He helped me make mindful edits and suggestions as an unexpected injury almost sidelined the whole event. His team was so understanding at pivoting all throughout the day. There were so many last minute changes that took place. They were such great sports about everything. They were super patient, very professional when approached and helped me with every change up needed. All of my guests had a fabulous time with DJ Winston, spinning tunes and giving out light up sticks on the dance floor (that was a very nice surprise). Winston was so easy to work with. He arranged our playlist perfectly. Ben, our photographer, was really super! He helped us with staging, posing, checked for optimal angles and lighting. Did retakes on the spot if it wasn't perfect. I really appreciated that. All throughout the event, he was running around taking shots, double and triple checking my pre-set list of must have photos. He didn't miss a beat. During our event, I recall seeing him on the floor, behind the tables, by the back wall - I mean he was literally everywhere! I think he was more anxious than I, about the photos I said I wanted as he reminded me a few times that I didn't take the few shots that said I wanted. LOL (No worries Ben, you did it, we got them all)! And kudos to our photo booth attendant, Jeffrey. A man of very few words but he was patient and took care of 70+ guests in 4 hours. He manned the photo booth solo and it ran very smoothly. Between the multiple prints for each person and those re-takes, he was so quick. (Some of us were caught off guard so outtakes and retakes were indeed a thing). The 40+ teens definitely had a great time taking photos at the booth. All of our photos came out great. Choosing the photo layout and card design was actually the hard part - we took a bit of time to choose. Our guests really enjoyed the variety of props provided, you could tell the had fun with it. The best part was the silver backdrop we chose for our booth -- it was classy and stylish. Loved it and it complimented our decor! I totally recommend Dynasty Weddings without reservation. When it came down to the wedding, everything was amazing! Everyone was raving about the photo booth and the animated GIFS! The prints/photos were some of the highest quality I have seen from a wedding! Tommy was great with the light setup and managing the photo booth! Following the wedding, we also received a photo gallery. The pictures were enhanced and everyone looked amazing in their shots. Chris and his team provided ease of access to the photos for us to relive all the memories! DJ Lo provided such a great ambiance and really transformed the dance floor when the time came! He understood what the wedding needed in terms of music and was great with accommodating all of our song requests. The music really brought everyone together and made it a fun night! And lastly, Terry did a great job of navigating me throughout the night as my bilingual MC! He made me feel at ease and I appreciate all the coordination! Everyone loved the opening ice breakers he brought up! I appreciate how smoothly everything turned out with Terry navigating me throughout the night! Dynasty Weddings brought such a great team to my wedding! I highly recommend them as they made my wedding reception unforgettable!

Although there's limited options for bridesmaid colors and styles so if you have a lot (more than 3) of bridesmaids I don't recommend this place. They don't expect tips every time you come. Also they're pretty good on time as well as having someone serve only us and not have other customers there. The makeup artist that did the bride's makeup had amazing skills and also followed the bride throughout her wedding ceremony to touch up as well as change makeup style with the different outfits she rented. The photographer from thus studio really helped us loosen up and have fun while taking pictures together. My dress was too tight on the day of the wedding and they allowed me to switch out to a looser dress last minute. I don't know what the price was but the bride told me it was a more budget friendly option and it included everything in the package. Just need to book appointments to come in every time and no walk-ins allowed. Also they didn't all speak Cantonese which made it a little harder to communicate. Only one person spoke English well enough to communicate with. It's best to speak mandarin which I and 1 other bridesmaid couldn't really.

She was extremely helpful and responsive every single step of the way. Without her, I don't think I would have gotten everything together. I did not do a package, instead I rented a wedding dress, a mandarin qipao, hired a make up artist, MC, and DJ through Paris; and when our old decorator pulled out at the last minute, Ula eased the stress with a new recommendation 1 month away. 1. Dress selection is limited, and it did cost more than I expected to rent, but I don't regret not needing to have to store a giant dress in my tiny Manhattan apartment. The seamstress was very nice to work with, though I think she only speaks Chinese. 2. Make up artist was Crystal! She was so great. She traveled all the way up to Morningside Heights with her giant suitcase and did a phenomenal job. My schedule is difficult and Ula was able to work with me to secure a make up trial with Crystal a couple months before the wedding. It was extremely helpful to have a make up trial beforehand, so I do recommend it, even if it costs more. 3. JJ was my MC and I had a couple of guests come up to me to tell me how great she was going in between English and Mandarin. My friends speaks english but family members do not, so hiring JJ was such a win. She called us a month before and planned out an itinerary, which we ended up not following the day of, but she was able to play it by ear and made the night very fun. 4. DJ was James Vincent, who knew how to work the crowd. Lots of dancing, which was what we wanted. So overall, it was a great experience having a one- stop shop for all of our extra-venue vendors. I did not use their photographer/videographers since I had a recommendation from a friend (I wanted to be able to work with the same photographer for our engagement shoot and our wedding day-- so that they get to know you). Highly recommend.

At the outset of planning our wedding, we had a strong vision for the event, but lacked a fundamental understanding of how we'd put it together, the flow throughout the night, and the logistics of the more do-it-yourself venues that we were most interested in. Once we met Heather Levine from Naturally Delicious (ND), and started working with her, it became clear that ND were the perfect partners for our event. Heather had years of experience producing events in our venue and others like it and experience producing a variety of types of events. Heather had on-point suggestions for every detail of our event, whether it be food, run-of-show, liquor, rentals, or anything. About two weeks before the event, we faced an unexpected crisis. We don't know what we would have done without Heather generally, but especially during these two weeks. Our bi-weekly emails with Heather turned into multiple calls and texts a day. Alongside no small amount of coaching (bordering on counseling at times), Heather helped us repeatedly communicate with all of our loved ones about the event, and tirelessly worked across our vendors and venue to make many significant, last minute adjustments. Overall, we couldn't recommend Naturally Delicious and Heather Levine more!

Melissa very willingly accommodated and worked with our limited budget to provide the best food and service. We were even making changes until a day before the event! The food was set up and delivered an hour and a half before the start of the event, which was a great relief for the event planners and a burden off our shoulders. The lovely bartenders were experienced and worked quickly, so there was hardly ever a line. Clean up was easy and fast, and Naturally Delicious worked with our space limitations to make the process super seamless. The food itself was all cold since we didn't have access to a kitchen to heat it up, so it wasn't as appetizing as some of our guests had hoped. However, I think this was more a result of my menu selection than anything Naturally Delicious did. The catering was a bit on the pricier side, but it's well worth it for the professionalism. If I'm planning catering for a future event, I will definitely turn to Naturally Delicious again!

From the very first moment we toured the space in spring 2024, we knew it was the one. The venue is stunning -- modern yet warm, with gorgeous architectural details and an effortlessly chic vibe that feels both elevated and welcoming. Deity is truly a dream for couples planning a wedding in NYC. They host weddings from 50 to 150 guests, and we chose their 50-person micro wedding package. Their pricing is transparent and incredibly reasonable for NYC -- packages range from $12K-$18K, and we added their breathtaking bridal suite for an additional $3,000, which was worth every penny. The suite is spectacular: two bathrooms, a shower, a full kitchen, a balcony, incredible photography space, a huge sleigh bed, a stunning tub, luxe velvet and leather furniture, exposed brick, and access to a rooftop with a hot tub and cold plunge. It made our wedding morning feel like a luxury retreat and gave us the most beautiful getting-ready photos. What really sets Deity apart is that they are fully all-inclusive and tip-free, which made planning so much less stressful. They handled coat check, bartenders, staffing, a day-of coordinator, DJ/MC, room transitions between floors, passed appetizers, a excellent, generous family style seated dinner, and a full bar with fantastic food and drinks. They also offer beautiful decor basics including a gorgeous hexagon arch, candles, mirrors, table numbers, linens, chairs, and all flatware. This allowed us to personalize the day with our own invites, florals, attire, officiant, dessert, and additional vendors without feeling overwhelmed. Our coordinator was absolutely phenomenal -- calm, organized, and truly invested in making our day perfect. The owner, Caio, was lovely, warm, and incredibly professional throughout the entire process. We had several planning meetings, a detailed walk-through, and many email exchanges, and we always felt supported and at ease. We also loved the group tasting experience they offered with other couples getting married that month -- it was such a thoughtful and fun touch. All in, we were able to have our entire wedding in downtown Brooklyn for around $35K -- about $20K to the venue and $15K for extras -- which felt like an incredible value for the level of service, quality, and beauty we received. Location-wise, Deity is unbeatable. Being so close to Barclays Center meant there were at least seven hotels within a seven-minute walk, making it super convenient for our out-of-town guests. The flexibility to bring in our own vendors (outside of food and alcohol) made the entire process smooth, creative, and joyful. Truly, the whole experience was seamless from start to finish. I would choose Deity Events a thousand times over and can only highly recommend for other couples to choose Deity so they can have an equally incredible experience.

I'm always interested in how event spaces put on their show, and as such I was looking forward to checking this place out as well as celebrating my friend's new chapter. Diety doesn't look like much from the outside, especially as it's adjacent to Downtown Brooklyn and nestled in the middle of the block amongst several other businesses, however once you're inside there are a variety of spaces that can fit a variety of event types. The space is broken up into several floors - there are at least three of them with space to host, as well as a private area which looks like space to get ready, and then a rooftop area which (what I was told) has a hot tub. I hung out with the wedding party prior to the ceremony so I was in the upstairs area - it's spacious with a large kitchen, a selfie mirror, as well as a variety of sitting areas to relax and take pictures. The wedding was split among the other floors which had a bar area, dance floor, and space to exchange vows. Each floor provided different services but they were all tied together by a somewhat rustic yet upscale theme. As far as good, we were served strolling apps during the cocktail hour which were all tasty. For dinner we were served American fare family style - hake, short ribs, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. Everything was very good, especially in light of the fact that this was a catering hall/event space. The only drawbacks I could see were that there was no option for parking or valet, so you're on your own in that aspect. Also, I don't think Diety would be for everyone in terms of form or function. Each floor was somewhat small, so if you have a large event it wouldn't work; additionally, because the space is somewhat compartmentalized, we were hopping from floor to floor for each section of the wedding. If there are people with mobility issues this may not be the best place to host your event. Overall, though, I thought Diety put on a great wedding; the aesthetics are lovely (and moldable), the service was great, and the food was tasty. While not for everyone, this is definitely a solid option to host an event in Brooklyn.

I was born in the U.S., part Italian Catholic, part Jewish. My husband was born in China. We had a lot of traditions to celebrate at our wedding and Red Wedding helped make sure everyone from every background felt totally included, with music, activities, and live translation of the whole reception. From the initial planning meetings with Steven, we knew we were in good hands. He was extremely organized and attentive to detail as we walked through the full reception timeline together, minute by minute. He was a good listener, understanding the type of event we wanted, which allowed him to make very helpful suggestions for the programming and timing. Steven was very generous with his time in these planning meetings, and the materials he prepped and shared (timelines, song lists, lists of key persons to recognize, etc.) meant that we knew in advance that everything would go smoothly on the big day. We also really appreciated that May, our DJ, and Sisi, our English/Mandarin MC, took the time to meet with us in advance of the wedding as well so that we were on the same page with everything from musical styles to how to pronounce the wedding party's names exactly right in both languages. My husband and I also really appreciated how well the Red Wedding team worked with our main contact at the reception venue and with our month-of wedding coordinator, taking the time to meet with them in advance to hash out logistics and set out clear roles & responsibilities. All of this planning meant that the reception itself was nothing short of spectacular! The grand entrance, the first dance, the mother-son dances, the anniversary game, the hora, the dance sets - everything was flawless! Seriously, I have been dreaming about my first dance with my spouse at my wedding since I was a little kid and - just like the title of our song - it was Perfect. May did an amazing job as DJ striking the right tone for all the different segments of the evening. Sisi was absolutely delightful as MC - she was energetic and funny and sweet but still kept the spotlight on us and our whole family, keeping both the American and Chinese sides engaged and partying together. Multiple guests came up to me after the wedding to say how impressed they were with the Red Wedding team, and we heartily agree!
