They have another location about 2 miles away from this one, although this location is definitely their most popular. It's somewhere in between a traditional diner and standard breakfast restaurant. Our server was very polite, although it took quite a bit of time for all of our food items to come out. They have a very small free parking lot attached, and we were lucky enough to find a space for our Sunday brunch, but most other people I noticed had to do free street parking which is fairly plentiful in this part of town. I'm giving it a 4/5 because the flavors were good but not great, I have had better recently, but I am still happy that we tried it. For my meal I chose the Short Rib Benedict and thought it had some nice flavors although I was surprised it did not come with a side. It was just the Benedict. I have to give it a 3/5 though because the eggs were completely hard-boiled and any true good Benedict has to have poached eggs or at least a soft boil. That really took away from the flavors. I also ordered a Cinnamon Roll Pancake on the side and was sad to see it was full of nuts. It really took away from the cinnamon flavor and I felt like I was eating a nut pancake. The caramel latte was nice and I would recommend ordering that. Overall a decent breakfast spot, but considering I drove down from West LA specifically for it I don't plan to be back. I'm a sucker for old diners and this one was amazing. I got seated immediately and the server came over and asked what I wanted to drink. I replied coffee which came in a big mug that I really liked. It was good and the cream was perfect with it had some natural raw sugar to add in into sweeten up my day then I got the lumberjack meal add extra bacon. It was fantastic little hot sauce on the hashbrowns mix the egg yolk in with the potatoes crumble a little bacon on top and you make your own little breakfast. Mash up ambience is what you'd expect. I'm very happy to see this place expanding and opening more locations because that's more opportunities for me to stop in and try their delicious pancakes! We're seated right away in the back, lots of seating around apart from the main dining area. The parking lot was full so had to use the street but it worked. After grazing the menu I decided on the Chilaquiles, and my wife ordered the kielbasa scramble. Both dishes were tasty, but here is where the 3 1/2 stars come into play. My dish came out perfectly fine except for one thing, the temperature. Even my wife said she has an issue. My chilaquiles were ok, but barely warm, and my beans and rice were absolutely cold, not kinda warm, it was basically cold rice and beans, which is ridiculous. I have to admit the portion size is adequate, I was stuffed after this dish, definitely a full breakfast. We had our coffee and relaxed a bit, she also had taken over 10 minutes to get my wife her toast, which was literally just a piece of bread cut in half, you butter it yourself. All in all, I liked it. Despite there being some simple things to fix, the food was good, and the portion and presentation were great. Just wish I could score higher because it seems like a decent spot, overall I'm glad i discovered The Pan , I will definitely be back to maybe try a lunch sometime, but in the meantime get those burners up, let's get the beans and rice up to temp and we'll be cooking with gas, in The Pan. read more

I went to this place on a Saturday with a medium sized party (3 adults, 2 kids). I would recommend making a reservation. We got there around 9:30am and the wait was about 20-25 minutes. The parking lot is VERY small and you are better off finding street parking. The server was nice and checked up on us twice after we got our food and we did not wait too long for our food. I got the guava n cream crepe and a side of hash browns. I really enjoyed the guava purée. If they sold a jar of it, I would buy it. I did not enjoy the cream cheese on the inside. It was WAY TOO MUCH. I ended up taking out most, if not all, of it out (just used my fork and knife). I think if you are like me, the guava pancakes would be the better option. The whipped cream was amazing and very tasty. It was light and I ate most of it (the three dollops was the perfect amount).
