issues, they were addressed immediately. I would use them again.

The Mr. Pavers team did a great job on my driveway. Michael the salesman was clear on his proposal with several really good suggestions based on his experience. One of the two brothers (owners) supervised the job and the crew did a great job - worked quickly and cleaned up at end of each of the four days from start to finish.

After! Nice smooth flat patio pavers. I will paint where the deck was.

Small patio area + deck removal + mow strip in back yard + downspout extension underneath pavers. ALL DONE IN 2 DAYS! Holy smokes they were fast. All told around $20k Very much worth it for speed, demo of deck and hauling materials, and the quality of the pavers + installation! Would recommend! And the sprinklers weren't totally destroyed! Great stuff!!!

The crew at Mr Pavers was amazing. I had them compete for my business against three other formidable hardscape companies. Kevin, sales guy, was the best. Came out gave me advice and a competitive quote right away. The team did stellar hardscape work on my front driveway, side, and front garden. It's a piece of art so well done. We love it so much. Quality, craftsmanship, and professionals end to end. Would recommend them to anyone.

I chose Mr Pavers to install paving stones from my patio down the side of my house and out to my driveway. This involved paving around raised planters and a curved path to the driveway. They did an excellent job, I couldn't recommend them more highly. The entire job was completed in only 2 days of work. They stayed late on the second day to finish up.

Not much at a distance but the settling is obvious. Need a fix in a close up. Concern with the settling paver lifting the skimmer basket top

Had a small project that other service providers doing pavers wouldn't take. Mr. Paver was glad to have the business. Several Travertine Pavers around the pool's skimmer basket had sunken and were allowing rain water to pool worsening the sinking of surrounding pavers. Phoned on Wednesday to set up an estimate on Thursday, work was scheduled for Friday 8am-10am. The estimator, Matt, who came Thursday afternoon, assured me there wasn't anything structural or serious going on. He said pavers around the skimmer basket tend to sink after pool construction (2017) in 3-4 years. He said I was lucky to have gotten almost 7 years with barely noticeable paver sinking. Matt noticed some other sunken pavers around the enclosing fence's gate and said his crew would take care of those as part of the job. The job was small enough to remain in Mr. Paver's very affordable minimum price quote. The crew of 2 arrived right at 8am on Friday (today) and got to work on removing the sunken pavers, preparing the ground under them, tamping the sand and clay material down to level it and placing the same pavers that were removed back in place. No breakage at all. Took about 2 hours for the entire job which included fixing some other sunken pavers around the pool enclosing fence's gate. Work site clean-up concluded the job ..... and no sand or other material got into the pool!!! Great local company with a focus on ethics, affordable pricing and quality work.

    Beautiful front door transformation!

Mr. Pavers did an outstanding job that we will cherish for life. Owner Glayston is patient and skilled at problem-solving, which is incredibly helpful for a detail-oriented large project with a demanding client. Their crew showed up every day, worked tirelessly in hundred-degree temperatures, and completed the project within the scheduled three weeks. Michael is our friendly and accommodating salesperson. I highly recommend Mr. Pavers for your big and small paving jobs!

    Before

We had pavers installed in the driveway and pool deck. Our old concrete was all cracked and uneven. The pavers left us with so much more living space. The job was done fast and precisely. They did everything that I requested and more. John and Alvis were very responsive to my needs and changes. The workers cleaned after the work they had done. The pavers look beautiful and a lot less maintenance. As a senior, it made my life easier. No more weeds. I would recommend MR. PAVERS to everyone. Thank you, Mr. Pavers!

John, Nelson, and the entire crew did an exceptional job on our backyard project. The team was highly professional and in my opinion real craftsmen. They finished on schedule, doing everything they promised and made some good suggestions during completion which we incorporated into the project. All in all a great experience.

My Beautiful Yard... We Love it...
    ANITA D.

I contracted with Mr. Pavers in the summer of 2021 among other companies, we chose them. They did a FABULOUS job and we were very happy with what our yard looks like now compared to the ugliness of the prior yard. We definitely use it more. I found the Management and the workers were Excellent! Worked very hard and turned it into a wonderfull place to enjoy. What prompted me to write this review is that with all the rain we have these past few months some of the pavers started to lift and I called them, they came out and took out the bad pavers, hammered the others down and filled everything with sand. Great Job and no add'l cost to me. They guarantee their work 100%. I/We highly recommend them. They were reasonable and professional. Thank You Mr. Pavers.

Front yard the day of completion. We still need to do some work on the grass and plants, but the pavers look great!

Professional. Friendly. Honest. Knowledgeable. QUALITY. Need I say more?…read more We had a chimney fire -- a very scary thing!! -- right after a so-called reputable chimney sweep took our $100 and 'cleaned' the chimney. What that guy really did was just take our money and leave the creosote buildup. In the aftermath of that fire, we discovered that our fireplace, which appeared to be made of brick, was actually made of pre-cast concrete. And even worse -- the heat from that chimney fire was so intense that it broke the insulation plate. The insurance inspector took one look and condemned our chimney. The city code enforcement officer came out and took a look; he agreed with the insurance inspector. We were ordered to tear it down. Enter Dave Montgomery who not only gave us the best quote, but was everything you want in a contractor. He showed up, on time. He did a superb job of demolition and then rebuilt our fireplace and chimney with the Real Thing.... brick, not concrete. And every day, before he left, he cleaned up after himself. The end result is beautiful. He included an air inlet that we can open and close that allows air from outside into the firebox (now I don't have to have an open window letting cold air into my house just to enjoy a cheery fire.) The materials used were first-rate. The job he did was first-rate. It's been a while, and it still looks gorgeous and functions perfectly. Bottom line: if you need masonry work done, he's the guy to call. I highly recommend Dave Montgomery Masonry.

Batteries were changed in the remote and in the receiver but that didn't solve the issue. I have to add at this point, that this unit is in a rental property and we are landlords who were unable to be on site at the time our tenants brought this to our attention. Laurie, a super communicator and troubleshooter, comes to the rescue. She has a few things to ask the tenants to look for, identify and test. She narrowed down the problem all via email and text. Once the inop part was identified, it was ordered. As soon as it arrived, Laurie called our tenant directly to make an appt for installation. Between Laurie and our (fantastic) tenants, they pretty much took care of things between just the two of them . . . all we needed to do was provide payment. This is so, so appreciated and valued as landlords who were unable to be present at the property at the time. Btw, I also have to add that our tenants had nothing but great things to say about Laurie's communication and the installation visit as well - - - on time, efficient, neat, polite and very courteous. From initial inquiry to repair, all was done within a couple of weeks. The epitome of efficiency. Other companies were booking over a month out and their $ and time estimates were almost double b/c they required one visit to troubleshoot then another to install/repair once they had the part. Thank you Laurie and Warm Solutions for providing such quality services!

Although they had spare bricks with them, I had some on hand that were a better match. When they were done about an hour later, the results were so seamless, the only way I could tell where the new bricks were was by the new mortar lines. During that same call, I requested that a supervisor contact me regarding additional questions. No one from management ever returned that call. On the day of the appointment, the technician never arrived. At 10:00 AM, I contacted Jeffrey, who informed me the technician was running late and would arrive in the afternoon. No one showed up that afternoon either. When I spoke with Jeffrey again, I provided my address a second time. He then sent a confirmation notification containing the wrong address and even the wrong city. I called back once more to correct the information so the technician could locate my home. Despite all of this, no technician arrived at any point that day. At 4:00 PM, a customer service representative called to inform me that the technician "had something to do with his wife." This explanation was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I demanded an immediate call from a manager. No one contacted me. To this day, I have still not received a single follow‑up call from any member of management. Adding insult to injury, I began receiving text messages a few days later offering to reschedule the fireplace cleaning. I made it clear that, given the severe inconvenience and complete lack of service, the cleaning should be provided at no charge. I received no response. This entire experience is a clear example of extremely poor customer service, a lack of basic professionalism, and an absence of any meaningful management oversight. Despite multiple requests, not one manager has contacted me. Based on the conduct I have witnessed, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Alex went up to the roof but did not clean away the debris up against the chimney, he took pictures but did not clean up the debris. I paid $100 for sealing the cracks in the chimney box and he did a good job with that. The inspection on the outside is where things get quite questionable, Alex advised they would fax me back and estimate of any additonal work. The estimate is for $1007. The report lists the condition of my Chimney report as "unsatisfactory" It also says the note is d/t the exit set up of the chimney, but that is not explained. further down in the estimate. Then below are 3 items for remediation. Repair to cap arrestor is noted as "rusted" needs prime and paint, then next box says " preventative" and " fire hazard", $259., the next is Chase cover " rusted or discolored, needs prime/paint, says "preventative" $399., for the base of chimney says " flashing - water issues - install diverter next box says preventative - gives the code that lists water diverter or cricket. The pictures do not show any rust on the cap arrestor nor the chase cover only soot, and the discoloration is dirty water on top d/t it had just rained. The base of the chimney picture is covered with debris that alex did not remove before he took the picture which means he did not actually look to see if flashing was below the tile, nor did he see that there was flashing there w/ a water diverter that had been installed by my roofer in July last year. It can be seen in the picture zooming to the R. The quote says w/ the code either water diverter OR cricket, but when you talk to them they say well its better with both. When asked about the estimate they sell you that its all legitimate work but then say, estimate does say preventative however, estimate also says condition of chimney is "unsatisfactory". If this is work that is not necessary at this time estimate should say currently satisfactory, just because it could be better does not mean its necessary. I would even beg to differ that since they did not remove the debris at the base of the chimney, not only is the inspection of that area invalid, it is also incomplete work because he failed to " clean the chimney area". I have talked to them at length about the report and they justify the "type of work is code work" but not really necessary to my house today. They dont come right out and say, this all might be things you should do in the near future to be proactive. The cost of just priming and painting, per my brother in law who is a contracter said thats an hour job and they want to charge you $700 then wondered why for the cost they would not just replace the cap arrestor for that price? Since I did have roof work done by a licensed contractor in July I will be reaching out to him for his comments and follow them up here. Still 1 star not happy with overall feeling misled and work on roof w/ debris left incomplete work.
