I would not recommend this company. They were hired to clean, sand and seal hardscape. Subsequint to finishing the job, poly sand is not staying in joints and seal did not keep water and leaf stains off of hard scape in some areas. Requested guidance from company to address issues but have not received any response. I would recommend staying Sacramento local for your hardscape maintenance needs! read more

At the end of the day, the ties are beautiful once again. We had a bump in the road with the workers that came out, they did come back and did everything they were supposed to, and MUCH thanks to Cathy Strahan who made it all happen. Her follow up and enthusiasm was extremely refreshing in this day and age where workmanship is not what it used to be. Thank you Cathy! read more

Concrete Paver Restorations - Before/After - Masonry/Concrete Near Me - Walnut Creek, California

Hired CPR to clean and reseal our 9 year old pavers back in October. Started out well with Manny & his son working hard to clean them. All went downhill from there. Drew and Joe came mid afternoon to fill the sand that had come out during the hot water surface cleaning. Our contract stated the use of polymeric sand, but they suggesting using mesh 30 instead. Joe took a bag of sand and started throwing it all over. Drew went out to their truck to make some calls. Joe brushed the sand around and was rushing to get it done before dark. He ended up sealing it with clumps of sand on top of pavers in several areas and a fine layer of sand in many areas. We were not able to see the completed project because it was now dark. They sold us on doing a responsible job and we made the mistake of paying them the same day.Twice, Drew sent out workers (again late in day as almost dark) to look at our mess and do a "touch up". They then found a simple "touch up" would not solve the problems. We waited for all the winter rains to pass and now CPR refuses to correct their inappropriate actions.....even though their warranty states "We stand behind our craftsmanship". read more

The guys had a busy schedule, and yet arrived and furnished the power washing the first day. I was a little anxious over the oil drips. The washing went well and they avoided any damage to the adjacent plants. They completed the polymeric sanding, wetting and the sealing the second day. Overall the price was fair and the job appearance was excellent. Thanks guys. read more

2nd time I have hired CPR. The first time the polymer locked out all of the gophers that have been digging up my patio, and it lasted for years. The pavers needs to be shined up and recently that work was done but, for whatever reason, a gopher (a mole?) popped up within a week of the work being finished. These guys are tenacious and I was just going back and forth with CPR, not expecting a thing, and they volunteered to come out again and touch up the 2 affected areas. Above and beyond my expectations. As regards the shined up pavers, they are 25 years old and still look terrific. read more

Pretty much all of our paver areas needed some repairs (except 1st patio I had done many years ago)the side area where a bunch of fig trees and a pear tree had come up had uplifted a lot of the pavers. (Had all removed)Tried locating company a couple years back to fix it but at that time could not find a repair company and the original installers had gone out of business. But this one man came out and said he would have to pull them all out and redo it all for 7000... Canceled the contract the next day. My son ended up pulling some up and cutting roots so wasn't so much a tripping hazard. End of summer last year Saw an advertisement in a magazine we get every month with new install and repair companies for your house... I like their name and I said I will remember that name...CPR. And was in the magazine again this year, too... Everyone was great to deal with. Moses came out to give us an estimate... Very nice and friendly and then we had Joseph and Alan that did the actual job. I cannot believe how fast they got it done... Only took one afternoon for cleaning and re-sanding and sealing. And everything looks great for less than half the price Of what I was just gonna have that one patio redone... Also had some areas that the sand sunk So contacted the owner Drew to see if they could fix that. Wow he had somebody out there within a couple hours to talk about it and then we just had it touched up today. Just remember to plan ahead with your pets and watering schedule (we deep watered before they came) because you can't walk on for 24 hours and no water for at least 48 hours. Now my sidewalk on side yard needs replacing so definitely will contact them again for that when I am ready. And ask for same crew. read more

RUN AWAY. I would give them "no stars" if it was possible...saw them in Home Mag as an advertiser. A young man showed up and did the project walk with me and my husband, took a video of areas to be included in the job-paver cleaning (no sealing), polymeric sand restoration, and power wash of a few concrete areas. The young man stated that we should have a quote within a few days. After 10 days and no contact from anyone, reached out to the young man who did the job walk to make sure CPR had correct contact info. They did. After 3 attempts, finally received quote. It looked good. We signed contract and paid deposit. I immediately received an email requesting a review of CPRs service. ?? No work had been done. I ignored it. Then I received an email with the word "SCHEDULING". Sent an email asking for CPR to throw out dates for scheduling so we could work out mutually convenient date. The next day I happened to be in my email and an email entitled "REMINDER" popped up, that CPR would be arriving to do the work the next day. I immediately replied it would not work, and then I got specific- two weeks out at least. No response. The next day I received a phone call as I was getting ready to leave the house. They were at our house. I apologized to another very nice young man, and explained that I had reached out about scheduling (that today would not work) and no one ever responded. He left. I called and left a message to reschedule (2 weeks out at least). No phone response. Tried 8 days later with another email to get scheduled. 5 days later at 7 pm received a text that they would be arriving THE NEXT DAY, and it was the WRONG SCOPE OF WORK. No. Obviously no one read my emails about scheduling, or bothered to check the scope of work before reaching out. I threw up my hands and asked for our deposit back. No response. Sent another text to return our deposit. No response. I'm now disputing the credit card charge. After further checking into this company, we clearly dodged a bullet. Our patio may not be very clean, but at least it wasn't ruined-check out the story on the BBB website, and what this company did to another homeowner's paver patio. BEWARE. read more

CP Restorations has advertising all over. Their estimators have all the right answers. The photos of past projects looked great. Their references checked out. And their prices are high so they should be able to provide a quality product. I hired them and their finished work looked like their photos so I paid them. Less than two months later. One part of the concrete work started to lift. Then more until it was a serious walkway hazard. Was it poor workmanship or poor materials or both? For over a month, Drew, Raphael, Kris, and Chris promised to do something but lots of talk no action. Then, they ghosted me. I guess I should have held the final payment longer. read more

This company does excellent work at a fair price and they back it up. They did a thorough power cleaning of my 20 year old pavers (and they looked great) and applied polymeric sand and a sealer. A first rate job. Twelve hours later there was a huge rain. The polymeric sand requires a precise moisture to bond, but everything looked ok. About three months later, I noticed some of the sand in the joints was crumbly. Because of the rain, the polymeric sand did not properly bond, which happens CPR came back and essentially re-did the entire job. So they stand behind their work and I am a very happy customer. A shout out to Manuel and Cesar who did the excellent work and to Kathy Strahan who coordinates the projects. She took good care of me read more

we requested to have our stamped concrete cleaned and sealed. They also removed and replaced the coping between the concrete and the stones surrounding the pool. The job turned out so good I can't stop looking at it. it was just the right thing to bring the whole back yard back to party ready!! D. Nichols Brentwood read more

CPR did a good job. Not sure how to take down my review. I would recommend CPR. .............

Drew and his team at Concrete Paver Restorations repaired and stained the pavers in our driveway and motor court. We had the ugliest pink and red tricolor pavers that they transformed into a clean sleek new look. They did stain tests to perfect the tone and even with lots of traffic and weather on our driveway and in our motor court a year later everything still looks brand new. read more

Drew, Joe, and Manuel were great! Very friendly and educated me throughout the process. I had pavers installed a few years ago and they started to lose their color from the sun and weather. They also had a few nicks in them. They had swirl marks from a previous pressure washing job. I was told by another company that the swirl marks were a lost cause and that I would need to replace them to get them out which was devastating since they were an eye sore. Luckily, I found Drew and his team. They were able to clean, remove the swirls, and apply the seal coat. Pavers looked like the brochure! Communication was great and had a great platform for reviewing proposals and approving estimates. Would definitely work with these guys again to maintain the driveway! read more

I highly recommend this company and will have them back as needed. My flagstone looks amazing! A special thanks to Chris & Manuel who made a hard job look easy. read more

This company has difficulty in keeping to schedules. Either late to the job or didn't show with no notice. The paver repair was a problem - the crew wanted to simply pull up a few pavers and smooth the bedding sand. I had to insist on digging up the sand to expose and remove the tree roots. The steam cleaning was adequate but the resanding was marginal with some seams and cracks in sufficiently filled. I'm finishing the sanding and spraying the sealer myself. Use this company only if you are present to review their services read more

Phenomenal experience. This is the second time I've had the pleasure of working with concrete paver restorations. Quite frankly, they were CPR for my hardscape! Drew's team essentially took 12 year old, discolored, dirty, moss laden pavers and in 24 hours had them deep cleaned and resealed. They look like new. I couldn't be happier. More importantly the team was thoughtful about my recently stained IPE deck and protected it during the cleaning process. I will undoubtedly work with them again in the future. Their prices are fair and their work is impeccable. Give them a try! read more

Drew and his able crew restored my old pavers to look like new. Power washing, sanding and sealing along with repairing some displaced pavers made for a quality restoration. I had been looking for a company to restore my pavers for at least three months and no one would get back to me with a quote. Once I contacted concrete paver restoration, drew was extremely responsive and got me a quote promptly. I am having my sons engagement party in a couple weeks and want my back yard to look Pristine. Manny came out on Wednesday to prep and then came back Thursday and finished the sanding and sealing of the pavers. They are about 15 years old and now look brand new! Thank you drew and manny for a quick professional and beautiful job. Oh, they also helped me move everything off the pavers!!!!thank you so much read more

Their new super van has ability to clean faster and better. Prep'd the area well, fill some paver sand fill gaps too. Team applied the sealer coats which really brought the sun faded pavers back to life. Even the top caps of the planter boxes, making less probably of bird poop stains and easy to just make a quick rinse. Great comradely, coordination to get it done. They also can do concrete staining, so change that boring gray to some complimentary colors to your pavers or just a pathway. Plus reduce the probability of spillage stains during those fun patio outings! read more

I would highly recommend Concrete Paver Restorations! They recently repaired my driveway where a large tree root had lifted a large section of pavers. They took out the lifted pavers, removed the root, re-leveled, and then reset the pavers back in place. They also pressure washed, re-sanded and sealed my entire driveway and walkway. Manuel and his crew did a great job. They were on time every day, cleaned up before they left, were friendly and professional, and completed the job within the expected time. Fantastic Job! Drew and Joe were great and very polite. Our driveway never looked better! We will use them again for sure.

We had been looking for some time to update our backyard with a new patio area which required removing a firepit, leveling the ground and updating 580 sq feet with flagstone and decomposed granite. We got to work with Ben and Manuel and they were both incredibly kind, fast and easy to work with. Ben managed the project and he was super communicative and transparent throughout the process, texting with updates and setting expectations for arrival, delay, etc. The proposals are easy to review and sign digitally as well. Originally they bid to do the project over the course of a week, but managed to get it done in 3 days. Everything turned out even better than we imagined and we fully intend on using them again if we have other projects! Thank you Ben and Manny! read more

My husband and I are getting too old to get on our hands and knees to weed and maintain our 16 year old paver installation, but we were getting embarrassed by the weeds and moss that made our formerly beautiful yard look awful. We called Drew on the recommendation of the landscaper doing our yard rehab. I'm so glad we did. I dont often give 100% good reviews, but Drew and his crew deserve one! They worked so fast, and it came out beautifully. It looks better than new. The sealer they applied after blowing out the weeds and old sand makes the pavers like new. They are fast, efficient and the results are fantastic. You could not ask for a better company to do the job. I've added a couple of 'Before and After' photos. read more

A great job on our driveway. Willing to come back and give it one more coat to make me happy......and I am.

I was very happy with this crew of: Manny & Noel. They are very hard-working guys that knows what they're doing! Very polite and professional too. They did a better-than-expected job on my pavers after a repair, as we had Paver Pro company lay down our front yard pavers several years ago, but they went out of business. We called around but no one would repair this sinking area problem until we found Concrete Paver Restorations. They not just repaired the sinking area but did a great job on the cleaning & re-sealing application. It looks like the day they were initially installed! Like New! We are happy with the price too. They had a $250 discount coupon in the Home Concepts Magazine which helped. All in All, a reasonable price with a job well done! read more

Drew and his crew did a magnificent job on my driveway pavers. The original contractor who installed the pavers NEVER sealed them so there were many weeds and lots of grass that grew in the cracks. My driveway looked abandoned. These guys fixed a couple of sunken pavers and in two days completely transformed the driveway appearance. It now looks significantly better then even the day after the initial installation. I got a brand new driveway for less than $2,000! I highly recommend Concrete Paver Restorations. read more

We've lived in our house for 12 years and never had the 40 flagstone pavers in our front and side yard professionally cleaned and sealed. They were loaded with black stains that I lightened up a bit, but they still looked sad and dirty. I knew the answer was to call in the professionals so I contacted Concrete Paver Restorations. Drew, the owner, sent Joe and Brent over and they cleaned them up the best they could and applied the sealer the same day. They worked quickly and efficiently. The flagstone now looks fresh and clean - nicer than I've ever seen them! If you need your concrete cleaned and sealed, Concrete Paver Restorations is the place to go! read more

Concrete Paver Restorations is a well run, professional company, and Drew is great. It's nice in today's world to have a company that actually answers the phone and returns calls, and Drew does that. They are no nonsense - you get a fair bid, and they do the job as agreed. I was extremely pleased with their work. They also back up their work and customer satisfaction is valued by them. Unbeknownst to everyone, we had our really large old paver driveway restored by them in January, right before the worst winter rains in 50 years came. The driveway was like brand new, but so much water washed out some of our sand which saddened us, so I called Drew. We agreed we'd wait for the storms to stop and he'd come back. They didn't stop though, went on until June, so I called him 5 months later and he remembered me and sent his guys out right away. They replaced the sand under their warranty and it looks just as good as it did right after they restored it. I'll definitely call Drew to seal it so I can keep it looking nice and delay the full restoration I had to do this time because I didn't take care of it properly. I highly recommend Concrete Paver Restorations. read more
