The Pan is a really good spot for breakfast. I've been to a few locations. This one has patio seating which I why I often choose it. It's very casual and relaxed. The breakfast is pretty consistent and there are many items to choose from. The service is friendly and never had any issues getting someone's attention. Recently I tried their short rib eggs benedict which was really tasty. It was a good portion and not overwhelming. The chipotle cream sauce is a nice alternative to hollandaise. Their pancakes are all pretty good as are their omelettes. There is nothing frilly or fancy about their dishes but you probably can't really go wrong with whatever you choose.

Ordered the pastrami and egg sandwich. It was unique because it had crispy hash browns inside. The sandwich is huge and could easily be shared or saved for another day. It was very filling, but also pretty heavy and oily. My wife ordered the loaded hash browns with guava pancakes. The hash browns had way too much aioli sauce and the guava pancakes had a lot of sauce as well, so I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side if you want something a little lighter. My 5-year-old got the sausage, hash browns, and pancakes, and the portion sizes were great for him. The food is good, but most of the dishes are on the heavier side. Service is solid and ambience is chill.

When I think of a hearty breakfast that will hit the spot and that is local to me I will always think The pan's loaded hash browns. It hits the spot every time. I also love their mango lemonade. The chilaquiles and pancakes are yummy too. Service is friendly but maybe a lil too friendly to the men iykyk ambiance is country style and is always busy and parking lot is usually full so you might have to park on the street. Good food, generous portions, and an enjoyable atmosphere We went to The Pan for breakfast and overall had a really good experience. I ordered the Pan's Original / Old-Fashioned Hash, which was a very generous portion with good flavor. The hash browns were well cooked but not crispy, topped with shredded cheese, bacon, sausage, and two eggs over medium. I added the chili aioli on the side, which I enjoyed. Everything tasted good, but I eat pretty light and couldn't finish it -- portions are definitely on the larger side. My sister ordered the French toast with eggs, bacon, and sausage, and she enjoyed her meal as well. We also tried the seasonal salted caramel latte. It had good flavor and came topped with whipped cream. It was a bit sweet for me, so I added some half and half, but it was still a nice hot drink. Our waitress, Des, was great -- friendly, always smiling, and checking in on us throughout the meal. The ambience was enjoyable. We ate outside, and the space felt rustic and comfortable with wooden benches, metal chairs, and a country-style vibe. The heating lamps made the outdoor seating easy to enjoy. We didn't have a long wait, which was a pleasant surprise since this place often has lines. Parking is limited (only a few spots), but there is residential street parking nearby if you pay attention to the signs. I'm giving this four stars, which for me is still a very good rating. A five-star review usually means there's no room for improvement. While the menu does offer à la carte options, it would be nice to see a few clearly labeled lighter or smaller-portion options for those who don't want a full plate. Overall, good food and a spot I'd come back to.

Sometimes you just want a no-frills, feel-good brunch spot -- and The Pan in Gardena hits that sweet spot. Came here for a late-morning weekend brunch and left very happy. This spot strikes a great balance between cozy comfort and solid food. Parking: There's a small lot in front, but if that's full, residential street parking nearby makes it pretty painless. Wait Time: About 10 minutes on a Saturday around 11 a.m. for a party of two -- totally reasonable for brunch hours. Vibe: Super cozy with quirky Southern-inspired decor. It feels warm and welcoming, not pretentious. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is a nice bonus. Food: * The chilaquiles with carne asada were good and satisfying, served with rice and beans -- hearty without being overwhelming. * The guava pancake was the standout: fluffy, moist, and lightly sweet. * The tiramisu pancake was a bit of a letdown for us. It leaned dry and didn't really deliver on the coffee flavor we were expecting. Still enjoyable, just not a reorder compared to the guava. Service: Truly fantastic. Everyone was sweet, attentive, and quick without rushing us -- exactly what you want during a relaxed brunch. Restroom: One single, gender-neutral restroom. Overall, a solid brunch option in Gardena with great service and a cozy atmosphere. I'd definitely come back, especially for those guava pancakes.

There was a 25 min wait when we arrived for brunch. No complaints, just goes to show how good their food is. Service was quick after being seated. We ordered three items: the loaded hash browns, Pan's scramble, and guava pancakes. If you are lactose intolerant, come prepared with your Lactaid pills or whatever you need to do because you'll want to try them all.

Love coming here. You definitely get that out of the cityy on vacation quality both look & taste breakfast, in the hood lol. You don't find too many spots like these in LA. Personally, i normally leave the city for satisfaction guaranteed. Atmosphere, service, location, all definitely play a roll, at least for me. Let's dive in shall we; The things on the menu will make you go crazy and come back again (like me). I definitely love a variety of food which intro's a personal favorite thing about them. They allow you to add literally just one pancake or toast which goes great when you wanna satisfy that wondering eye, but having your eye completely somewhere else. I love how you don't have to get the full order, it can just be added on. The banana pancake hit home, ended up taking the toast home. The Short Rib Benedict was amazingly good. The corn gives it a lovely taste. Potatoes with veggies was a cool choice. For a side. Btw, ive had the chorizo scramble i think its called? BOMB! Really enjoyed the service. Everyone was so attentive, even the greeter. Location is nice and surprisingly big for its size. The breeze you get inside and outside feels nice. Parking might be one of their cons, but you can easily find some on that residential block behind them. I would've given them a straight 5, however i was not too pleased that i overheard one of the staff members mention to another one that they were sick, that they couldn't taste or smell. The employee had a face mask, but being the one bringing your food over? Yeah, that did not sit right or should slide. If you are sick, especially with symptoms like those, you should stay home! This won't affect me from coming back, but i hope they read this or consider it for the future. That can also get the whole team sick and bring the flock down one at a time! Anywho, dive in!

This breakfast was worth the wait! Servers were very nice and on top of it (refills, napkins, sauces, etc) - Everyone in my party really enjoyed our food and wait time surprisingly was very quick so we love that. Will def be coming back to try their other items but love how wide of a breakfast and lunch menu they have.

First time here with my husband and everything was good! Their pancakes are fluffy and not that sweet. Definitely come back to try other dishes.

The food was extremely good. The wait was a little bit but it is a small establishment. The pizza was delicious and so was the shrimp and grits. The French toast was ok.... I should have went with pancakes. But overall would go back if in the area.

If you only knew how excited I am writing this review. I first visited this location in 2015 before becoming a Yelp person. In 2015 I decided this was the best breakfast restaurant I've ever had. I returned today, and ordered the same loaded hash as I did in 2015 and tears fell from my eyes. The amount of flavors that exploded on my taste palette. 20/10- I would definitely recommend. Service was great and I would be visiting on my next trip to LA. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great breakfast.

Small intimate setting. Metal chairs outside option. Parking is very limited. We had to park on street. Was greeted like a minute after arrival. Staff were busy. Danielle was our server excellent service. Restaurant was clean. The food was not as I remember from the Long Beach location. My French toast had a meat taste to it. Food was decent.

Extremely attentive and gracious staff willing to accommodate. I asked for the WiFi password and they gave me the slip for when I came back from the bathroom... It's a great little spot... I would probably try something else next time, but that's not because the food was not good, I just want to see what else they can do. If you order what I ordered I would recommend over easy eggs instead of poached... the tea service was very nice.... ‍‍

What happened to the yelp waitlist?

Hello Mikayla, We removed it. We were having alot of complaints.

Do they still do the deep dish Chicago style pizza?

Yes!!! And it's STILL delicious as ever

Do they sell mimosas on the weekend?

    No mimosas :(

Should I get on the yelp waiting list or come in person to get on the waiting list for tomorrow morning at opening time for quickest waiting time and quickest service time, thanks in advance?…

I think it would be smart to do both, just in case.

When is the best time (less crowd/wait) during the weekend?

If you come right when we open you should be able to sit down right away, less crowded will be after 1pm. We serve breakfast all day.

Do they allow dogs in outdoor seating areas?

Yes. They also accommodate the dogs by offering water and beef patty !

    What are the vegan options?

There are no vegan items on the menu. Could you possibly tweak items since they offer Beyond Meat for an additional charge? Sure, but my experience dining in was subpar and their hesitation verifying vegan ingredients was alarming.

Can I make a reservation over the phone?

From experience, they do not accept reservations. Best bet is to join the waitlist and be sure to let them know when you arrive.

When do u stop serve breakfast?

Breakfast is served all day, yum! We had breakfast at 2pm yesterday! Lol

    Is the pan open today?

    Yes till 1:00pm

Just tried to place an order on-line for pick-up but it's not allowing me to do that. I guess since it's mother's day, a holiday, Pan doesn't accept on-line orders for pick-up on holidays?

Yeah, we tried the same thing and they canceled the order within 2 minutes. We then called and they left us on hold for 30 minutes before we just hung up and decided to eat somewhere else. I take it they were really busy.

Do people physically there waiting get less priority than the yelp waitlist?

No, everyone is on the same digital waitlist - if you wait in person you input your party info upon arrival. Yelp waitlist just means you add onto that list without being there physically in person. Same big list, in order of when info was submitted.

    Do they serve mimosas?

I’m pretty certain they don’t serve alcohol so no mimosas...☹️ But they have excellent lemonades!!

Can you accommodate a party of 9?

    They sure can!

I want to make rsvp for 3pax for 9/9 at 11.30am?

    They do not take reservations.

We're already big fans of Aunty Maile's, so we were excited to support this business and drive from South OC here. We love that they expanded the menu to include plate lunches and all the familiar goodies from Aunty Maile's. We came at 3 pm, and it was crowded. It has a hint of sweetness and tartness and then bam!..the fresh garlic! Yum! Tofu was good, too! Hubby had the char siu chicken with all rice and no Mac salad. It came with a side of hot mustard. Truly onolicious! Only ask for next time is extra hot mustard. For dessert round, we got a dozen malasadas - 6 "simple kine" and 6 "filled," and a shave ice. Everything was great - food, service, and atmosphere. Oh, I forgot to mention that they hosted a pet adoption outside. So, on top of that, they're people with great hearts.

Looks can be deceiving…read more As I was driving off of the Rosecrans exit of the 110 freeway to the restaurant, I startled to get a little nervous. Looking around area, a desolate industrial wasteland emerged. I thought to myself, "Am I in the right place? Where could there possibly be a restaurant? Did I send my friend the wrong address?" However as I continued down Grand I finally caught a glimpse of a sign that indicated additional parking in the rear. Nerves began to settle as I was able to easily find parking in the giant lot behind the store. I walked around the block, found the entrance and went inside. What awaited me inside had me in shock. A spacious area with a family friendly industrial tones with plenty of seating, a friendly staff that ushered me in and seamlessly guided me to my friend's table, and quaint bakery and grocery area to boot. The food was delicious, upon a cursory review of Yelp I went with the Gnocchi with pesto. My friend had chicken Scaloppina. Portions and price point were great. I had leftovers and did not feel ripped off. The cappuccino I ordered, not the best, but it wasn't bad. It's not like I was at a cafe or coffee shop. The waiter was attentive and the restaurant seemed to be at 70% capacity with families. Overall, I would say it was a positive experience and would recommend it as the best Italian option in this part of town. I regret not getting the House Cake as it looked delicious...I was just too full. Bonus* I did hear some people speaking Italian which also adds some street cred to this fine institution.

Not this time, not this place. Aside from the amazing food, the service was so spot on. And on top of everything else they were able to figure out and divide all of our orders so we didn't get one big check. I was so blown away at the service of this place, but let's talk about the food. I had chicken Parmesan and it was great, my wife had the seafood mix with all the different things that go in that and she was really happy. Everything from the bread, to my sister-in-law's lemon chicken was amazing. And then we got to the desserts. You will never find a better restaurant than this for desserts. Their bakery is right on hand, and oh my God was their desserts incredible. I think we all sampled everything, I had a pastry puff that was covered in chocolate with a cream filling on the inside and I swear it was one of the best things that ever went in my mouth. The open air ambience was really interesting, and I swear I have never been in such a large party and had everybody as happy as we were at this restaurant. It was for my wife's birthday and I gotta say they nailed it!!! I can't wait to go back to LA and hit this place up again.

The place is small so if you want to do a walk in be prepared to wait, but the wait is honestly so random. One time I got in 25 minutes later and next time 45 minutes. First time, I got takeout and was honestly disappointed. The pizza got cold during the 12 minute walk back to my apartment and it just didn't hit the same because it wasn't fresh. Second time, we did a walk-in on a Sunday and somehow got really lucky. Waited about 20 minutes at a nearby coffee shop because of cancellations. We got the Margherita special and Ruti's pizza, and both were out of this world. Especially the Margherita special... this is hands down my favorite pizza i've tried in LA. I tend to gravitate toward classic flavors and they did everything right with this one. The crust alone... probably the best Neapolitan dough I've had in my life. It's pillowy, soft, slightly chewy, and just has that perfect structure. Only thing to note is their pizzas are VERY floppy. Like... really floppy. So if that's not your thing, you might not love it as much. Ruti's pizza is a white base with soppressata, fresh arugula, and hot honey. The sweet and spicy combo worked really well, super balanced and not overwhelming. We also got the tricolor salad which was a great starter. Very fresh, bright, and tangy from the lemon dressing. It cuts through the heaviness of the pizza perfectly. Third time, we did another walk-in on a Saturday around 2:30 PM and got seated within 30 minutes. At this point I'm convinced I just have good luck with the wait times!! We ordered the mala lamb sausage, diavola, bianca, and tiramisu. My favorite this time was the bianca. It was lighter and acted as a really nice palate cleanser between the heavier pizzas. You can actually taste the lemon in it, which surprisingly I loved on pizza. Only thing is you have to eat it fast because once it cools down, the cheese solidifies pretty quickly. The mala lamb sausage is definitely a crowd favorite, but not my personal favorite.... It leans heavier and the lamb flavor comes through pretty strong. If you like bold flavors you'll probably love it, but I personally prefer something more classic and clean like the margherita or the bianca. The diavola was solid. The soppressata brought the right amount of spice and everything felt really balanced. And the tiramisu... I will always get this if I have room for dessert. It's a good portion size!! The three of us shared it after already eating three pizzas (and still had 3 slices leftover) and we were completely stuffed. I would come back again for the Margherita special and the tiramisu alone.

Diavolo had a little kick but nothing an Angelino can't handle. Though I normally get margherita, I wanted to compare with marinara. Both were great. They also provided anchovies on the side for the Cesar salad. https://www.50toppizza.it/referenza/pizzeria-sei-3/

For our first visit, my daughter suggested the Tandoori Tikka Pizza (Tandoori Chicken). We also ordered the Halal Chicken Wings, Garlic Naan, and a small salad. Right away, the smell when you walk in is incredible, and the staff greets you immediately, which made a great first impression. Now for the food -- the pizza was delicious with the perfect amount of toppings. The sweet and tangy BBQ sauce really brought everything together. I personally would've liked a little more cheese, but the crust was cooked perfectly with a nice chewy texture. The wings were another standout that both my wife and I really enjoyed. Slightly crispy on the outside while still delicate and moist inside, with a mild heat from the spices that wasn't overpowering. The naan was decent with a good garlic flavor, although it was a bit thin for my preference. The salad was fresh and delicious -- we always appreciate having plenty of vegetables with our meals. Overall, definitely recommend checking them out. Next time we're planning to try the Butter Chicken Pizza.

While in California for a cruise, we even extended our stay an extra night just to visit their Carson location. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. Looking at other reviews, some pizzas looked much better, while others appeared just as dry as ours, so it seems inconsistent. The customer service was good, and I appreciate that, but we wouldn't return for the pizza. Overall, very disappointing.
